Abstract

This development research refers to several analyzes carried out, namely performance analysis in learning, student analysis, which is a study of student characteristics based on knowledge, skills, and development. Analysis of facts, concepts, principles and needs based on current problems, namely learning from home caused by the covid-19 pandemic which requires learning media. Learning media that can meet today's learning needs are chemistry E-magazines that can be accessed anytime and anywhere with valid, practical, and effective criteria. The e-magazine is then validated first by the supervisor and three material validators and media validators. After the e-magazine is said to be valid, it is tested in learning. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). After going through the stages of analysis, design, and development of a valid E-Magazine, it was first tested on a small group (initial field trial) and revised. After the initial revision, it was re-tested to a large group (main field trial) to see the effectiveness and practicality of the E-Magazine. The sample in this study were students of class X MIA 2 The initial field trial class amounted to 9 students and Class X MIA 3 as the main field trial class amounted to 30 students at the implementation stage of ADDIE with the object of research namely E-Magazine Reaction Reduction and Oxidation that has been developed. Collecting data using instruments in the form of observation sheets, questionnaires for assessment of material experts, media experts, teachers and students. Qualitative data analysis using a Likert scale and quantitatively based on the Post Test scores of students' learning outcomes. The results of the development obtained that the E-Magazine profile of Reduction and Oxidation Reactions met the validity criteria, showing 1.00 (very high criteria) in terms of questionnaire responses from media experts and material experts. The results of the practicality analysis in terms of the teacher and student response questionnaires obtained each percentage of 90.90% (very practical criteria) for the teacher's response to the initial field trial and 95.45% (very practical criteria) for the main field trial. In the questionnaire responses, students each obtained a percentage of 79.75% (practical criteria) for the initial field trial and 85.50% (very practical criteria) for the main field trial and the results of the effectiveness analysis based on the students' completeness in the post test. obtained a percentage of 79.75% for the initial field trial and the main field trial obtained a percentage of 86.67%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Reduction and Oxidation Reaction E-Magazine that has been developed meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This pre-experimental study aims to determine the effectiveness of the online Discovery Learning Model the Learning Outcomes of Students in Class at MAN Bantaeng on Oxidation Reduction Main Reaction Material. The research design used is a one-shot case study. The sample in this study were all the students in class X MIA 1 MAN which consisted of 22 students. Data was collected by presenting a post-test to the experimental class. This study uses descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the average value of the learning outcomes was 82.8, the percentage of class completeness was 86.3%, the percentage of completeness indicators was 83.90%, the average of the student response was 75.5%, and the percentage of student activity was 73%. In testing the hypothesis using the Wilcoxon signed rank test with = 0.05, the probability < (0.001 < 0.05). With this, it can be concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model improves the students’ learning outcomes of class X MIA 1 MAN Bantaeng on the reduction reaction material subject matter.Keywords: Effectiveness, Discovery Learning, reduction oxidation reaction

Abstract

The use of appropriate techniques will determine the success of achieving student competencies in learning. Learning techniques that tend to be monotonous make students less actively involved in learning and less training students’ critical thinking skills. Development of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model is expected to be implemented effectively in class and assist students in learning chemistry. This development research aims at discovering: (1) the description of the development of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model; and (2) the extent of the quality of chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model to enhance learning motivation and critical thinking skills of students on Atomic Structure material. The study consists of several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product developed was test to 35 students of grade X MIA 4 at SMAN 3 Bone of Academic Year 2019/2020. The validity of the product was test by two assessors. This study employed the stages of TGT model, namely class presentation, group work, games, tournament, and appreciation. The stages of chemistry quiz was started from association activity and presented in a form of a quiz or question which used HOTS questions along with the games to motivate the students in learning and think critically. The results of the study reveal that: (1) the mean score of product validity is 3.71 (very valid); (2) the data of learning motivation questionnaire X ̅ = 3.31 (high); (3) the mean score of N-Gain of KBK is 0.79 (high); (4) The teacher and students indicated a very positive response with the percentage of 96.88% and 87.11%. Therefore, the conclusion is the chemistry quiz technique based on HOTS in TGT Model developed in chemistry learning on Atomic Structure material is valid, practical, and effective to enhance learning motivation and critical thinking skills of students.

Abstract

The type of this study is Research and Development (R&D) which aims at examining the development procedure and quality of assessment instruments to measure critical thinking skills of students on Stoichiometry material. The study employed Plomp’s research and development model design that consisted of 5 stages, namely: (1) initial investigation stage, consisted of field study and review literature (2) design stage, consisted of planning and organizing assessment instruments for critical thinking skills on Stoichiometry material (3) realization/ construction stage, (4) test, evaluation and revision stage, consisted of two main activities, namely validation by experts and small grub test, and (5)  implementation stage is the field test. The assessment instruments which was developed was in a form of essays format. The research subjects were students of grade XI MIPA 6 SMAN at SMA N 1 Makassar with 34 students. Data on the results of the instrument’s validation by Experts was declared to be very feasible/ valid with an average percentage of 91.66%. The results of the validity analysis of the items indicate that the items support the validity of the test so that it is said to be feasible or valid, while the item reliability was stated reliable with a reliability value of 0.897 with a high interpretation. Analysis of the difficulty level of the instrument obtained an average score of 0.64 with the medium category. The distinguishing power of the instrument shows good category with an average value of 0.49. The practicality of the instruments assessed by the teacher obtained a percentage of 92.5% with a very practical category. The results of the analysis of students' critical thinking skills obtained that the average critical thinking skills of students are in medium category.

Abstract

Abstrak. SMAN 2 Takalar yang merupakan Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini memiliki permasalahan, sebagai berikut: (1) Pemahaman tentang pelaksanaan PTK masih belum memadai, (2) Guru-guru di sekolah ini sangat jarang melakukan pengkajian proses pembelajaran sebagai bentuk PTK, (3) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara daring selama masa pandemik Covid-19 makin menambah ketidakberdayaan guru-guru dalam melakukan PTK. Sasaran PKM ini adalah guru-guru menyadari perlunya PTK dilakukan dalam pembelajaran sebagai wujud pengkajian proses pembelajaran dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran.  Selain itu, guru diharapkan tidak menganggap pandemik Covid-19 sebagai hambatan dalam melaksanakan PTK. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan pendampingan mitra. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra memiliki pengetahuan dalam mendesain rencana pelaksanaan PTK, (2) mitra memiliki keterampilan untuk mengobservasi kelas secara virtual, (3) mitra memiliki kemampuan mengolah data hasil observasi. Kata kunci: PTK, Pandemik Covid-19

Abstract

SMAN 5 Gowa merupakan  salah satu sekolah yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Tinggimoncong, tepatnya di kelurahan Malino yang merupakan salah satu  sekolah unggulan di Sulawesi Selatan yang  dahulu dikenal dengan nama SMA Andalan yang dirintis oleh Yayasan Latimojong. Jadi SMA Negeri 5 adalah milik PEMDA Kabupaten Gowa sementara Asrama dan failitas lainnya merupakan milik Yayasan. Jarak kota Malino kurang lebih 60 KM dari Makassar ke arah timur. Sekolah ini memiliki 20 guru (10 guru laki-laki dan 10 guru perempuan), tiga orang tenaga pendidik (2 laki-laki dan 1 perempuan),  23 PTK (sebagai guru sekaligus tendik) dan 301 peserta didik (321 laki-laki dan 155 perempuan) yang tersebar dalam 9 Rombongan Belajar (Rombel). Selain itu, sekolah ini juga memiliki sarana dan prasarana yang cukup memadai yakni 13 ruang kelas, sebuah perpustakaan, lima ruang laboratorium dan dua buah sanitasi untuk peserta didik dan guru. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sering menjadi kendala bagi guru dalam menduduki jenjang kepangkatan yang lebih tinggi, terutama bagi guru yang akan menduduki golongan IV. Guru pada umumnya belum terbiasa melakukan PTK sehingga banyak guru yang mentok golongannya pada golongan III. PKM ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasi PTK dikalangan guru-guru SMAN 5 Kecamatan Tinggimoncong Kabupaten Gowa. Kegiatan ini meliputi sosialisasi PTK, Simulasi merencanakan PTK dan workshop pembuatan draft PTK. Dengan demikian melalui kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan guru tidak lagi terkendala PTK dalam menaiki jenjang kepangkatan yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu wawancara dan penyebaran angket kepada guru SMAN 5 Kecamatan Tinggimoncong dilakukan sebagai evaluasi keberhasilan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Tujuannya adalah penerapan langkah-langkah pada setiap fase model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dengan metode ilmiah yang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XI MIA I SMA Negeri 1 Polongbangkeng Utara Kab. Takalar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah pada setiap fase model pembelajaran tersebut yang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa adalah: (1) fase pendahuluan dengan menjelaskan pengetahuan awal mengenai materi dan tujuan pembelajaran, (2) fase penyajian masalah dengan menampilan media dan print out media yang dilihat oleh siswa (mengamati dan menanya), (3) fase diskusi dengan mengarahkan siswa untuk menemukan solusi dari masalah dengan merujuk pada buku paket dan materi dari internet (menalar dan mencoba), (4) fase pembimbingan dengan membimbing seluruh siswa untuk setiap masalah yang muncul (menalar), (5) fase evaluasi dengan memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk menyampaikan hasil penemuannya, tanggapan dan pertanyaan (mengkomunikasikan), (6) fase penghargaan dengan memberikan pujian dan hadiah bagi siswa yang giat melakukan penemuan, dan (7) fase kesimpulan dengan memaparkan kesimpulan dari solusi yang menjadi hasil kegiatan penemuan. Aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat sebanyak 22.74%.Kata kunci: Penemuan Terbimbing, Metode ilmiah, Aktivitas BelajarABSTRACTThis research is a classroom action research (CAR). The aim is to find out necessary stages in implementing the guide discovery learning that is coupled with scientific methods which can increase learning activities of students’ in Year XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Polongbangkeng Utara Kab. Takalar. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the steps in each stage of the learning model that can improve student learning activities were: (1) at the initial stage: to explain the background knowledge about the topic being studied and the learning’s aim, (2) at the problem presentation stage: to show power point presentation slides and distribute the print out of the slides to students (observing and asking), (3) at the discussion stage: to ask students to solve the problem given by finding information necessary from their textbooks and/or articles from internet (thinking and trying), (4) at the guide stage: to guide students when they find difficulties in solving the problem (thinking), (5) at the evaluation stage: to give opportunities to students to explain their discoveries, responses and questions (communicating), (6) at the appreciation stage: to give praise and present to students who actively involved during the discovery process invention, and (7) at the conclusion stage: to draw conclusion from the solution that the students invented. By implementing these stages, the students learning activities increased by 22.74%.Keywords: Guide Discovery, Scientific Method, Learning Activity

Abstract

 ABSTRAKPenelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara menerapkan langkah-langkah metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI MIA.2 SMA Negeri 3 Model Takalar. Empat tahapan PTK, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kelas XI MIA.2 SMA Negeri 3 Model Takalar yang terdiri dari 7 langkah yaitu: (1) menjelaskan tujuan pembelajaran dan mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan materi sebelumnya; (2) memberikan masalah kepada siswa secara tertulis yang diselesaikan secara individual dengan memberikan Time Of Think selama 15 menit; (3) mengelompokkan siswa secara berkelompok secara sejajar yang kemudian mendiskusikan hasil pemikiran individualnya secara silang; (4) membagikan hasil diskusi kelompok kepada kelompok lain dengan mempresentasekan secara singkat; (5) memberikan tes kepada siswa berupa soal essay yang dikerjakan oleh siswa seara individual untuk menguji kemampuan yang dimilikinya; (6) memberikan reward dalam bentuk pujian kepada setiap siswa yang memiliki nilai tertinggi; dan (7) meminta siswa untuk menyimpulkan hasil pembelajaran sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil belajar siswa siklus I yaitu 62.13% tidak mencapai ketuntasan. Hasil belajar siswa siklus II yaitu 87.06% mencapai ketuntasan.Kata kunci: TPS, Hasil belajar, Asam basa ABSTRACTThis classroom action research aims to know how to apply the cooperative learning method of TPS type to enhance the student’s achievement of the class XI MIA.2 SMA Negeri 3 Model Takalar. There are four stage of CAR, (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The research was done in two cycle. The result showed that TPS learning method could enhance the student’s achievement of class XI MIA.2 SMA Negeri 3 Model Takalar, there are 7 steps are: (1) explain the learning purpose and linking the learning materials with that have been studied previously; (2) giving problem to the student who solved individually by providing the time of think for 15 minutes; (3) Grouping students in parallel and share the results of discussions within the group as a cross; (4) share the group discussion result to the other group by short presentation; (5) provided the test to the students in the form of essay is done by individually to test its capabilities; (6) given the reward in the form of compliment to every student who has the highest score; dan (7) asked the student to summarize the learning result according to the learning purpose. The student’s achievement for cycle I is 62.13% incomplete. The student’s achievement for cycle II is 87.06% complete.Keywords: TPS, Student’s achievement, Acid-base.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Media Animasi dalam Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X Sains SMA Negeri 1 Pinrang. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan media animasi dan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Ikatan Kimia. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas X Sains SMA Negeri 1 Pinrang yang berjumlah 288 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan metode random sampling yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X Sains 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang dan kelas X Sains 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pemberian tes hasil belajar siswa yang terdiri atas 30 butir soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan SPSS. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji t pada hasil belajar siswa menghasilkan pvalue< 0,05 yaitu 0,001,Disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh media animasi dalam model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMAN 1 Pinrang pada materi pokok Ikatan Kimia.Kata Kunci : media animasi, TPS, hasil belajar, ikatan kimiaABSTRACTThe research was a quasi-experimental that aimed to know the effect of Animation Media on Think pair Share (TPS) Learning Model Toward Student Achievement of Class X Sains SMA Negeri 1 Pinrang. The independent variable in this experiment was animation media on think pair share (TPS) learning model and the dependent variable was student’s achievement on chemical bonding subject matter. The population was class X Sains SMA Negeri 1 Pinrang consisted of 288 students. Taking technique of sample was random sampling. The sample of this research consisted of two classes, namely class X Sains 1 as a experiment class with 30 students and classX Sains 3 as a control class with 30 students. Data collection technique is obtained from objective test which consists of 30 items multiple choice. Data analysis using techniques and statistical analysis descriptive SPSS V22 inferential with the assistance .Who performed with the hypothesis testing in the results of student learning test-t produce pvalue< 0,05 = 0,001 , It was concluded that H0 were rejected and H1 accepted. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan asesmen portofolio pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tellu Siattinge. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan asesmen portofolio pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD tanpa asesmen portofolio, serta variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik Unsur.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tellu Siattinge yang terdiri dari 4 kelas berjumlah 128 orang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang dan kelas X4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang juga. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan pretest dan posttest dengan instrumen penelitian berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 item. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen pada pretest dan posttest berturut-turut yaitu 21,25 dan 69,81 dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0,61 dan kelas kontrol yaitu 22,81 dan 58,56 dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0,47. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 3,74 dan pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan dk = 62 diperoleh ttabel = 2,00. Oleh karena itu, thitung > ttabel, maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak.. Disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan asesmen portofolio pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas  X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tellu Siattinge pada materi pokok Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik Unsur.Kata Kunci : asesmen portofolio, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), Hasil Belajar, Struktur Atom dan Sistem Periodik UnsurABSTRACTThis research is a quasi-experimental that aimed to know the effect of using assessment portfolio through STAD type of cooperative learning toward study result of the student’s class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tellu Siattinge. The independent variables in this research is using assessment portfolio  through STAD type of  cooperative learning and STAD type of  cooperative learning without using asesmen portfolio. The dependent variable is study result on subject matter atomic structure and periodic table . The population in this research is X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tellu Siattinge consist of four classes which students 128. As a sample of this research consisted of two classes, namely class X1 as a experimental class with 32 students and class X4 as a control class with 32 students. The data of research are  gather  by giving pretest and posttest which the research istrumen is multiple choice with a number of questions are 25 items. Learning outcomes data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The analysis showed the average of students’ learning outcome value from experimental class in the pretest and posttest, respectively are 21,25 and 69,81 with N-Gain average 0,61. From control class are 22,81 and 58,56 with N-Gain average 0,47. The result of hypothesis testing by using t-test values, obtained that tobser=3,74 and α = 0,05 with df=68, obtained that ttable=2,00 so H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected because tobser > ttabel.  The conclution, there was the influence of using assessment portfolio through STAD type of  cooperative  learning gives affected toward study result of the student’s class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tellu Siattinge on atomic structure and periodic table.Keywords: Assessment portofolio, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), Student’s Achievement, Atomic Structure and Periodic Table
