Abstract

Sobat Ambyar is a very interesting phenomenon considering that fan groups are usually formed from the start when an artist is famous. In contrast to other fan groups, ambyar friends appear when there is a special moment when one of the concert becomes viral on social media. In addition, Sobat Ambyar is an identity that is attached to a person, whether he is a member of the community or not. So, to see the differences and how individuals identify themselves as Sobat Ambyar and attach that identity to themselves, this research was carried out, especially the term Sobat Ambyar is an identity that emerges from social media and become social identity that emerged from online forum. The study used a phenomenological qualitative approach by conducting interviews with the initiator of Sobat Ambyar, the chairman of Sobat Ambyar Jakarta (SAJ), and the Commander of Sobat Ambyar. The results of the study indicate that the group initiation, values, member recognition, and structure are different, as well as several other things that are slightly different where SAJ has a more structured and well administered than the Sobat Ambyar group in Solo as the center. This is because the background and dynamics of the organization are also more complex.

Abstract

Anak-anak yang tumbuh di lingkungan panti asuhan, terdapat karakteristik kebutuhan psikologis yaitu kepribadian inferior, pasif, apatis, menarik diri, mudah putus asa, dan penuh dengan ketakutan dan kecemasan yang membuat kemungkinan kesulitan dalam menjalin hubungan sosial dengan orang lain. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan keterampilan sosial kepada anak-anak asuh agar dapat terampil dalam interaksi sosialnya. Pelatihan keterampilan sosial untuk anak-anak di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Putri Muhammadiyah Malang dilakukan pada 27-28 Juli 2019 dan 4 Agustus 2019 di Aula Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Putri Muhammadiyah Malang. Peserta sebanyak 30 orang dengan 5 instruktur dari Universitas Negeri Malang. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat melalui pelatihan Keterampilan Sosial adalah p < 0.05 dan ada perbedaan mean pre dan posttest sehingga disimpulkan ada pengaruh pelatihan Keterampilan Sosial terhadap kemampuan sosial anak-anak di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak Putri Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Siswa/i SMA/sederajat sering kali menemui permasalahan mengenai pemilihan studi lanjutan, terutama mengenai program studi yang akan mereka ambil. Salah satu program studi yang tidak ada dan tidak dipelajari oleh mereka salah satunya ialah psikologi. Data penelitian awal yagn dimiliki peneliti menunjukkan akibat ketidakpahaman mengenai program studi ini, terutama kesesuaian pandangan awal dengan kenyataan perkuliahan dilapangan. Sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk membantu memberikan pemahaman terkait pilihan jurusan perkuliahan, khususnya psikologi kepada siswa-siswa yang akan mengambil pendidikan lanjutan. Kami melakukan sosialisasi kepada siswa SMA/sederajat menggunakan metode ceramah secara daring dengan melibatkan mitra salah satu platform belajar daring di Indonesia. Jumlah partisipan dalam pengabdian ini ialah 51 orang. Sosialisasi ini bermanfaat bagi peserta, bagi mereka informasi ini menjadi landasan pengetahuan mengenai program studi psikologi itu sendiri. High school students often encounter problems regarding the selection of further studies, especially regarding the study program they will take. One major that was not be studied by them was was psychology. Preliminary research show that majority of high school students lack of understanding what course they take if they choose psychology as their major in undergraduate level. So the purpose of this activity is to provide understanding about psychology as one of the major that they can choose. We conducted socialization to high school students using the online lecture method by involving partners from one of the online learning platforms in Indonesia. The number of participants in this service is 51 people. This socialization is useful for participants, for them this information becomes the basis of knowledge about the psychology study program itself.

Abstract

The industrial revolution makes an impact on social change, especially with the presence of social media, which then accelerates the dissemination of information. However, because of the large amount of information that is spread in cyberspace, not all information is filtered properly and often results in the emergence of false information (hoax). In order to overcome these problems, each people must have information literacy skills, including adolescent students of boarding school. To improve the knowledge and information literacy skills of adolescent students of boarding schools in the digital era, we held training on information literacy. The training was held at Al-Amin Islamic Boarding School Mojokerto for 2 days. The participants were 70 male students of classes X and XI at Al-Amin Islamic Boarding High School Mojokerto. The training was carried out in 4 stages, namely,  pretest, information literacy material, opinion article writing material, and posttest. Based on the difference test, the average value of the pretest was 78.63 and the post-test was 87.02. While the Paired Sample T-Test obtained a value of 0.000 0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference in the information literacy skills of participants before and after the training. Thus, conclusively, the training in information literacy can improve the information literacy skills of adolescent students at Al-Amin Islamic Boarding High School Mojokerto.

Abstract

Students' ability to operate their business will be determined by certain aspects. The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of internal locus of control (X1) and interpersonal ability (X2) on the readiness to manage business (Y). This research uses quantitative methods with linear regression analysis. Subjects were 141 business students. Sampling method that was used in this research was a purposive sampling technique using a Likert scale. Descriptive test results indicate that most students have internal locus of control, interpersonal skills, and readiness to manage businesses that are in the medium category. Partial test shows that X1 has a positive and significant effect on readiness to manage business Y. Variable X2 has a positive and significant effect on Y. Simultaneous results show that X1 and X2 have positive and significant effects on Y. In next research researchers are expected to be able to broaden the scope of the subject and explore further about the independent variables that have the ability to influence the readiness to manage the business. More detailed discussions and suggestions have been discussed in this study.

Abstract

Telah terbukti bahwa banyak penghuni panti asuhan memiliki sedikit akses pada kesempatan mengembangkan keterampilannya. Tidak semua panti asuhan berusaha untuk mendorong kreativitas dan jiwa kewirausahaan anak-anaknya. Oleh karena itu, untuk mendorong jiwa kewirausahaan diperlukan suatu program yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kreativitas dan pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan. Dengan bantuan proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini, anak-anak panti asuhan akan belajar cara membuat bunga flanel dan cara menjualnya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama enam hari yang dibagi menjadi dua sub kegiatan yaitu pelatihan pembuatan bunga flanel dan pelatihan kewirausahaan yang meliputi materi pemasaran usaha. Workshop dipilih sebagai bentuk pelatihan membuat bunga flannel. Sedangkan dalam pelatihan kewirausahaan menggunakan studi kasus, teknik ceramah, dan brainstorming. Berdasarkan evaluasi ditemukan adanya pengetahuan terkait kewirausahaan yang termasuk tinggi dan muncul niat berwirausaha pada mayoritas peserta. Diharapkan akan ditambahkan lagi pengajaran dan pendampingan agar kegiatan ini lebih aplikatif bagi anak-anak dan lingkungan. It has been shown that many orphanage residents have little access to opportunities for skill development. Not all orphanages work to encourage the children's creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Hence, in order to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit, we need a program that may help boost creativity and knowledge about entrepreneurship. With the help of this community service project, orphanage kids will learn how to make flannel flowers and how to sell them. Six days of this activity were divided into two sub-activities: instruction in producing flannel flowers and training in entrepreneurship, which included materials for business marketing. Workshops and tutoring are the main training options for making flannel flowers. Lecture is used in entrepreneurship training. Case studies, lecture techniques, and brainstorming are all used in entrepreneurship training. According to the activity's findings, most participants had the goal to start their own business and had a high level of entrepreneurial expertise. It is hoped that further instruction and mentoring would be added to make this activity more applicable to kids and the environment.

Abstract

The use of media affects how college students interact with lecturers, including the tendency of students to be more active in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between the type of media and the online disinhibition effect in the online lecture process. Data were obtained from 616 respondents who filled out online questionnaires and used Kendall’s tau analysis to test the research questions. The results of the analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between the type of media and the level of online disinhibition effect (rτ equals .02, p equals .56). This is because the closeness of the interaction in the online class that occurs is able to match the interaction in the offline class and everyone in the class already knows each other, so that whatever media used is not related to the level of online disinhibition effect.

Abstract

Group and community intervention is applied course of social psychology. Several studies show the use of modified problem-based learning and team-based learning methods is effective to achieve the objectives of applied courses. This study aimed to see the effectivity of applying modified problem-based learning and team-based learning methods on group and community intervention course material in increasing students’ understanding. One-group pre test – post test experimental research design was used to conduct this study. The subjects were students who take group and community intervention courses. Data is taken from quiz score given before and after the intervention. The results of the analysis using one-way ANOVA repeated measure with sphericity assumed shows the average student understanding statistically increased between the time of measurement F (2,32) = 127,067, p .000<.005. Thus, it is proven that students' understanding of student subject matter significantly increased.

Abstract

Seiring bertambahnya usia lansia menyebabkan fungsi organ tubuh menurun sehingga mereka lebih rentan terkena penyakit seperti penyakit jantung, hipertensi, diabetes melitus, dan lain-lain. Salah satu terapi non farmakologi yang dapat dilakukan adalam senam lansia. Manfaat yang diterapkan dari senam lansia dapat meningkatkan komponen kebugaran kardio-respirasi, yaitu peningkatan efisiensi jantung, paru, dan sistem dalam pembuluh darah dalam mengirimkan oksigen ke seluruh paru-paru. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan persepsi dan antusias lansia terhadap aktivitas fisik yaitu senam lansia. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah kader lansia dan peserta posyandu lansia RW 04 Candirenggo. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu edukasi dan pendampingan pelaksanaan senam lansia selama tiga bulan serta wawancara persepsi lansia. Hasil yang didapat bahwa antusias dan persepsi lansia meningkat dengan adanya pendampingan senam lansia di Posyandu Lansia, sehingga harapan kedepannya dapat terus dilaksanakan minimal setiap sebulan sekali. Kata kunci— Lansia, Posyandu Lansia, Senam Lansia, Hipertensi Abstract As the elderly get older, the function of their organs decreases susceptibility to diseases such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and others. Either the non-pharmacological therapies that can perform in gymnastics for the elderly. The benefits applied from elderly gymnastics can improve the components of cardio-respiratory fitness. The purpose of this community service is to increase the perception and enthusiasm of the elderly towards physical activity, namely elderly exercise. The targets of this activity are elderly cadres and participants in the elderly Posyandu RW 04 Candirenggo. The method used is education and assistance in the implementation of elderly gymnastics for three months and interviewing the perceptions of the elderly. The results obtained are that the enthusiasm and perceptions of the elderly have increased with the assistance of elderly gymnastics at the Elderly Posyandu so that future expectations can continue to be carried out at least once a month. Keywords— Elderly, Elderly Integrated Health Post, Elderly Gymnastics, Hypertension

Abstract

Pendamping Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) adalah pekerja sosial yang mendampingi Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) PKH dalam menerima bantuan. Dalam pelaksanaannya pendamping PKH memiliki banyak resiko terkena burnout karena beban pekerjaan yang berlebih, diantaranya tidak sesuainya tugas pokok yang harus dikerjakan, jarak tempuh antara tempat kerja dan tempat tinggal, serta banyaknya KPM yang harus didampingi. Burnout adalah kondisi stres kronis dimana pekerja merasa lelah secara fisik, mental, dan emosional yang diakibatkan pekerjaannya. Mindfulness adalah sebuah teknik meditasi yang dapat mengurangi burnout. Pelatihan mindfulness ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi burn out pada pendamping PKH di Kota Malang. Pelatihan terdiri dari 8 sesi yang terdiri dari: 1) perkenalan & gambaran singkat mindfulness; 2) meditasi pernapasan; 3) menyadari sensasi tubuh; 4) penghargaan; 5) membuka kesadaran dan menerima perasaan; 6) membebaskan diri dari hasrat; 7) menerapkan mindfulness dan 8) penutup. Pre-test dan Post-test dilakukan untuk mengukur keberhasilan pelatihan menggunakan alat ukur Maslach  Burnout Inventory-Human-Services Survey (MBI-HSS). Hasil pre-test menunjukkan skor rata-rata 56, yang menunjukkan bahwa burnout pada pendamping PKH berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil post-test dari pelatihan mindfulness ini menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor burnout rata-rata sebesar 8.5 sehingga dapat disimpulkan pelatihan mindfulness berhasil mengurangi burn out pada pendamping PKH Kota Malang. Mindfulness perlu diterapkan lebih lama untuk mendapatkan skor yang lebih baik lagi dalam mengurangi burnout. Diharapkan dengan berkurangnya burnout pada pendamping PKH maka akan dapat meningkatkan kinerja para pendamping PKH dalam mendampingi KPM PKH
