Abstract

The condition of research productivity in higher education institutions in Indonesia is still not ideal. Departing from this problem, this paper aims to contribute in the form of a framework used as the main alternative in optimizing research productivity, including the number of publications in higher education institutions. The mechanism proposed is a framework that uses designs derived from games or better known as gamification. Based on the preliminary testing of the proposed framework, it shows that each construct of the framework has a positive impact on research productivity enhancement as the final goal. One of the constructs is Network has a positive impact of 0.415 on Behavior, the Behavior has a positive impact of 0.403 on research productivity enhancement. This also applies to other constructs. Except for the Points that donot have good reliability, it will become homework in future studies.

Abstract

Failed in the harvest should be avoided by the owners of broiler farms. Various ways are done to make the harvest successful and make a profit. Preparations made before the period of broiler development can be done optimally, with the hope that the harvest is successful. But the problem, on the field in fact not as smooth as had been planned at the beginning or before the development period. There is always a lack or inappropriate so that the harvest is not optimal or even harvest failure. Based on the background that has been described, we tried to create a toolkit that can be used to calculate success rate of the broiler harvest. With this toolkit, broiler farm owners are expected to have a guide and can make the right move in the period of broiler development. To calculate the success rate of broiler harvest, we used a model based on the performance index calculation. Toolkit that created running on local network environment using an Apache web server. The Toolkit uses JavaScript library to display the calculation results in the form of charts that are easier to understand. Based on the results of testing that has been done, this toolkit can perform calculations in a relatively short time. Can present the results of calculations with accurate information. The accuracy of success rate calculation toolkit reached 90%. It is obtained by comparing the performance index and the total weight of broiler that obtained when harvested.

Abstract

In this article, we try to design the architecture of a smart notification system using an Android gadget for academic notification in college. Academic notification in colleges now utilizes bulletin boards and online media such as websites or social media. The problem faced is the high cost and resources required to deliver the academic notification. Another problem is whether the information delivered can be right to the students who need it. We proposed the architecture of a smart notification system that can reduce the cost, and the information delivered can be right on target to the students in need.

Abstract

In this study we discuss how to handle DDoS attack that coming from the attacker by using detection method and handling mechanism. Detection perform by comparing number of packets and number of flow. Whereas handling mechanism perform by limiting or drop the packets that detected as a DDoS attack. The study begins with simulation on real network, which aims to get the real traffic data. Then, dump traffic data obtained from the simulation used for detection method on our prototype system called DASHM (DDoS Attack Simulation and Handling Mechanism). From the result of experiment that has been conducted, the proposed method successfully detect DDoS attack and handle the incoming packet sent by attacker.

Abstract

Batik is a fabric or clothes that are made ​​with a special staining technique called wax-resist dyeing and is one of the cultural heritage which has high artistic value. In order to improve the efficiency and give better semantic to the image, some researchers apply clustering algorithm for managing images before they can be retrieved. Image clustering is a process of grouping images based on their similarity. In this paper we attempt to provide an alternative method of grouping batik image using fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm based on log-average luminance of the batik. FCM clustering algorithm is an algorithm that works using fuzzy models that allow all data from all cluster members are formed with different degrees of membership between 0 and 1. Log-average luminance (LAL) is the average value of the lighting in an image. We can compare different image lighting from one image to another using LAL. From the experiments that have been made, it can be concluded that fuzzy c-means algorithm can be used for batik image clustering based on log-average luminance of each image possessed.

Abstract

Perkembangan dibidang teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan membuat organisasi harus semakin peka dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya yang dimilikinya. Oleh karena itu untuk menyikapi fenomena tersebut perlu adanya tindaklanjut dari organisasi sebagai upaya agar kemampuan yang dimiliki karyawannya tidak statis akan tetapi berkembang secara dinamis. Salah satunya yaitu dengan adanya Pengenalan teknologi berbasis web untuk mendukung usaha penjualan tanah kavlingan di Kelurahan Muara Dua Kota Prabumulih. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menjelaskan tentang manfaat penggunaan teknologi berbasis Web untuk mendukung usaha penjualan tanah kavlingan. Abstract

Perkembangan dibidang teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan membuat sektor usah harus semakin peka dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya yang dimilikinya. Oleh karena itu untuk menyikapi fenomena tersebut perlu adanya tindak lanjut dari perusahaan sebagai upaya agar kemampuan yang dimiliki karyawannya tidak statis akan tetapi berkembang secara dinamis. Salah satunya dengan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berupa aplikasi berbasis web. Langkah awal pemanfaatan teknologi informasi ini bisa dimulai denganpemberian pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi kepada para karyawan suatu perusahaan. Adapun yang menjadi tempat pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sektor usaha kecil dan menengah yaitu perusahaan air bersih di Kelurahan Muara Dua Kota Prabumulih.Kegiatan pelatihan ini menjelaskan tentang manfaat penggunaan aplikasi pengolahan data berbasis web pada bidang usaha air bersih. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada para pekerja pada usaha air bersih di Kelurahan Muara Dua Kota Prabumulih tentang pemanfaatanaplikasi pengolahan data berbasis web untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi pengolahan air bersih.Berdasarkan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan, para pekerja sangat antusias dan tertarik untuk segera memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Abstract

In this study, we tried to design a system of retention and control on broiler farms in Prabumulih based on the data flow between processes, external entity and data storage. The purpose of this study was to find the best design that can be immediately implemented in the form of information systems. The design submitted is expected to accelerate the process that occurs between entities connected. Minimizing the possibility of error, which in turn can increase the production of broiler when the harvest is done.
