Abstract

In this article, we try to present some optimization algorithms that are often used by researchers. Through the information contained in this article, the reader can know and understand the development and mechanism of optimization algorithms. The algorithms presented in this article include particle swarm optimization algorithm and firefly algorithm. We chose the swarm particles optimization algorithm and the firefly algorithm to discuss because both of these algorithms are widely used for various optimization problems. Both algorithms, particle optimization algorithms as well as the newer firefly algorithms, are well known today among researchers Furthermore, after knowing the mechanism and the difference of each optimization algorithm, it is expected the reader can choose the algorithm to be used as needed.

Abstract

In this study, we tried to propose a method to assess the success of the harvest broiler using internal factors found on farms in Prabumulih. To be able to measure the success rate of harvest broiler, we use the Performance Index (PI) as a parameter. By looking at the results of measuring the degree of success of the crop expected broiler breeder who owns the farm, especially in Prabumulih, can better utilize and maximize the potential that can increase crop yields. After going through a testing phase, the percentage of harvest success rate reached 90% when the results of calculation of the value of PI reached the high category. This proves that by looking at the value of PI, farmers, especially in the farm group in Prabumulih can predict the success rate of harvest in a period. By calculating the value of PI and learn all variables breeders can develop appropriate measures to avoid the occurrence of crop failure. With reference to the value of PI, farmers can also make better planning in preparing the development of broiler chickens for the next period.Key words :success rate, Performance Index, Broiler

Abstract

Exploration web is the means used to obtain information on a web page specifically related to security issues. In this research, exploratory simulation tool W3AF danWebGoat.W3AF web use is short for Web Application Attack and Audit Framework. The objective of this application is as a framework to find the weakness of web applications. While Web Goat is a web page that is targeted for exploration on the environment localhost. Simulation gives positive results of various web pages of information targeted exploration. Among the security loopholes that can be used as roads by the cracker to commit an illegal act. Alternative solutions provided in order to close the security gap, so as to minimize the risk r a crime that may occur.Key words : web exploration, W3AF, webgoat

Abstract

This article contains results of design management information system broiler farms that have been done by researchers. The design of management information system is done based on the data flow and entity contained in the broiler farm that serves as the object of research. The design of management information system begins with the concept of database and data flow diagram. Database concept is used to know the database structure used by broiler farm management information system as a whole. While the data flow diagram used to describe all the processes involved in broiler farm management. The results of the design conducted by researchers can be used for the development stage of broiler farm management information system.    Key words : Database, Data flow diagram, Management information system, Broiler farm.

Abstract

Good air quality is something that is wanted by every human who lives in big cities. Clean air and no pollution is one of the proper environmental requirements. One of the most severe causes of air pollution is due to large-scale forest fires due to the long dry season or is carried out by irresponsible persons which they commonly refer to as land clearing in an easy and inexpensive way by utilizing the reason of the dry season. The purpose of this study is to classify air quality in Palembang using a data mining approach. Then use the results of the classification as an indicator of the level of air quality in the city of Palembang. The data mining approach that researchers use is the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Based on the test results of K-NN calculations and measured using a confusion matrix produce an accuracy of 80 percent, 82.3 percent for precision, and 93.3 percent for recall. The measurement results show that the calculation using the K-NN algorithm can be used as an indicator in measuring air quality, of the 20 that have been trained and tested only 4 inaccurate data, this inaccuracy occurs because the source data has unbalanced classes such as unhealthy and very unhealthy healthy have 1 sample each. So it proves that the performance of classifiers using the K-NN algorithm relevant as an indicator of air quality levels in the city of Palembang.

Abstract

Optimasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi (IT) dibutuhkan pelaku usaha untuk pemulihan ekonomi pasca pandemi COVID-19. Melalui kegiatan ini diberikan materi penggunaan tool berbasis IT untuk promosi dan pemasaran produk pempek pada media sosial seperti Instagram atau Facebook. Dengan penggunaan tool berbasis IT ini dapat menarik minat calon konsumen untuk membeli produk yang ditawarkan, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan perekonomian pelaku usaha pempek di Kelurahan Talang Jambe. Berdasarkan feedback yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini dapat diketahui peserta dengan rentang usia 15-30 tahun adalah yang paling memahami, ingin menerapkan, dan berkeinginan untuk mencoba (sebanyak 100 persen) materi optimasi promosi dan pemasaran produk pempek yang telah disampaikan. Sedangkan peserta pada rentang usia 0-15 tahun dan diatas 30 tahun relatif moderat, dalam arti sebahagian memahami dan sebagian lainnya kurang memahami/tidak ingin menerapkan ilmu yang telah diperoleh dari kegiatan ini. Harapan penulis semoga kegiatan ini dapat berlanjut dimasa mendatang, dan dapat diikuti oleh peserta dengan jumlah yang lebih banyak sehingga proses pemulihan ekonomi pasca pancemi COVID-19 dapat dilakukan lebih cepat.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has increased inflation and poverty rates in many cities, thus requiring considerable attention from the government as a policymaker. Therefore, this study aims to cluster regencies/cities that need mitigation priorities from the Indonesian government based on inflation and poverty rates in 2021. Four machine learning methods, namely k-Means (KM), Partitioning around medoids (PAM), Ward, and Divisive analysis (Diana) are utilized and compared to achieve that purpose. Clustering 90 regencies/cities in Indonesia produced five optimal clusters. Furthermore, the clustering results were validated using the Silhouette width (SW) and Dunn index (DI). The results showed that the k-means method produced the most compact cluster. Hence, this study's results can be utilized as a reference for the government in determining the steps and priorities of economic policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

In this study, the author wants to prove the combination of feature importance and support vector machine relevant to detecting distributed denial-of-service attacks. A distributed denial-of-service attack is a very dangerous type of attack because it causes enormous losses to the victim server. The study begins with determining network traffic features, followed by collecting datasets. The author uses 1000 randomly selected network traffic datasets for the purposes of feature selection and modeling. In the next stage, feature importance is used to select relevant features as modeling inputs based on support vector machine algorithms. The modeling results were evaluated using a confusion matrix table. Based on the evaluation using the confusion matrix, the score for the recall is 93 percent, precision is 95 percent, and accuracy is 92 percent. The author also compares the proposed method to several other methods. The comparison results show the performance of the proposed method is at a fairly good level in detecting distributed denial-of-service attacks. We realized this result was influenced by many factors, so further studies are needed in the future.

Abstract

Museum SMBII memiliki fungsi menyimpan, memelihara, memamerkan koleksi benda bersejarah dan budaya Palembang untuk tujuan rekreasi maupun edukasi yang dimanfaatkan seluas-luasnya bagi masyarakat khususnya kota Palembang. Namun, saat pandemi COVID-19 melanda dunia, kebijakan pemerintah daerah Palembang menetapkan museum SMBII untuk menerapkan kebijakan yang disesuaikan dengan situasi pandemi. Museum terpaksa tutup dan membatasi akses bagi aktivitas fisik di museum.  Pengelola museum SMBII telah menyediakan aplikasi untuk memudahkan masyarakat mengakses museum secara virtual. Untuk lebih memperkenalkan aplikasi tersebut, kegiatan pengenalan pemanfaatan aplikasi virtual tour 360 museum SMBII dilaksanakan dengan peserta pelajar atau mahasiswa yang merupakan kategori pengunjung dominan dari museum SMBII Palembang sebelum pandemi. Peserta dikenalkan fungsionalitas dan cara pemanfaatan tiap fitur aplikasi. Peserta diminta menggunakan aplikasi dan mengisi kuesioner evaluasi tingkat penerimaan peserta terhadap aplikasi. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan peserta rata-rata meningkat dan aplikasi virtual tour 360 mudah digunakan serta meningkatkan minat peserta untuk jelajah wisata budaya Palembang

Abstract

Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi komputer di era modern saat ini adalah untuk pembelajaran ilustrasi digital. Melalui kegiatan Pelayanan kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini penulis ingin berbagi pengetahuan mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi komputer sebagai media pembelajaran ilustrasi digital untuk siswa-siswa Raudhatul Athfal pada Ma’had di Kelurahan Talang Jambe, Kota Palembang. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah menumbuhkan minat siswa Raudhatul Athfal untuk mencoba teknologi berbasis komputer sebagai media pembuatan ilustrasi digital. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini terdiri dari dua tahap, pertama, pemaparan cara pembuatan ilustrasi digital kepada para siswa. Kedua, membimbing para siswa untuk mencoba langsung pembuatan ilustrasi digital menggunakan perangkat komputer yang telah disediakan tim PkM. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini memperlihatkan besarnya minat para siswa yang tertarik untuk membuat ilustrasi digital yaitu sebesar 75 persen. Adapun persentase jumlah siswa yang ingin mencoba langsung adalah sebesar 75 persen. Sedangkan jumlah siswa yang tidak tahu atau tidak memberi tanggapan hanya sebesar 25 persen. Berdasarkan feedback hasil kegiatan PkM ini dapat dilihat secara keseluruan siswa Raudhatul Athfal memiliki ketertarikan yang besar untuk mencoba dan menggunakan teknologi berbasis komputer sebagai media pembuatan ilustrasi digital. Utilization of Computer Technology for Digital Illustration Learning for Raudhatul Athfal Students in Palembang City  One of the uses of computer technology in the modern era is for learning digital illustrations. Through this Community Service (PkM) activity, the author wants to share knowledge about the use of computer technology as a digital illustration learning medium for Raudhatul Athfal students at Ma'had in Talang Jambe Village, Palembang City. The goal to be achieved of this PkM activity is to foster the interest of Raudhatul Athfal students to try computer-based technology as a medium for making digital illustrations. The method for implementing this PkM activity consists of two stages, first, explaining how to make digital illustrations to students, second, guiding students to try directly making digital illustrations using computer apps that have been provided by the PkM team. The results of this PkM activity show the high interest of students who are interested in making digital illustrations, namely 75 percent. The percentage of students who want to try directly is 75 percent. Meanwhile, the number of students who did not know or did not respond was only 25 percent. Based on the feedback on the results of this PkM activity, it shows that as a whole Raudhatul Athfal's students have a great interest in trying and using computer-based technology as a medium for making digital illustrations.
