Abstract

Blended learning is a learning model that combines face-to-face and online learning by utilizing a variety of media and technology to support independent learning and provide student learning experiences. The blended learning model is relevant to the learning system during the Covid-19 period, but in Indonesia, especially elementary schools, there are still few that implement it. This study aims to describe the implementation of the blended learning model and its effect on students so that elementary school teachers are interested in implementing the blended learning model in their schools, especially in social studies subject matter. The method used is a systematic literature review through three stages, including collection, reduction, and article review. The results show that the blended learning model can be used as an alternative social studies learning model during the covid-19 pandemic. Blended learning can be applied in elementary schools by offline or hybrid learning using various online platforms.

Abstract

The purpose of this action research is to know the process of implementing multi-platform assisted learning to improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth-grade students at SDN Siraman III. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. The time research was out from January 2021 to March 2021. The research location was at SDN Siraman III. The research subjects were 17 students of class V, consisting of L: 9 and P: 8. The object of the research was the result of social studies learning. The methodology used in this research is Classroom Action Research on improving social studies learning outcomes assisted by multi-platform. The steps of this Classroom Action Research include planning, action, observation, and reflection. The implementation consists of 2 cycles of measure. The obstacles in implementing this multi-platform assisted learning are signal difficulties and limited communication tools. Signal troublesome can get over by finding a place where the signal coverage is stronger. The limitations of communication tools in carrying out the task are apt a separate grace period. Multi-platform assisted learning with google meet, google classroom, and WhatsApp groups can accept by students. The proof is that response students are best, very enthusiastic in participating in online learning so that learning outcomes increase. This study concludes that multi-platform assisted learning can improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth graders at SDN Siraman III. It is proven by an increase in learning outcomes in cycle 1 with an average of 68.71%, best denomination, increased to 90.06% in cycle 2 with a very best denomination.

Abstract

Social studies learning with broad material tends to be boring. The use of map cards is expected to increase motivation and social studies learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the increase in motivation and social studies learning outcomes in fourth grade students at SDN Ketangi. This research is a classroom action research, data collected through tests and observations. The subjects of this study were elementary school students grade IV SDN Ketangi as many as 22 students. The research instrument was a test sheet and an observation sheet. The results showed that the use of map cards increased students' learning motivation in participating in social studies lessons, it was seen that the high category was achieved by 20 students (90%) and the medium category was only 2 students (10%). The average student motivation in social studies learning reached 82%. Learning outcomes or student achievement have increased from the average class 53 to 80.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology today causes the flow of information to be fast and without limits. This allows all parties to obtain information quickly, easily, and abundantly from various sources and places where they are located. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interactive learning media on increasing students' motivation and learning outcomes on the content of Social Sciences (IPS) lessons and so that teachers can learn more concrete information that is abstract. This study used an experimental method, carried out in class V SD Negeri 1 Kutoarjo, and the sample was taken as many as 38 students. The results showed an increase in learning motivation of 0.74 with high interpretation, critical thinking ability of 0.72 with high interpretation, and student learning outcomes of 0.35 with medium category. The application of interactive learning media can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth graders at SD Negeri 1 Kutoarjo for Social Studies Lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to increase learning activity and independence in social studies learning through live worksheet learning media for class VII A students in junior high school. This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects are students of class VII A in junior high school. This research will be carried out in two cycles, the first cycle consists of two meetings and the second cycle consists of two meetings. At the end of each cycle an evaluation is carried out. Data collection in this action research is done by observation, documentation and learning outcomes tests. True learning throughout the life of students, one of which is indicated by an attitude of activeness, independence in learning and an increase in learning outcomes. The activeness of students when learning is all learning activities that involve students, both physical and non-physical in the learning process that can encourage students to be more critical, express opinions in discussions, ask questions, and be able to solve a given problem. Independence is an attempt to break away from parents with the intention of finding oneself through the process of seeking ego identity, which is a development towards a stable and independent individuality. Based on the conclusion, there is an increase in learning activity and independence in social studies learning through live worksheet learning media for class VII A students in junior high school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits of gadgets in learning during a pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research method is literature and literature study. The results of this study show that the use of gadgets in online learning has benefits in the world of education during the pandemic. The positive impact of children being able to interact with friends wherever they are, being able to learn online in a pandemic situation, while the negative impact of children is more often playing gadgets than playing with the environment so that children will become individualists. The teacher's role in learning during the pandemic is to design and implement android-based learning, supported by the role of parents of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement of teacher learning innovation in SD BOPKRI Wonosari through the application of the Fun School Movement. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The time of research was carried out in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research site is at SD BOPKRI Wonosari. The subject of the study was a class teacher with a total of 6 teachers. The object of the research is the improvement of teacher learning innovation in the content of social studies lessons. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. Learning innovations carried out by teachers can facilitate learning, encourage active and creative students to foster students' enthusiasm for learning, achieve learning goals, and ultimately improve student learning achievements. The results of this study can be concluded that the Fun School Movement can increase the innovation of learning social studies content for teachers at SD BOPKRI Wonosari in creating a positive learning environment, comfortable and fun learning atmosphere for students, and teachers themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning achievement with the Science Technology Society model for Class VIII B students at Trisula Ngluwar Middle School, Magelang Regency. This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects are students of class VIII B SMP Trisula Ngluwar totaling 22 students consisting of 14 male students and 8 female students. This research was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle consisted of two meetings and the second cycle consisted of two meetings. At the end of each cycle an evaluation is carried out. Data collection techniques using observation, evaluation of learning achievement results and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the learning achievement of class VIII B SMP Trisula Ngluwar in social studies learning could be improved by using the Science Technology Society model. Social studies learning achievement during the pre-cycle students obtained an average of 53.11 with a percentage of 36.36% as many as 8 students got the minimum KKM score and 14 students still did not reach the KKM. It increased in the first cycle of student achievement to an average of 70.13 with a percentage of 59.09% as many as 13 students got the minimum KKM score and 9 children still did not reach the KKM. Increased in the second cycle of student achievement to an average of 78.13 with a percentage of 86.36% as many as 19 students get a minimum score of KKM and 3 students who have not reached the KKM.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observational data which shows that the results of observations and the acquisition of social studies learning outcomes are low. Student creativity in social studies learning is channeled as it should be. The average value of social studies learning outcomes has not reached the KKM. One of the efforts to overcome this is by applying a problem-based learning model. This study aims to determine the application of the Project-Based Learning model in increasing creativity and learning outcomes of social studies lessons for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Melikan. The methodology used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects were 11 students from the fourth-level SD Negeri Melikan. Data were collected utilizing observation, document analysis, and tests. The data analysis used is a descriptive analysis technique with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research process is carried out in two cycles and each cycle includes four stages, namely 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The results show that creativity and learning outcomes can be increased through the Project-Based Learning model. Students with creativity good category from pre-cycle 5 students (45.45%) to 7 students (63.63%) in the first cycle and 10 students (90.9%) in the second cycle. Social studies learning outcomes increased from the average an average of 68.64 in the pre-cycle to an average of 74.54 in the first cycle and an average of 80.9 in the second cycle. This study concludes that the application of the Project-Based Learning Model can improve creativity and learning outcomes for social studies lessons for grade IV at SDN Melikan Rongkop Gunungkidul in the 2021/2022 academic year.
