Abstract

This study aims to 1) Describe the characteristics of the merchants of the market in the setono betek kediri which includes age, education level, family burden and work experience dependent on the access of capital to develop their business, 2) to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of the merchant of the market in the setono betek kediri towards their capital access to develop their business .The population in this study were vegetables and food street vendors, amounting to 120 traders. The number of samples used was 55 respondents with sampling technique using Slovin formula. The analysis used is Chi Square is to see the relationship between traders characteristics with access to their capital in developing their business. The results showed that the age of traders has a relationship to access capital, this is evidenced by the value of perason chi square 0.000 <0.05. The level of education of traders is also associated with capital kases with pearson chi square value 0.001 <0.05. The number of dependents of family burden is related to access to capital with pearson chi square value 0.001 <0.05. The work experience of traders is related to their capital access in developing the business with pearson chi square value 0.005 <0.05.Key words : Age, education level, family burden, work experience, street vendors

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the welfare of the society through the “productive blessings from waste” program in Titik Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency. The method of implementing this service is carried out starting from a survey of waste conditions, socialization of waste processing methods, waste craft training and waste craft marketing training. As a result, the survey found a lack of public awareness of waste, socialization was held to increase knowledge accompanied by training in sorting and making handicrafts according to types of waste, training people to marketing these products. In conclusion, an increasing number of residents are willing to sort waste. PKM partners are able to process various types of waste into economical products and having sale value. The emergence of the enthusiasm of the residents shows that the future of waste craft marketing practices can improve society welfare.

Abstract

The company's competition not only focuses on the marketing mix but must exist to show the formulation of strategic innovations. Mak Plengeh's dry cake is a superior product of UD Wahyu Jaya Kediri; appropriately apply segmenting, targeting, and positioning (STP) strategies to maintain mind share. This study aims to determine the performance of STP to keep the mind share of Mak Plengeh dried sponge products. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach. They collect data through observation, interviews, and documentation. They checked the validity of research findings using source triangulation. The results: (1) Segmenting includes: Kediri and Surabaya, aged 5-70 years, both male and female, alpha generation to baby boomers, the lower middle class, consumptive, like snacks, consumed by individuals and various events, consumers feel satisfied and make repeat purchases, teenagers order online while adults go offline (2) Targeting, distributors and packaging are a relatively large and profitable market segment, recruiting office employees who have skills, while the production department is inexperienced, the smiling character is a power of differentiation, the company provides training, briefings, and routine performance evaluations, consistently innovate its products, has a large production volume, provides good service, and is consistent with quality. (3) Positioning by providing testers, licensing information, and materials used so products can be purchased anywhere and responsive to the market.
