Abstract

Porang  (Amorphophallus Oncophyllus) has long been known to the public, especially in the Magelang region. Porang contain very high glucomannan. Glucomannan is a water soluble fiber that is strong and low caloric hydrocolloid which is widely used food industry (noodle, tofu / konyaku, meatball, jely, artificial rice) and non food (cosmetics, capsules). Semarang State Polytechnic Hi-link Program in cooperation with the Magelang City Agriculture Office covers the cultivation, processing, and utilization of porang. Processing starts from tuber harvest, washed, chopped, dried, dipped. The washing process was initially done manually and simply with a brush and water spray so that the laundry was less clean and long-time. The purpose of this research is to design a porang bulb washer with motor gasoline drive to improve clean washing result and number of porang bulbs. The method used approach with of R & D (research & development) is to describe the current condition (exsiting), analyzing deficiencies, and improve performance for the better. Design stage starts from designing, manufacturing, and performance testing. The results obtained were porang washing machine driven by gasoline engine with power 10 HP, length dimension 1800 (mm), width 1200 (mm), and height 1200 (mm). The result of clean washing test with brush length 35 (cm), rotation of rotor 50 (rpm) and washing capacity of porang 1400 (kg / hour). The capacity of washing porang  1400 (kg / hour) is greater than washing manually, and the washing results are clean than more.

Abstract

Pengembangan batik cap perlu didorong untuk bersaing dengan batik printing dari luar negeri agar menjamin penghidupan para pengrajin cating batik cap dan pembatik serta pelestarian warisan budaya dan seni batik yang telah diakui dunia. Upaya strategis yang perlu dilakukan adalah inovasi teknik pembuatan canting batik cap dan alternatif  bahan utama pembuatan canting batik cap. Bahan alternatif pembuatan canting batik cap telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahawa bahan acrylic, kayu (jati), dan baja.dapat direkomendasikan sebagai bahan alternatif pembuatan canting batik cap dengan cara pembuatan menggunakan mesin CNC milling. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create a design system for purchasing raw material information at CV Media Karya to facilitate the management of purchases. This study uses primary data and secondary data in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and literature. This raw material purchasing system is made using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 while database storage uses Microsoft Access and Crystal Report 8.5 to generate reports. The development method used is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). This raw material purchasing system application can overcome the problems found in CV Media's work on the raw material purchasing system and can provide a reminder of the stock in the use of raw materials. Input data in this application are supplier data, material type data, initial inventory balance, purchase and use of raw materials. This application generates purchase reports, supplier data reports, debt data reports, raw material reports and inventory mutation reports.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the most numerous forms of business in Indonesia. This creates high competition among business actors. The conditions of Covid-19 pandemic are increasing the business competition with restriction on community activities including restriction towards business activites set by the government. Many business fields such as food, beverage, and creative industries are affected by this circumstance. MSME actors are trying to survive the business in the midst of a pandemic. Digital marketing is a form of marketing effort by MSMEs so that they can still operate their business. The role of digital marketing is not only to market produts, but also as a means of communicating with customers, disseminating information, and providing convenience for transactions. The purpose of this research is to analyze digital marketing adoption by MSMEs in the era of Covid-19 pandemin in Indonesia. The approach applied in this research is the Technology Organization Environment (TOE) model with quantitative research method. The total of 244 MSMEs are the respondents in this research. The results of this study show that the context of technology, organization and environment has a positive effect on digital marketing adoption by MSMEs in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Proses pengeringan gitar pada produksi gitar di Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) masih menggunakan cara manual seperti mengeringkan di luar ruangan, hal ini tentu akan memperlambat proses produksi karena masih mengandallkan bantuan sinar matahari dan udara. Proses pengeringan gitar yang baik memiliki peran penting khususnya dari segi estetika dalam pembuatan gitar. Kualitas permukaan gitar diharapkan memiliki tingkat kehalusan yang baik dan tanpa debu. Oleh karena itu, metode pengeringan gitar yang baik sangat diperlukan oleh UMKM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan menganalisa sistem overhead chain conveyor untuk pengeringan gitar dengan penggerak motor listrik 1 HP. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menangani permasalahan pengeringan gitar agar efektif dan meminimalisir adanya debu pada permukaan gitar. Alat bantu pengeringan gitar ini menggunakan kendali forward reverse untuk sistem kendalinya dengan penggerak motor induksi. Pada hasil, analisa dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan pengujian terhadap efisien waktu proses pengeringan gitar. Pada penelitian ini, diperoleh waktu pengeringan tercepat pada 40 menit. Hal ini mampu memangkas waktu 15 menit dari metode pengeringan yang ada sebelumnya. Cepatnya waktu pengeringan ini tentu akan mendorong produktivitas pada UMKM.
