Abstract

This paper examines lecturers' perceptions of the project-based learning model and assessment on the teaching of English Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Malikussaleh University. Project-based Learning (PBL) is one of the Merdeka Belajar priority program plans in 2021 which is part of the Kampus Merdeka plan by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Higher Education. Projects in education are one of the assessment instruments used to assess not only learning outcomes but also student learning processes. Students are required to not only learn to understand the material but also learn how to apply knowledge in group work and produce relevant products. The purpose of developing a project-based learning model for accounting students studying English for specific purpose (ESP) is so that they can apply English knowledge to their field of expertise, namely accounting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the entrepreneurial potential of Acehnese women in supporting halal tourism in Lhokseumawe City, to determine the obstacles and success factors of women in entrepreneurship, to know policies for empowering women in entrepreneurship, and to formulate a model for developing Acehnese women's entrepreneurship. This study uses a qualitative method with dialectical analysis. Data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews, confirmation with related figures and agencies, and documentation studies. The results indicate that Lhokseumawe City has great potential for the development of women's entrepreneurship and fostering the quality of entrepreneurship to be more resilient and independent. The inhibiting factors for entrepreneurship are the weak access to funding and the lack of awareness of the local government. The most important factor for entrepreneurial success was the spiritual spirit given by the family, especially their husbands, parents, and spiritual teachers. The involvement of the Lhokseumawe City government, sub-district government, village government, academics, banks, large companies in the tourism object environment, non-governmental institutions/NGOs, and the private sector MSMEs in Lhokseumawe can realize the success of halal tourism in Lhokseumawe. The Lhokseumawe City Government has fully supported Acehnese women's entrepreneurial activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pembiayaan Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah, Inflasi dan Suku bunga terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Periode 2016-2020. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dan diakses melalui website resmi otoritas jasa keuangan dengan data perquarter dari januari 2016 sampai dengan desember 2020. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis VAR (Vector Auto Regression) yakni didukung uji stasioneritas, uji lag optimal, uji stabilitas model VAR, uji kausalitas granger, uji kointegrasi, uji impulse respon function dan uji variance docomposition. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa suku bunga lebih dominan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Hasil uji kausalitas granger menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel memiliki hubungan kausalitas satu sama lain, artinya setiap variabel memiliki hubungan dua arah dengan variabel lainnya. Abstract

This study examines the development of project-based learning model for teaching English for Spesific Purpose (ESP) in Accounting Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Malikussaleh University. The first stage of data was obtained by conducting interviews with lecturers to obtain preliminary data. Interviews were conducted with lecturers in English courses and lecturers in the Accounting study program to get an idea of the appropriate project material. The second stage is the development of a project-based learning model prototype based on the results of interviews. Furthermore, this prototype was validated by two validators, namely material experts and evaluation and assessment experts. The model was revised based on feedback from the validator to create a project-based learning model that was ready to be implemented. The results of this study create a project-based learning model that can be applied by lecturers in teaching English for accounting in higher education.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of Islamic Microfinance Institutions Financing, Inflation, and Interest Rates on Economic Growth during 2016-2020. This study used secondary data taken from the official website of the financial services authority (OJK) with monthly data from January 2016 to December 2020. This quantitative study used VAR (Vector Auto Regression) analysis supported by stationary test, optimal lag test, VAR model stability test, Granger causality test, cointegration test, impulse response function test, and variance decomposition test. The results showed that interest was more dominant in influencing the economic growth of Indonesia in the short and long term, and Granger causality test results showed that all variables had a causal relationship with each other, meaning that each variable had a two-way relationship with the other variables. Future researchers should use more approaches, not only Islamic Microfinance Institutions Financing, Inflation and Interest rates but also income, inclusion, PKR financing, and investment as a determinant of the rate of economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of foreign debt, foreign investment and Government spending on Economic Growth in 5 Asean Countries. The data used in this study is cross-sectiaon data from 2011-2020 obtained from the World Bank. The data is then analyzed using the Panel data regression model. The results of this study show that foreign debt has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in 5 asean countries. Foreign investment has no positive and significant effect. And Government spending has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in 5 Asean countries. The government is advised to carefully manage foreign debt to create positive Economic Growth, Create a conducive Investment climate and increase spending to boost Economic Growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of electronic word-of-mouth, trust, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty among Lhokseumawe City Lazada users. The primary data utilized in this study was collected by giving questionnaires to 140 consumers in Lhokseumawe City who had purchased products using the Lazada application. With the aid of SPSS software version 26, multiple linear regression is the data analysis technique employed. The findings indicated that partial satisfaction, trust, and electronic word-of-mouth had a favorable and significant impact on customer loyalty for Lazada users in Lhokseumawe City.
