Abstract

The use of learning media can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. The solutions offered to partners are; help partners illustrate something abstract in mathematics that requires visualization or animation in writing, especially in the form of images. The methods used for solutions to problems faced by partners and to support the success of the program are in the form of lectures, questions and answers, demonstrations and exercises/practices. Participants who have attended the training will put into practice directly the results of the training they received and create learning media with the guidance of the trainer so that participants can create interactive mathematics learning media using Macromedia Flash, and can develop their work according to their imagination. The results of the implementation of PKM activities were felt by the service team and the training participants were very satisfying. With an indicator of the arrival of participants in each meeting and the enthusiasm of the participants. Abstract

Public junior high school 13 Jayapura did not implement the e-library application in the library, causing difficulties in book management, book borrowing transactions, and students needing assistance to find books in the library. The purpose of this community service activity is to apply science and technology through training in using web-based e-library applications to students of Jayapura 13 public junior high school. Training activities increase students' knowledge, skills, and interest in reading. Implementation of activities includes lectures, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations, practice, and evaluation. The implementation of this community service activity consists of six stages, namely coordination with the school, socialization of the use of the e-library application, training and practice of using the e-library application, evaluation, and preparing reports. The results of this community service activity are that students can operate the e-library application, increase their knowledge and skills in using the e-library application, make it easier to find books in the library and increase their interest in reading through the e-library application.

Abstract

In the education systems, particularly in college, thesis courses are one of the determinants of a student's graduation. However, while working on the thesis, many students are still unable to manage their own thesis files, many factors trigger this to happen, one of which is the number of revisions which causes a loss of enthusiasm in students. This can cause students forget where he/she store the files or accidentally delete their thesis files because they have not been done for a long time. To record the entire history of thesis files, a web-based version control system must be implemented which functions to record the entire history of student thesis files. The web was created using Typescript and Javascript programming languages with the Next.JS and Nest.JS frameworks that run on the Node.JS runtime, for the database using MongoDB. Based on the test results, it is concluded that this system runs well and this system is made very private so that one user cannot enter another user's repository. The system has been tested using black box testing.

Abstract

The low level of student interest and the ability of Papua Abepura Adventist elementary school students in understanding and memorizing English vocabulary requires innovative learning media. The purpose of this research is to develop mobile phone-based English vocabulary learning media applications. English vocabulary learning applications can improve English vocabulary mastery for elementary school students, increase student motivation and interest in learning vocabulary, student-centered learning, trigger student creativity, effectiveness, build student independence in learning vocabulary, and the learning process can be done whenever and wherever students want to learn. This is expected to change the mindset and culture of using mobile phones for elementary school students in Papua so that they can be used properly and efficiently for learning English vocabulary. The application development method uses the waterfall which includes five stages, namely identification of user needs for learning English vocabulary, analysis, design, implementation, and testing

Abstract

One of the problems at GKI Lembah Jordan Congregation is monitoring the security of the church building's environment which is often visited by irresponsible people. This is done to avoid various crimes such as destroying church facilities, scribbling on church walls, stealing church assets, and so on. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training to the multimedia team and church guards at the GKI Lembah Jordan congregation, so they can understand how to use environmental security monitoring of church buildings with Android-based Smart Home Camera C6N technology devices. Abstract

The problem with the Youth Fellowship at GKI I.S Kijne Abepura congregation is that they do not have the skills and abilities to use information technology for digital marketing. The purpose of the Uncen PNBP service in 2022 is to transfer science and technology for PAM at GKI Congregation I.S Kijne Abepura so that they can increase innovation, skills and abilities in conducting digital marketing. Community service activities are carried out using lecture, discussion, question and answer methods, practice, and evaluation. The stages of implementation include planning, conducting training, evaluating activities, and reporting. Abstract

Home automation is an automation technology that manages circuits and electronic equipment in homes, offices, and others. Home automation is a form of Internet of Things (IoT) development that allows communication and control through devices connected to the internet. This study aims to design a Home Automation prototype on lighting devices such as lamps, light sensors to activate lights, and several lights controlled using mobile devices. The research method uses the prototype method, where system development is focused on the results of input from customers who will be evaluated for software development. The stages in this research begin with analyzing device requirements, literature study, system design, hardware design, user interface design testing, and arriving at the results. This research output will be made in the form of a prototype, where all components will be placed based on the layout described in the design. This system can help users control the equipment in the house from anywhere and anytime, including using light sensors to provide input to turn the lights on or off.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada SMP Advent Abepura Papua adalah model pembelajaran yang masih dilakukan secara tradisional yaitu guru menyampaiakan materi pelajaran, memberikan tugas, kuis, mengumpulkan tugas hanya dilakukan di sekolah. Hal ini tidak dapat dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 berdasarkan Surat EdaranKementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan  No. 4 tahun 2020. Apabila ada guru yang berhalangan untuk mengajar maka proses belajar mengajar tidak terlaksana. Penyampaian informasi kepada siswa melalui pemberitahuan langsung dari guru atau siswa melihat informasi pengumuman di sekolah. Solusi permasalahan yaitu penerapanaplikasi e-learningn edmodo untuk pembelajaran online pada SMP Advent Abepura Papua. Penerapan aplikasi elearning berbasis edmodo bermanfaat bagi guru dan siswa karena digunakan sebagai blended learning untuk pembelajaran. Hasil pelaksaan kegiatan pengabdian adalah peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru / siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi e-learning edmodo sebagai media untuk proses belajar mengajar. Penerapan aplikasi elearning edmodo  meliputi pembuatan akun guru, akun siswa, melengkapi profil guru, mebuat kelas virtual di edmodo, melihat kode akses kelas untuk siswa, dan manajemen pengelolaan edmodo seperti memasukkan bahan ajar ke dalam menu library, membuat tugas dan ujian. Kata Kunci : Edmodo, E-learning, SMP Advent Abepura, Aplikasi, Covid-19.
