Abstract

Fotografi telah menjadi salah satu bentuk perkembangan teknologi di era digital ini. Salah satu bentuk penerapan fotografi yaitu fotografi makanan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti merancang street food photography dengan menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada model intruksional IDI (Define, Develop, Evaluate). Data didapatkan dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan research market pada pedagang kaki lima di Batam. Luaran dari proyek ini adalah 27 buah fotografi makanan jajanan kaki lima yang telah disunting menggunakan Adobe Lightroom. Pengembangan fotografi makanan ini diharapkan dapat membantu para pedagang kaki lima dalam meningkatkan omset penjualannya di masa pasca pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

In Batam International University, there has a program which is known as SEPORA (Society Empowerment Program). In this program each team of Student has to create an innovation about Community services in a certain area which has been determined by lecturer. Our mission is to provide the fastest way for citizens of Buliang to create their important documents such as ID Card, Family Card ,Business domicile and other important documents. We started this project by creating a website with the database that connected to each others so the citizens of Buliang can sign up for online queue, so they didn’t have to go to Buliang district office to handle it, they can sign up by fill up the form in the website that we provided and the information will be recorded into Buliang’s database system. We also taught several citizens of Buliang how to access the website and sign up the queue form from their own phone. We hope that our little project here can help to boost Buliang's government performance and can help the citizen of Buliang so they didn’t have to wait to submit their form.

Abstract

Photography has become one of the technology development form in this digital era. One form of the photography is food photography. Food photography is one of business development that has a high standard of selling by using food as its media object. Food industry has actually experienced a quite significant growth, but everything changed when the world being infected by COVID-19. This phenomenon of pandemic is certainly has a bad impact on the small business sector such as street vendors. In this research, author designed a street food photography using the Research and Development method which refers to the IDI (define, develop, evaluate) instructional model. Street food often defined as ready to eat food that sold by street vendors in public place such as parks, field, and public street sidewalks. This food photography design was created based on data that had been collected by author at street vendors in Batam. Data is obtained from observations, interviews and market research. The output of this research is 27 digital image of street food photography which was edited by using Adobe Lightroom. The development of this street food photography is expected to help street vendors to increase their sales turnover during this post-pandemic COVID-19.

Abstract

In Indonesia, accreditation is a one way to determine the quality standard of an educational institution, including universities. People often evaluate the quality of educational institutions based on the accreditation value. So in this study it can be shown that the value of accreditation is directly proportional to the quality of educational institutions. The accreditation process usually carried out within a period of 5 years and must be renewed at least 6 month before the expiration date. In this research, the author used qualitative methods to collect data on accreditation. The collected data from observation and documentation will be used to make a reportage video of the accreditation which will take place at Universitas Internasional Batam. The result of reportage video is available in two languages, English and Indonesian. The reportage video has an elements that are usually found in news videos, such as lower thirds, logos, and others. The reportage video in English has a duration of about 6 minutes 1 second and the reportage video in Indonesian has a duration of about 7 minutes 27 seconds. The reportage video is expected to help the development of universities and provide a legit information to wider community
