Abstract

Health services in hospitals consist of various parts, one of which is nutrition services. The hospital nutrition service program aims to improve the quality of hospital services by providing efficient and integrated nutrition services with other health services. Nutrition services in hospitals are part of supporting health services, namely part of medical therapy. This type of research is a quantitative research with an analytical survey with a cross sectional design which aims to determine the factors that influence inpatient satisfaction with food serving at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. The population in this study were all inpatients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital, which 256 patients were found based on an initial survey conducted in March 2022. The sample in this study were inpatients in the 3D room collected by 30 patients who were taken using the accidental sampling technique. Data collection uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data using a prepared questionnaire while secondary data obtained from the Medical Record section in the form of data on the number of inpatients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. After the data was processed using the chi square test at the 95% confidence level (? = 5%). The basis for decision making with the provision that if the value of p < then H0 is rejected which can be concluded that there is a relationship between the independent and dependent variables. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the factors that influence the level of satisfaction with the presentation of inpatients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital, with an average result of 73.9%, (patients are satisfied

Abstract

Hand washing is an effective measure in preventing the spread of disease in the hospital area. Washing your hands with soap and water will kill 90% of the contaminants on your hands. The act of cleaning hands will reduce the incidence of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the behavior of the patient's family in performing CTPS at the Hamidah 1 and Hamidah 2 Clinics in 2022. This study is a quantitative analytic study. The research design was cross sectional with a sample of 49 people in May 2022. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of knowledge, information media exposure and availability of facilities on the behavior of the patient's family in washing hands with soap with each p value of 0.003; 0.005; 0.004. This research is expected to provide knowledge for Health Workers who work in Hamidah I and Hamidah II Clinics as well as increase knowledge for people who visit Hamidah I and Hamidah II Clinics.

Abstract

Fruits and vegetables are important components that the body needs to get nutritional content, where fruits and vegetables contain lots of vitamins, fiber, complex vegetable and animal proteins which are very useful for our bodies. The benefits of consuming fruits and vegetables apart from maintaining health conditions also prevent various chronic diseases that can be harmful to humans such as heart disease, cancer, obesity and other diseases. Adolescents are the most vulnerable age group in terms of consumption of vegetables and fruit, this habit will have a negative impact on health in the future. University students are a transitional group from adolescence to early adulthood. This research was conducted to look at the behavior of eating fruits and vegetables in college students. The study used cross sectional with a quantitative approach with a total of 64 peopleThe five senses that transmit knowledge to the brain are the eyes. This study aimed to determine the effect of nutrition education through video and leaflets media on fruit and vegetable consumption of changes. This study is one group pre-test post-test with the type of research pre experiment. Respondents are students of Colleges, the number of respondents as many as 64 respondents. Data were collected by questionnaire pre-test and post-test as well as the Food Frequency Questionnaire, and analyzed by Paired Samples T-test and Independent Sample T-test with alternative by Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney.
