Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know style, type, leadership style, and leadership type that most dominant of headmasters of state primary schools, state junior and senior high school in Malang City. Quantitative approach with descriptive exploratory analysis design. Population (136) headmasters of state primary schools, state junior and senior high school in Malang City, sample of random sampling 41 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaire, factor analysis and descriptive. Outcome: (1) 5 types of leadership style, that is democratic, delegative, militaristic/autocratic, exploitative, and consultative, (2) leadership type that is administrative/executive, democratic, populist/nationalistic, charismatic and authoritarian/autocratic, (3) the most dominant democratic style the headmaster answered agree, the delegative style and consultative answer agreed, militaristic/autocratic style and exploitative less agree. (4) administrative/executive type, democratic, charismatic, and authoritarian, the most dominant principal responds agree, and populist/nationalistic type responds less agree.Keyword: leadership style, leadership type, headmasterAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian mengetahui gaya, tipe, gaya kepemimpinan paling dominan, dan tipe kepemimpinan paling dominan kepala sekolah SD, SMP, dan SMA Negeri Kota Malang. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan analisis deskriptif eksploratori. Populasi (136) orang kepala SD, SMP, dan SMA Negeri se-Kota Malang, sampel random sampling 41 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data angket, analisis faktor dan deskriptif. Hasil: (1) gaya kepemimpinan ada 5 macam yaitu demokratik, delegatif, militeristik/otokratis, eksploitatif, dan konsultatif, (2) tipe kepemimpinan yaitu administratif/eksekutif, demokratis, populistik/nasionalistik, karismatik, dan otoriter/otokratis, (3) gaya demokratik paling dominan kepala sekolah menjawab setuju, gaya delegatif dan konsultatif menjawab setuju, gaya militeristik/otokratis) dan eksploitatif kurang setuju, (4) tipe administrative/eksekutif), demokratik, karismatik, dan otoriter yang paling dominan kepala sekolah menjawab setuju, dan tipe populistik/nasionalistik) menjawab kurang setuju.Kata kunci: gaya kepemimpinan, tipe kepemimpinan, kepala sekolah

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at describing the tendency of the type of organizational culture and its impact on leadership effectiveness in elementary school. The design of research was using the research development involving 300 teachers as a sample and was selected purposively and proportional in five districts in Malang. The results showed that some types of organizational culture prevailed school organization including bureaucratic, supportive, innovative, market, adhocratic, and clan types. The entire types deem to be significant influence on the behavior and effectiveness of school leadership including the efforts of the principal in (1) the development of vision, mission, and organizational goals, (2) human resources management, (3) implementation of functions as manager, (4) role of leader, (5) the improvement of professional teacher, and (6) the development of school organizational climate.Keywords: culture, organization, leadership, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kecenderungan tipe budaya organisasi dan pengaruhnya terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan di sekolah dasar. Rancangan penelitiannya menggunakan penelitian pengembangan yang melibatkan 300 orang guru sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara purposive dan proportional dari lima kecamatan di Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menujukkan sejumlah tipe budaya organisasi mewarnai organisasi sekolah meliputi tipe birokratis, supportif, inovatif, market, adhokrasi, dan klan. Kesemua tipe memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku dan efektivitas kepemimpinan sekolah meliputi usaha-usaha kepala sekolah dalam (1) pengembangan visi, misi, dan tujuan organisasi, (2) pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, (3) pelaksanaan fungsi sebagai manajer, (4) pelaksanaan peranan sebagai leader, (5) peningkatan professional guru, dan (6) pengembangan iklim organisasi sekolah.Kata Kunci: budaya, organisasi, kepemimpinan, sekolah dasar

Abstract

This research aims at: 1) mapping university student’s background, 2) expectation university students on future career, 3) finding out the differences of student’s background and expectation. This research uses descriptive comparative method. The population of this research is students of AP FIP UM and MP FIP UNESA. The number of sample is 248 respondents from 743 populations. Data is taken using questionnaire. The results are: 1) most students are from East Java and graduated from Senior High School. The parents’ highest educations are from Senior High School. Parents’ occupation is businessmen. Students’ interest is art. Most parent’s expectation that their children will reach career as public servant (PNS). 2) Students college after graduation, they have expectation to work in the field of education on the staff of the Ministry of National Education. Non-educational field, they have hopes to be an employee of Bank. 3) Based on group variable university, sex, and student year, there are similarities and there are differences. Keywords: mapping students’ background, expectation, future career, entrepreneurship

Abstract

Pada era saat ini penggunaan teknologi dalam bidang apapun sangat diperlukan. Bersikap adaptif dengan cara mengikuti perkembangan zaman dapat terlihat melalui  kegiatan pengarsipan. Pengarsipan yang dulunya menyimpan berkas fisik dan mencatat kodenya secara manual, kini bisa dilakukan dengan menyimpannya dalam bentuk data digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali secara mendalam pengarsipan digital sebagai wujud optimalisasi manajemen audit persuratan di SMP Islam Ma’arif 02 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan wawancara dengan informan kunci yaitu kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengarsipan digital membantu dan memudahkan sekolah dalam melaksanakan manajemen audit persuratan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa kegiatan pengarsipan digital yang baik membutuhkan dukungan sumber daya manusia yang mampu mengoperasikan secara optimal aplikasi pengarsipan digital. Dukungan fasilitas sekolah juga dibutuhkan agar pengarsipan digital berjalan dengan efisien.

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of the study were: to find out the management of school, to find out the implementation of strengthening character education, to find out the obstacles and solutions of school culture management in the implementation of strengthening character education at Al Hasyimiyyah Elementary School and Al Manar Elementary School. The data in this study were obtained based on the result of interviews with school principals, curriculum, teachers, students and parents or students’ guardians. The schools were chosen since they meet the criteria in the research, which is Islamic-based schools. The results obtained from the research are: (1) Al Manar Elementary School and Al Hasyimiyyah Elementary carry out school culture management starting from the planning, organizing, implementation to evaluation stages; (2) the implementation of strengthening character education in Al Manar and Al Hasyimiyyah is related to a school culture that has been chosen by the school through the implementation of the school culture that has been selected. Strengthening character education is formed by schools as early as possible. (3) the schools faced some external and internal factors or obstacles, one of which is the lack of cooperation with parents at home to supervise students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen budaya sekolah, implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter, kendala dan solusi manajemen budaya sekolah dalam implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter di SD AlHasyimiyyah dan SD Al Manar. Metode yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, kurikulum, guru, peserta didik dan orangtua atau wali murid. Kedua sekolah yang dijadikan tempat penelitian merupakan sekolah yang berbasis Islam sesuai dengan kriteria dalam penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian, meliputi (1) sekolah Al Manar dan Alhasyimiyyah melakukan manajemen budaya sekolah mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan hingga tahap evaluasi; (2) implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah Almanar dan Alhasyimiyyah berkaitan dengan budaya sekolah yang sudah dipilih oleh sekolah melalui pelaksanaan budaya sekolah yang telah dipilih. Penguatan pendidikan karakter dibentuk sedini mungkin oleh sekolah; (3) ada beberapa faktor eksternal dan internal atau kendala yang dialami oleh sekolah salah satunya kurangnya kerja sama dengan orangtua di rumah untuk mengawasi peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find the values of character education that are instilled through the extracurricular Kitab kuning, to find management and strategies for character education through the extracurricular Kitab kuning, and to find out the challenges and opportunities for the success of character education through extracurricular Kitab kuning in two Islamic-based schools, namely Man 2 Rembang and MA Al-Anwar Sarang who have a different vision and mission by using a qualitative approach with a multi-site design. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are there are differences and similarities regarding the values of character education that are implanted. Finding differences in management and strategy through the yellow book extracurricular, as well as finding the challenges and opportunities for success in character education through the yellow book extracurricular.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning, untuk menemukan manajemen dan strategi pendidikan karakter melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning, serta mengetahui tantangan dan peluang keberhasilan pendidikan karakter melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning di dua sekolah berbasis Islam yaitu Man 2 Rembnag dan MA Al-Anwar Sarang yang memiliki visi misi berbeda dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain multi-situs. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan dan persamaan mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan karakater yang ditanamkan. Menemukan perbedaan manajemen dan strategi melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning, serta menemukan tantantangan dan peluang keberhasilan pendidikan karakter melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to assess the strategies used in improving public image; (2) assessing the suitability of organizational goals with the strategies used; (3) assessing the effectiveness of the organization in implementing the strategy; and (4) provide recommendations to leaders in improving the weaknesses of the strategies used. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, with interview and observation data collection techniques. The research was conducted at SMA Panjura Malang City with the key informant, namely the principal, with the teacher as additional informants. The results of this study indicate that to improve the public image of the school is to publish about the excellence of the school. The strategy used by the school is also very suitable for the purpose of publication to attract enthusiasts to attend SMA Panjura Malang City. In addition, the strategy used for the publication program was very effective. This can be proven by the progress of the number of interested students. The community in implementing the public relations program at SMA Panjura Malang City also provides criticism and suggestions to the school so that this program can be carried out effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah, (1) untuk mengetahui tingkat niat berwirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin laki-laki, (2) untuk mengetahui tingkat niat berwirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan, dan (3) untuk mengetahui perbedaan niat berwirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan, dan (3) untuk mengetahui perbedaan niat berwirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan. berdasarkan jenis kelamin siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian komparatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel di setiap fakultas di Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) menggunakan proporsional random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 381 mahasiswa. Analisis deskriptif dan independent sample t-test dengan SPSS 24 merupakan teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian ini adalah, (1) Tingkat niat berwirausaha mahasiswa UM berdasarkan jenis kelamin laki-laki berada pada kriteria sangat baik,Abstrak:  Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) tahu apa pun minat berwirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin-laki, (2) mengetahui minat tinggi berwirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan, dan (3) melihat adakah perbedaan minat berwirausaha mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif komparatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel  proporsional random sampling  digunakan di masing-masing fakultas di lingkungan Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) dengan jumlah sampel 381 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni analisis deskriptif dan  independent sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS 24.0. Hasil penelitian ini yakni; (1) tingkat minat berwirausaha mahasiswa UM berdasar jenis kelamin laki-laki berada pada kriteria sangat baik, (2) tingkat minat berwirausaha mahasiswa UM berdasar jenis kelamin perempuan berada pada kriteria yang sangat baik, dan (3) tidak ada perbedaan minat berwirausaha berdasarkan jenis kelamin mahasiswa UM.

Abstract

Abstract: This study describes: (1) the role of the principal in the implementation of character education in schools; (2) the involvement of "tri pusat pendidikan" in supporting the implementation of strengthening character education in schools; (3) the importance of strengthening character education in schools. This study aims to determine the role of the principal in maximizing the strengthening of character education in schools by involving the role of the "tri center of education" to obtain maximum results. Character education cannot be separated from the role of the family environment and the community environment so that the roles of the three environments are interrelated. Character education applied in schools is carried out using the concept of self-discipline which will shape the personality of students through habituation. Schools in implementing character education also involve the role of the community and parents to participate in character education in schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach and the type of case study research. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe (1) the policies in planning, implementing, and supervising the special job, (2) Strategies and cooperation implemented by the special job fair with work partners, and (3) the usefulness of special job fair in developing the carrier of SMK Negeri 4 Malang students. The research method used is a qualitative research method using a case study design. Data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation, and observation. The subjects of this research are the chairman of a special job fair, member of a special job fair, head of public relations, admin of public relations, three students, and three graduates. Data analysis is used with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study are, (1) The supervision of BKK activities was conducted directly and indirectly by Public relations. BKK evaluated and reported the result of graduate search result viii and the report of work program to internal and external schools; (2) Strategies and cooperation implemented by the special job fair with work partners in Covid-19 Pandemic were done by applying two approaches namely BKK targeting or aiming the industries or the industries requesting to cooperate with BKK, and (3) The usefulness of the special job fair in developing the carrier of SMKN 4 Malang students was done through educative webinar implementation during Covid-19 Pandemic is increasing their knowledge and preparation to continue the next carrier they desire, through working, building a business, or continuing their study. Keywords: The management of special job fair, Covid-19 pandemic, a workforce of the vocational school graduates, role in public relations and partnership, the world of business and industry
