Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kualitas Pegawai terhadap Efisiensi Kerja Pegawai Program Studi Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Sriwijaya Palembang”.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Palembang, khususnya di wilayah Universitas Sriwijaya Palembang.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuiapakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas pegawai dengan efisiensi kerja di Program Studi Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Sriwijaya Palembang dan untuk mengetahui Tingkat Kualitas Pegawai dan Efisiensi Kerja Pegawai Program Studi Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Sriwijaya secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Penafsiran terhadap hasil penelitian disesuaikan dengan pedoman pada teori yang sesuai. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan : bahwa kualitas pegawai pada fakultas kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya adalah tergolong baik. Hal itu biasa dilihat dari perolehan nilai seluruh pertanyaan sebesar 128 yang menunjukkan hasil yang baik.Tingkat efisiensi kerja pegawai pada fakultas kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya variabel efisiensi kerja pegawai berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa efisiensi kerja pegawai tergolong tinggi. Hal itu dapat terlihat dari nilai rata-rata untuk variabel efisiensi kerja (Y) sebesar 14.415 yang menunjukkan hasil yang tinggi. pengaruh kualitas pegawai terhadap efisiensi kerja pegawai fakultas kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya. Besar hubungan antar variabel kualitas pegawai (X) dengan efisiensi kerja pegawai (Y) adalah -0,720 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.001. Hal ini menunjukkan korelasi yang kuat antara kualitas pegawai dengan efisiensi kerja pegawai. Dari perhitungan ternyata baik dari perhitungan korelasi, koefisien determinasi dan uji t diperoleh simpulan variabel bebas memiliki pengaruh positif, searah dan signifikansi terhadap efisiensi kerja.Di dukung oleh hasil uji t yang menunjukkan ditolaknya Ho. Pengaruh arah yang positif artinya jika variabel kualitas pegawai ditingkatkan maka variabel maka efisiensi kerja pegawai pun mengalami peningkatan. Begitu juga sebaliknya jika variabel bebas tersebut mengalami penurunan, maka akan diikuti dengan penurunan pada variabel efisiensi kerja pegawai.

Abstract

Abstract: Capacity Building of Public Servants to Attain Good Governance (Study at The Office of Personel agency and human resource development (BKPSDM) Kota Palembang). The realization of good governance needs professional and competent public servants. Early step that shall be taken by local government is capacity building of public servants in every public organization in the local. One public organization that is Local Employment Agency of Palembang city. Result of research indicates that capacity building of public servants at Local Employment Agency of Palembang City in general has been quite well. Employee transparency for information openness is not working optimally. Employee responsiveness to administrative service is adequate. Employee equality in delivering service is sufficient. Capacity building of public servants must be supported by enthusiastic leadership which drives employee and collective commitment based on work contract and employee agreement. Employee must be made understood through socialization, internal session or even internal regulation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of employee competencies and employee motivation simultaneously or partially on the quality of services at the Investment and Integrated One Top Service Agency of Palembang city. This study uses a quantitative research approach with census strategies. The study population was 25 civil servants. The data used is cross section data collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with F test and t test. The results showed that employee competency and employee motivation simultaneously had a positive effect on the quality of services; employee competence partially has a positive effect on the quality of services; and employee motivation simultaneously has a positive effect on the quality of services Palembang city.

Abstract

Ethics is an important element determining the successful implementation of organizational activities and public administration actors. The importance to implement public administration ethics in the Indonesia government bureaucracy was based on ethical problems occurring, such as corruption, collusion and nepotism. This research used qualitative method, in which primary data was obtained from observations, and secondary data from media and literature study. From the research conducted, it can be seen that few government officials in Indonesia are less accountable for performing their duties, authorities and responsibilities and as a result the public bureaucracy in the reform era was much highlighted by the public and got criticism. To solve this problem, besides enforcing the laws, the government also must cultivate and implement the public administration ethics to their bureaucratic apparatus.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang ingin membantu dalam pihak pihak yang membutuhkan dalam penggunaan aplikasi mendeley. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk penambahan pengetahuan melalui praktek langsung bagaimana cara menggunakan aplikasi mendeley dalam membuat referensi karya ilmiah ataupun skripsi. Diharapkan dari hasil pelatihan ini memberikan praktek secara langsung penggunaan mendeley kepada mahasiswa umum, siswa SMA/SMK, masyarakat umum maupun pihak-pihak yang membutuhkan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi langsung, praktik simulasi menggunakan aplikasi mendeley. Metode ceramah digunakan dalam proses penyampaian materi pelatihan/sosialiasi. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah 1) Masyarakat mampu mengetahui bagaimana cara menggunakan mendeley dalam pembuatan referensi karya ilmiah maupun skripsi; 2) Masyarakat mendapatkan solusi tentang kendala-kendalam dalam menggunakan mendeley.

Abstract

Berkembangnya tekhnologi dan tingginya kualifikasi jurnal bereputasi menimbulkan banyak tantangan bagi para peneliti untuk mempublikasikan artikel yang telah dimiliki. Munculnya jurnal predator dan kurangnya pengetahuan peneliti terhadap perkembangan terakhir status jurnal bereputasi tidak jarang menimbulkan kerugian baik dari segi efisiensi maupun finansial. Dengan adanya program pelatihan dan pendampingan dosen sebagai Trainer diharapkan dapat memberikan jawaban dan solusi atas keingintahuan dan segala permasalahan yang mungkin menjadi kendala bagi para peneliti khususnya di lingkungan akademik Dosen. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah selain untuk meningkatkan kualitas penulisan artikel ilmiah yang dimiliki oleh dosen, juga ditujukan untuk menghasilkan seorang trainer atau pelatih yang terampil dalam bidang penulisan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal bereputasi baik skala nasional (SINTA) maupun international (Scopus atau WoS). Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi Seluruh Akademisi khususnya Dosen dalam mengembangkan kemampuan menulis pada bidang keahlian masing-masing.

Abstract

Socialization and counseling activities regarding village administrative governance are part of community service activities. The purpose of this socialization and counseling is to improve the ability or quality of the Marga Sungsang Pemdes village apparatus, especially in the field of administrative governance. The method used is socialization and counseling with dialogue or brainstorming techniques. With this activity, the performance and administrative capabilities of village staff and village officials as well as BUMDES managers in Marga Sungsang Village, Banyusin II District, Banyuasin Regency, will increase, so that it will change the traditional way of work into a professional way of working to improve community services.

Abstract

PKKBM is a stage in preparing new students to go through the transition process to become mature and independent students, as well as a catalyst in the process of adapting students to a new environment and providing provisions for their success in studying at tertiary institutions, especially at STIA Satya Negara Palembang. The purpose of this service is to instill awareness of the nation, state and state defense, as well as concern for the environment and society, introduce learning systems and the life of the academic community by instilling basic educational values, introducing rights and obligations as students, creating a friendly campus ( inclusive), safe, and healthy and shape the character of students who prioritize attitudes as intellectuals who rely on intelligence and maturity. This service uses a participatory approach using the method of conveying knowledge from resource persons, delivering PKKMB material, observations and interviews from various sources during the Entrepreneurship Bazaar, showcasing the talents of new students in vocal, dance, recitation and martial arts. The results of the dedication show that PKKMB participants know business opportunities, are good at communicating, and are confident in promoting their products during the bazaar.

Abstract

Employee performance is one factor that is quite important in the development of the company. Employee performance is influenced by many factors and one of them is the transaction leadership style and the transformation leadership style. This study aims to determine the Transformation Leadership Style and Transaction Leadership Style on Employee Performance at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Palembang. With the number of respondents as many as 9 respondents. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research using descriptive qualitative methods. The results in this study indicate that the Transformation Leadership Style and the Transaction Leadership Style influence employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The test results of the coefficient of determination show that the transaction leadership style and the transformation leadership style are able to explain the employee's performance by 73.8%. With the results of the research that has been done, for the leaders of PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Palembang should improve transformation and transaction leadership styles because both have a positive effect on employee performance, if you look at the research results transformation leadership style has a more positive effect on improving performance but remember that effective leadership is a combination of the two leadership styles.

Abstract

The most prominent employee mutation activity in Palembang City is in the context of promotion and transfer in order to evenly distribute employees in the ranks of the Office, Agency and Office in Palembang City. The type of research that is considered appropriate in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection of this research was carried out based on observations, interviews and documents. The data analysis technique used in this study is a taxonomic analysis technique, which is to form a detailed and in-depth analysis in discussing a theme or subject matter. This taxonomic analysis is used to describe in detail the process of mutation of promotions for civil servants at the Office of the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of Palembang City. Based on the research results, in terms of mutation of civil servants, the authority that exists in the government is very broad. Only the appointment of echelon II requires approval from the top level government, and the appointment of the Regional Secretary requires approval from the local DPRD. The procedure for employee transfers differs according to the position of the mutation. For mutation due to promotion, it has been determined based on the applicable legislation.
