Abstract

Guru adalah suatu profesi yang menuntut kompetensi khusus dan tidak bisa dilaksanakan jika orang tersebut tidak terlatih dalam bidang pendidikan. Guru yang professional menjadi elemen penting dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan siswa yang lebih baik. Pendidikan di abad 21 menekankan kualitas guru yang professional yang bertujuan melahirkan kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik dan siswa yang unggul. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan langkah-langkah strategis dalam membangun guru yang profesional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan dan dilakukan pengumpulan data dengani studi literatur terhadap penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 4 keterampilan yang harus dimiliki guru yang profesional yaitu memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi, memiliki kemampuan mentransmisikan pengetahuan, memahami perkembangan peserta didik, dan memiliki inovasi dan selera humor yang tinggi. Selain itu, guru profesional juga harus memiliki 4 kompetensi yaitu pedagogic, sosial,  kepribadian, dan  profesional. Untuk mencapai keempat kompetensi tersebut diperlukan empat langkah diantaranya pelatihan yang berkesinambungan, senantiasa melakukan inovasi baru, membentuk kelompok diskusi, dan mempunyai dukungan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the independent curriculum for PAUD Nurul Ikhlas in Kemantan Kebalai, Kerinci, Indonesia. The independent curriculum has changed the paradigm in implementing education at PAUD Nurul Ikhlas. Even though the number of students is 40 people with 5 teachers and 1 educator, PAUD Nurul Ikhlas is a very important PAUD in Kemantan Kebalai in an effort to provide facilities for healthy and optimal child growth and development in accordance with community values, norms & expectations. Research using descriptive quantitative research methods. Data collection was carried out by questionnaire, literature study, observation, and the documentary method. The instruments that researchers use are as follows. Questionnaire and Documentation Guidelines. The results of the study show that Nurul Ikhlas PAUD Education in implementing the independent curriculum is carried out by providing maximum and rich experience and stimulation. So it is necessary to have a conducive environment for the growth and development of children in Kemantan Kebalai. The method and approach used is an independent learning-based approach, including play-learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the gadget phenomenon in early childhood social development. Technological developments, especially gadgets, have penetrated and even made early childhood consumers of gadgets. Despite the fact that gadgets are electronic tools for adult conversation, not toddlers. However, parents give gadgets in early childhood as a way to calm children. To see the social development of early childhood while using gadgets, the researchers used the case studies research method. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews. The results of the study show that parents should consider what image they convey to their children and how they communicate responsible smartphone consumption. So that gadgets as technological advances can still be used, but the social development of early childhood as social beings is not disturbed by the preoccupation with using gadgets.
