Abstract

The ability of students to produce the idea of mathematical concepts is one of main objectives of mathematics education and important. This research is based on the problem of low students' ability in generating mathematical concept ideas. As an alternative to the problem, this research is conducced through the application of SAVI approach in mathematics learning. The idea of fundamental mathematical concepts used by students in finding formal mathematical forms are the context of fact and science through the SAVI approach (Somatics, Auditory, Visual, Intelectual). The purpose of this research is to know the ability of students to build ideas for mathematical concepts in fractional materials. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Based on the results of the experiment the idea of mathematical concepts was used by students in MI in producing the idea of mathematical concepts on the operation of summation and fraction reduction. The this study found that of the study Show (1) showing every activity that has been designed, students use the idea of mathematical concepts in the learning process. (2) The application of SAVI learning approach has been able to improve the ability of MI students to produce the idea of mathematical concepts in fractional material. (3) The idea of mathematical concepts in the students was an earlycapacity of 85.4%, while the students had an early initial of 61.7%, while students campaigsed for a low increase in the idea of the mathematical concept not increasing.

Abstract

Teachers must have academic qualifications and educational backgrounds in accordance with the field of duty. The teacher as a professional means that the teacher's work can only be done by someone who has academic qualifications, competencies, and educator certificates in accordance with the requirements for certain types and levels of education. The objectives of the research in this study are: To what extent is the degree of conformity between the education background of the Madrasah ibididaiyah teachers and elementary schools in the North Aceh environment with the subjects taught. In this study using qualitative research. The conclusions were that there were 27.86% or as many as 102 out of 366 teachers who had educational backgrounds that were not in accordance with heresy skills. Many factors influence the teachers of madrasah ibtidaiyah and elementary schools in the North Aceh environment in teaching subjects are: "a) knowledge in terms of educational background relations with subjects taught; b) skills; c) ability (talent) and motivation; d) attitudes and responsibilities and e) behavior of the teachers in the school; f) teaching experience. Abstrak Guru harus memiliki kualifikasi akademik dan latar belakang pendidikan sesuai dengan bidang tugas. Guru sebagai tenaga profesional mengandung arti bahwa pekerjaan guru hanya dapat dilakukan oleh seseorang yang mempunyai kualifikasi akademik, kompetensi, dan sertifikat pendidik sesuai dengan persyaratan untuk setiap jenis dan jenjang pendidikan tertentu. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah: Sejauh mana tingkat kesesuaian latar belakang pendidikan guru madrasah ibdidaiyah dan sekolah dasar di lingkungan aceh utara dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitataif. Adapun kesimpulan tersebut ada 27,86% atau sebanyak 102 dari 366 guru yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan tidak sesuai dengan bidah keahlian. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah dan sekolah dasar di lingkunagn Aceh Utara dalam mengampu mata pelajaran adalah: “a) pengetahuan dalam artian relasi latar belakang pendidikan dengan mata pelajaran yang diajarkan; b) keterampilan; c) kemampuan (bakat) serta motivasi; d) sikap serta tanggung jawab dan e) perilaku dari para guru yang ada di dalam sekolah; f) pengalaman mengajar. Abstract

The development of the education world towards ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in this era made education more modern. More software or software is available free of charge that can be used for teaching and learning processes especially mathematics courses. Geogebra software is one of the software that can help students to learn independently in learning mathematics. This is because "Geogebra influences educational practices in three dimensions, namely: classroom practice, cognitive development, and learning attitudes" Geogebra software influences the teaching and learning process in three dimensions, namely classroom practice, cognitive development, and learning. information then making teaching media will be more practical and inexpensive. Teaching and learning process Mathematics courses in Architecture Engineering at Malikussaleh University still do not use Geogebra Software. Geogebra Software is included in the open source software where its use is not constrained by permission / license. GeoGebra software can increase the independence of learning in mathematics in students of the Architecture Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Malikussaleh University. Abstrak Perkembangan dunia pendidikan terhadap ICT (Information and Communication Technology) di era ini menjadikan pendidikan lebih modren. Seiring banyaknya perangkat lunak atau software tersedia gratis yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk proses belajar mengajar kususnya matakuliah matematika. Software geogebra menjadi salah satu software yang dapat membantu kemandirian belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini karena “Geogebra influences the educational practice in three dimensions, namely: classroom practice, cognitive development and learning attitudes“ Software Geogebra mempengaruhi proses belajar mengajar dalam tiga dimensi, yaitu praktek kelas, perkembangan kognitif dan sikap belajar sehingga dengan adanya media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi maka pembuatan media ajar akan lebih praktis dan murah. Proses belajar mengajar Mata Kuliah matematika di Teknik Arsitektur Universitas Malikussaleh masih belum menggunakan Software Geogebra. Software Geogebra termasuk dalam Software open source dimana pemakaiannya tidak terkendala akan izin/lisensi. Hasil Analisis menyimpulkan bahwa Software GeoGebra dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar dalam mata kuliah matematika pada mahasiswa program studi Arsitektur Fakultas Teknik Universitas Malikussaleh. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims at investigating the effect of youtube tutorial on mental computation flexibility among pre-service teachers. Mental computation might be vied as a relatively new term among students and teachers. Therefore, to introduce it to them need various methods and approaches. This study provided extra online material posted in youtube as a learning resource for pre-service primary teachers. The method used in this study was the pre-experimental research with the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was Indonesian pre-service teachers and the sample was chosen by technique of purposive sampling. The sample was from four universities in Indonesian, three public universities and one private university. The data were collected and analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The quantitative approaches used this study were wilcoxon test and  N-gain value. The result of the study showed that youtube tutorials have a significance impact on the improvement pre-service teachers’ competency of mental computation.

Abstract

Inhibitor adalah suatu zat yang menghambat atau menurunkan laju korosi. Dalam penelitian ini ekstrak daun pepaya digunakan sebagai inhibitor alami untuk menghambat laju korosi pada plat logam besi. Inhibitor alami merupakan salah satu jenis inhibitor yang bersifat  nontoksik, murah, sudah tersedia di alam, mudah diperbaharui dan tidak merusak alam. Inhibitor tersebut digunakan pada plat logam besi komersil yang direndam dalam media korosif berupa air laut dengan variasi komposisi inhibitor yang digunakan sebesar 0, 2 %, 4 %, 6 % dan 8 % selama 7 hari, 14  hari  dan  21  hari. Karakterisasi  yang  diuji  meliputi  pengukuran  laju  korosi, efisiensi inhibitor, dan uji tanin. Dari hasil pengukuran, laju korosi di dapatkan yang terkecil diperoleh oleh sampel dengan komposisi inhibitor 6 % sebesar 1,201 x 10-6 gr/cm2  dengan waktu perendaman 14 hari. Dan nilai efisiensi inhibitor ekstrak daun pepaya mencapai 83,3% pada komposisi 6 % dalam medium air laut dengan waktu perendaman 14 hari. Adapun perbedaan penelitian ini dari sebelumnya adalah penelitian ini menggunakan medium korosif air laut dan variasi komposisi inhibitor yang berbeda.
