Abstract

There are three types of potential energy sources in the sea: ocean wave energy, tidal energy, and ocean heat energy. Ocean wave energy is a source of considerable energy. Sea waves are an up and down movement of seawater where the energy of sea waves is generated through the effect of air pressure movement due to fluctuations in ocean wave movements. The Ocean Wave Power Plant can use ocean wave energy to convert it into electrical energy. A linear generator is a device that can convert the mechanical energy of linear motion into electrical energy. The application of the ocean wave energy conversion technology, a linear generator system is an electrical machine that functions to convert the mechanical energy of linear motion into electrical energy using the principle of electromagnetic induction. Wave Energy Converter (WEC) technology has been developed with various methods. From the various existing concepts and designs, in general, WEC technology can be classified into three main types, namely Attenuator (horizontal configuration), Point Absorber (linear configuration), Terminator (damping configuration).

Abstract

Wireless communication nowadays requires a system with reliable performance, efficient use of bandwidth, efficient power, and better coverage because it is in line with human needs for applications that require high and fast data rates. One of the concepts and methods to meet these needs is using an antenna technique with many transmitters and receivers or often called Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), by adding a strategy at the time of delivery, namely the Space-Time Coding (STC) technique. In addition, the application of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) on MIMO-STC will more efficiently use bandwidth. The Space-Time Trellis Code (STTC) method is one of the diverse techniques in sending data with complex coding so that coding reinforcement is achieved and applied to the OFDM MIMO system. It is hoped that a system with reliable performance can be achieved. The simulation that is carried out presents the STTC and OFDM schemes on multi antennas (2 transmitters x 2 receivers) with a Combiner and Maximum Likelihood Sequence Estimator (MLSE) detection algorithm on the receiver. It is to get the quality of the sending signal in the performance analysis of Bit Error Rate (BER) with Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). The simulation results are shown by modulation with M-array Phase Shift Keying (MPSK) and the number of symbols sent by giving different input parameter values. The results show that the number of carriers and the size of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is large, and the modulation type with a small constellation produces a low BER and throughput at high SNR.

Abstract

The package delivery system during this pandemic period require concerned health protocols. Receiving packages sometimes needs to be done even though there is no recipient. Here, the box for receiving goods has an important role. The goods receiving box must have security and ensure that the goods are received/placed in the box. In this case, it is necessary to detect the presence of objects in the box using a weight sensor, and a box locking motor is also needed. A push-button is needed when the package items are put into the box. The process of this activity can be monitored directly with the help of the Blynk application from a smartphone. The tests are carried out, and the push button signals to open the box. The weight sensor detects weight changes. The Blynk application will inform the smartphone that the object has been placed in the box from the weight change, and the system will lock the box again. The detection and monitoring system for goods on the box can work well.

Abstract

Wifi merupakan teknologi yang sangat poluler saat ini. WiFi merupakan singkatan dari Wireless Fidelity, yaitu sekumpulan standar yang digunakan untuk jaringan Lokal Nirkabel (Wireless Local Area Networks). Di Indonesia standar ini didasari pada spesifikasi IEEE 802.11. Fungsinya untuk menghubungkan jaringan dalam satu area lokal secara nirkabel. Salah satu perangkat pendukung wireless communication adalah antena. Pemilihan antena yang tepat, perancangan yang baik dan pemasangan yang benar akan menjamin kinerja sistem telekomunikasi tersebut. Antena mikrostrip memiliki kelebihan yaitu bentuknya yang low profil, yang mudah dan murah untuk diproduksi secara masal namun memiliki gain dan bandwidth yang kecil. Pada penelitian ini dirancang dan simulasi antena mikrostrip double biquad dengan bahan FR4 (epoksi). Antena mikrostrip double biquad tersebut bekerja pada frekuensi 2,4 GHz yang dapat digunakan untuk teknologi Wireless Fidelity 802.11b. Hasil pengukuran antena mikrostrip double biquad yang telah dibuat memiliki lebar pita frekuensi 86 MHz dengan nilai VSWR 1,07 dan return loss -29,5 dB. Hasil pengukuran ini menunjukkan antena mikrostrip biquad ganda yang dibuat dapat direalisasikan dan dapat digunakan pada aplikasi Wireless Fidelity 802.11b. Kata Kunci : Antena Mikrostrip Biquad Ganda, Wifi, VSWR, Pola Radiasi, Return Loss.

Abstract

Komunikasi seluler yang umumnya mengandalkan jaringan serat optic sebagai Backbone dilapangan sangat rentan terhadap kerusakan akibat faktor bencana alam. Untuk memulihkan kerusakan jaringan optic akibat bencana alam mengunakan frekuensi operasi Ku-Band sebagai pendeteksi disaster recovery plant antara Base Station Controller (BSC) dengan Base Transceiver Station (BTS) dengan metode switchover routing Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP). Frekuensi Ku-Band di pilih karena frekuensi tersebut pada jaringan Very Small Arpeture Terminal (VSAT) bersifat praktis dan dinamis saat terjadi switchover transmisi paket data. Simulasi pengujian sistem komunikasi menggunakann software open source Network Simulator 2.35 digunakan 10 node untuk mewakilkan dua jaringan seluler dan Packet Tracer untuk verifikasi metode EIGRP yang digunakan, sehingga memonitor deteksi jalur komunikasi yang perlu diperbaiki. Hasil dari simulasi ini dapat terlihat pada trace file yang berformat out.tr dan out.nam. Pada simulasi ini dianalisa bahwa waktu transisi pendeteksian berlangsung sangat cepat yaitu kurang dari 1 detik. Pada saat transmisi terdapat packet loss sebesar 6.2 KB. Hal ini sangat baik karena besar packet loss tidak terlalu besar. Jaringan VSAT FDMA Ku-Band juga memiliki margin sebesar 3.82 dB sampai menuju threshold. Sehingga kita memiliki batas aman sampai jaringan VSAT terputus. Dengan hasil perancangan dan simulasi yang didapat diketahui bahwa pendeteksian jalur komunikasi berlangsung dengan cepat sehingga perpindahan transmisi paket data berlangsung baik serta dynamic routing EIGRP yang digunakan mampu menjadi tools redundant ketika terjadi failure pada sistem seluler tersebut. Kata Kunci: Backbone, BSC, BTS, EIGRP, VSAT, Frekuensi Ku-Band.

Abstract

Abstrak Di dunia yang serba otomatis dan semakin maju ini, banyak diciptakan berbagai macam alat untuk membantu dan memudahkan pekerjaan manusia. Kopi yang merupakan salah satu minuman yang sangat diminati oleh semua masyarakat. Namun dalam penyajiannya masih dilakukan secara manual. Untuk mempermudah penyajianya dapat dilakukan dengan cara membuat peralatan yang mampu menyediakan kopi secara otomatis, dan memerlukan suatu sistem kontrol yaitu mikrokontroler. Mikrokontroler berfungsi sebagai mengatur membuka dan menutupnya solenoid valve, mengatur lama putaran screw conveyor, mengatur motor yang digunakan sebagai pengaduk dan mengatur motor pada pintu otomatis yang akan terbuka jika proses pembuatan kopi telah selasai. Dengan adanya alat pembuat mesin kopi secara otomatis ini diharapkan untuk mempermudah penyajian yang diinginkan oleh penikmat kopi. Therefore, there are many tools created to help and make easy the human work. Coffee is one of the most favorite beverages by people. But mostly it is still served manually. In order to make it easy to serve, we can create a tool which can serve coffee automatically, and need a control system called a microcontroller. The function of the microcontroller is to open and close the solenoid valve, adjusting the length of the screw conveyor rotation, set the motor which uses as stirrer and set the motor on the automatic door that will open when the coffee making process has been completed. With this automatically coffee machine maker, hope this machine can make easy to serve as the what the coffee lovers want. Abstract

Long Term Evolution Technology (LTE) is a standard communications network technology in 2010, as the development of GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) / EDGE (Enhanced Data Rate for GSM Evolution) and UMTS (Universal Mobile Telephone Standard) / HSDPA (High Speed ​​Downlink Packet Access). WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) is an industry forum that certifies and standardizes products implementing the IEEE 802.16 Wireless MAN standard. This study aims to provide an overview of the development of 4G-LTE and WiMAX technology in Indonesia. The results show that, LTE is able to provide downlink speeds up to 100 Mbps and uplink up to 50 Mbps, while WiMAX is a wireless technology that can overcome various applications with MAN coverage (Metropolitan Area Network), such as backhaul connection, can overcome problems on WiFi backhaul connection, to upgrade Speedy network or Flexi. Abstract

Alat pendeteksi api merupakan suatu alat yang dapat mendeteksi adanya perubahan atau kenaikan temperature yang tidak normal dalam ruangan. Untuk mengatasi masalah kenaikan temperature yang signifikan, telah berhasil membuat model pendeteksi api berbasis arduino uno dan MQ-2 dengan keluaran berupa SMS gateway. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan 2 sensor yaitu sensor api infrared dan sensor asap MQ-2. Dalam percobaan dilakukan penelitian kepekaan pada sensor api infrared dengan bantuan alat Lux meter untuk mengukur intensitas cahaya pada sumber api. Percobaan ini menggunakan jarak untuk mengukur dan mengetahui kepekaan sensor api infrared dan Lux meter. Serta menggunakan 2 ilin sebagai sumber api dan jarak 10 cm sampai 110 cm dengan selisih 10 cm. Percobaan pertama dengan Lux meter, besar intensitas cahaya yang di dapat pada jarak 10 cm adalah 132 lux. Jika jarak semakin jauh maka besar intensitas cahaya semakin turun, contoh jarak 110 cm dan 100 cm intensitas cahaya hanya 0 lux. Percobaan kedua dengan sensor api di dapatkan pada jarak 10 cm dengan sudut 00 sampai jarak 90 cm sensor masih dapat mendeteksi api, tapi pada jarak 100 cm dan 110 cm sensor tidak bisa mendeteksi adanya api. Lalu pada sudut 300 sampai 600 sensor hanya dapat mendeteksi pada jarak 10 cm.  Kata kunci: sensor api infrared, sensor asap MQ-2, arduino uno, lux meter, sms gateway

Abstract

One of the problems that often arise when in the course of using a bicycle is the battery smartphone that runs out before the destination. Therefore, the dynamo of a bicycle is a device that converts the energy of motion into electricity that comes from the rotation of tires that occur during the streets. Since the source of the dynamo is the tire rotation, the output of the dynamo is unstable due to the changing speed. So we need an energy storage to hold the electrical energy. Abstract

Indonesia as a country has various types of energy resources a sufficient number of abundance. Location of Indonesia is in the Khatulistiwa region, those regions Indonesia would always be sunlit for 10 until 12 hour a day. Indonesia as a tropic country has development potential and energy utilization as one of many solar energy conversion systems, this solar energy conversion systems can be applied to resolve the depletion fuel reserves existing conventional. Data Directorate General of Electricity and Energy Development in 1997. Electricity installed capacity solar power in Indonesia reached 0,88 MW of the available potential 1.2 x 109 MW. Types of Monocristalline solar cell is the most efficient panels, generate electric power per unit area of the highest. Have efficiences up to 15%. The downside of this type of panel is will not work either in the light of the sun is less (shady), efficiency will drop dramatically in cloudy weather. Photovoltaic cell always covered by a cover which is derived from a glass. Like other glass items, then the optical output from photovoltaic cell also heavily influenced by the orientation to the sun due to variations in the angle of reflection glass.
