Abstract

In this globalization era competition among universities to attract students getting tougher. It is therefore universities should further strenghten its marketing strategy, so that they can attract new students to decide to study in the Faculty of Economics, Islamic University of North Sumatra, Medan. This study aims to determine what factors are influencing students in choosing education at Faculty of Economics, Islamic University of Al Monawaroh Medan North Sumatra. The number of samples used in this study were 83 people who are students at the Faculty of Economics, Islamic University of Al Munawaroh Medan North Sumatra. Sampling performed by the method of proportionate random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires. Variables Measurement with Likert scale in 5 (five) scale. Prior to data collection, questionnaire were tested  by validity and reliability test using 30 (thirty) respondents. The validity test using the Pearson correlation that  correlate each item with total score of items and the reliability test using Cronbach Alpha. The result shows that factors must consider by the student when decided the Economy Faculty of UISU Al Munawaroh Medan are process, motivation, physical evidence, reference, cost, and location

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the "Effect of Work Spirit and Compensation on Employee Performance at PT. Arista Auto Lestari Medan ". The type of data used is associative, which is a study that asks the relationship between two variables. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Arista Auto Lestari Medan as many as 65 people. Data collection techniques in the form of distributing questionnaires to office employees at PT. Arista Auto Lestari Medan. Data analysis techniques using validity and reliability, hypothesis testing, statistical tests using multiple linear analysis models using multiple linear analysis models and determination tests.  The results of the t test can be seen that the t count on the morale variable is 4.147 greater than t table of 1.689 with a probability of t that is sig 0.004. Based on these values, the morale variable has a positive and significant effect on performance variables and the value of t arithmetic oversight is 6,649 greater than t table of 1,689 with a sig level of 0,000 smaller than the significance limit of 0.005, the partial compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on performance variable. Based on the results of the F test, the F value of 42.567 is greater than the F table of 3.27, which means that morale and compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on performance variables. The R Square value obtained is 0.727. This figure shows that 72.7% of performance (the dependent variable) can be explained by morale and compensation. The remaining 27.3% is influenced by other factors not explained in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to know "the influence of human resources development and competence on the performance of Hotel Niagara Parapat employees". This type of research is associative which is a research that is asking relations between two variables. The population in this study was the Hotel employee of Niagara Parapat, as many as 155 employees. And by using slovin formula, the number of samples in this study was as much as 61 respondents taken from all employees of the population. Based on the test results it can be seen that the partial test on the development of human Resources variable (X1) and the competency variable (X2) partially have a positive and significant influence on the performance variable (Y). Based on the test results F obtained the development of human Resources (X1) and competence (X2) simultaneously influence positively and significantly against the performance variables. And can be deduced from the Adjusted R Square value obtained by 0.679. To see the great effect of free variables against variables bound by calculating coefficient of determination (KD) = R2 x 100%, so it is obtained by 67.9%. Performance (bound variables) can be explained by the development of human Resources (X1) and competence (X2). The remaining 22.1% is influenced by other factors not described in this study.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle on the impulse buying of Albadar 6 gang community. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, which is a study that aims to explain an empirical phenomenon accompanied by statistical data, characteristics and relationships between variables using techniques. data collection using questionnaires and literature study. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. The sample in this study was the community of Gang Albadar 6, amounting to 78 respondents using the Slovin formula. The method used in data collection is purposive sampling. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that the two independent variables, namely hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle, affect impulse buying. The value of R Square equation of 0.595 means that the impulsive buying variable (dependent) which can be explained by the hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle (independent) variables in this study is 59.5% while 40.5% is influenced by other variables not explained by the this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of debt to asset ratio (DAR) on the financial performance of the company, to know the effect of debt to equity ratio (DER) on the financial performance of the company and to know the effect of debt to asset ratio (DAR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) on the financial performance of automotive companies listed in IDX period 2015-2018. The population in this study was all Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Otomotive Sector as many as 9 companies and a sample of 9 companies with 4 years of observation amounted to 36 samples. The data collection techniques used in this study are documentation. The results showed that debt to asset ratio (DAR) has partially no effect on the Financial Performance of Automotive Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) partially affects the Financial Performance of Automotive Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) simultaneously have an effect and significance on the Financial Performance of Automotive Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a value of R Square of 0.694 or 69.4% which means variations in financial performance are measured by return on equity (ROE) with debt to asset ratio (DAR) And debt to equity ratio (DER) while the remaining 30.6% of other variables not studied by this study , e.g. company size, liquidity of the company and other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Work Ability and Welfare Benefits on Employee Performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Medan Johor. This type of research is associative research that connects two or more variables. The population used in this study was 58 people. The results showed that partially the coefficient regression variable Working Ability tcount t table (5.907 2.004), and the significance value was smaller than the probability value (0.000 0.05). This means that the variable work ability has a significant effect on employee performance. Partially Welfare Benefits t on the table value (10,685 2,004), and the significance value is smaller than the probability value (0,000 0.05) means that the Welfare Benefit variable has a partial effect on Employee Performance. Simultaneously shows that the variable work ability and welfare benefits significantly influence employee performance because the value of Fcount = 89.725, while Ftable is 3.16, thus Fcount (89.725) Ftable (3.16) with a Sig. F is 0,000. The coefficient of determination is 0.765, this shows that the variable ability of Work Ability and Welfare Benefits is able to explain that Employee Performance is 76.5% and the remaining 23.5% is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the Effect of Job Recruitment and Discipline on Employee Performance of PT.Brataco Medan Branch The research method used is associative research, where variables are measured on a Likert scale. The method of data collection is done by interview (interview), with a list of questions (questionnaire) and study documentation. The population in this study were employees at PT.Brataco Medan Branch, totaling 62 people. Sampling with saturated sampling method or better known as the census. In this study the total population is relatively small as many as 62 people. Data processing using SPSS software version 23, with descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) partially Recruitment variables affected the performance of the employees of PT.Brataco Medan Branch, (2) partially the Work Discipline variables affected the performance of the employees of PT.Brataco Medan Branch (3) simultaneously there were positive and significant influences between variables Job Recruitment and Discipline affects the performance of PT.Brataco Medan Branch Employees

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effects of shopping lifestyle and fashion involvement to impulse buying behavior of high income people at fashion house 10 tasbih 1 medan, The research methode used is associtive research, where variables are measurea on a likert scale. The methode of data collection is done by interview (interview), with a list of question (questionnaire) and study documentation. Sampling with saturated sampling method or better known as the census,in this study the number of samples is 89 people. Data processing using SPSS software version 20, with descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing multiple regression analysis.The result showed that : (1) partially shopping lifestyle variables influence to impulse buying at fashion house 10 tasbih 1 medan. (2) partially fashion involvement variables influence to impulse buying at fashion house 10 tasbih 1 medan.. (3) partially simultaneously there is a positive and significant effect between shopping lifestyle and fashion involvement variables effect to impulse buying at fashion house 10 tasbih 1 medan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of marketing strategies marketing activities in small and medium-sized businesses to survive in competition between businesses. Researchers want to find out how the influence of the entrepreneurial marketing system that is focused on small and medium enterprises on the formation of innovation and competitive advantage where entrepreneurial marketing plays a role in innovation as well as entrepreneurial marketing on competitive advantage and innovation has a role that affects competitive advantage. The study was conducted on culinary UKM in the city of Medan. This type of research is a survey method with explanatory research. The sample of this study was 80 respondents with a random sampling technique. The analytical method uses PLS-3 (Partial Least Square). The results of this study indicate the first hypothesi there is a significant and positive effect between entrepreneurial marketing and innovation. The second variable hypothesis is entrepreneurship marketing with competitive advantage. The third hypothesis between innovation and competitive advantage.

Abstract

Background: Puberty refers to the ripening of reproductive organs characterized by the first menstruation in young women (menarche), according to observation data made to young women they feel embarrassed by the changes in physical form that occur at puberty when there is already acne they are not confident, breasts begin to enlarge they fret because they have to wear longer clothes. The purpose of the study was to identify the behavior of young women during puberty in Luak Subdistrict. Methods:This study is Desciptive Analytics with Cross Sectional Study approach. The instrument used is a quisioner and is processed using computerization with the Chi-Square statistical test. The study was conducted on 71 respondents. Results: This study were obtained by 44 negative information respondents (62.0%) with P value = 0.015, Negative culture as much as 40 (56.3%) with P value = 0.016, Negative knowledge of 47 (66.3%) with P value = 0.039, Negative motivation as much as 42 (59%) with P value = 0.03, and positive behavior respondents as many as 53 respondents (74.6%). Conclusion: Based on the above results, there is a significant relationship between Information, Culture, Knowledge, and Motivation with Young Women's Behavior. It is expected to respondents to be able to always improve information on puberty and increase knowledge of changes in parilaku that occur.Keyword:Behavior, Information, Culture, Motivation and Knowledge
