Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme siswa melalui metode simulasi pada pembelajaran PKn di SMA Negeri  1 Seyegan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan disain dengan Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi , da refleksi. Penelitian ini terlaksana dalam dua siklus, masing-masing tiga kali pertemuan. Pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah guru  PKn yang mengajar di kelas X , sebagai kolaborator yang berperan melaksanakan tindakan. Peneliti bertindak sebagai perencana pembelajaran dan observer tindakan. Sedangkan siswa kelas X sebagai subjek yang dikenai  tindakan. Jenis tindakan yang dilakukan adalah pembelajran PKn  dengan metode simulasi. Data peningkatan sikap nasionalisme di noeroleh melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan tes sikap yang kemudian dianalisis dengan membandingkan hasil tes sikap sebelum tindakan dan sesudah tindakan, serta hasil pengamatan setiap siklus.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode simulasi pada siklus I dengan materi Sumpah Pemuda dapat meninggalkan sikap nasionalisme siswa. Hal ini di tunjukan dengan tanggpan positif siswa sebelum tindakan besar 72,22% menjadi  80,56% setelah tindakan. Penerapan metode simulasi pada siklus II dengan materi Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Indonesia, siswa yang menunjukan sikap positif sebesar 97,22. Berdasarkan peningkatan skor tanggapan siswa pada siklus I dan II dapat d simpulkan bahwa poenerapan metode simulasi dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme siswa kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Seyegan.Kata kunci: sikap nasionalisme, metode simulasi, pendidikan kewarganegaraan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru menanamkan ranah afektif dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 01 Pengkadan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pengkadan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dalam penelitian ini penulis ingin menganalisis kemudian mendeskripsikan keadaan tentang peran guru menanamkan ranah afektif dalam pembelajaran PKn di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 01 Pengkadan. Alat pengumpul data penelitian adalah observasi, wawancara, angket, serta dokumentasiHasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah Peran guru dalam menanamkan ranah afektif pada pembelajaran PKn pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pengkadan sangat diperlukan. Guru memberikan teladan dan menanamkan kepada siswa untuk berbuat jujur, bersikap positif, disiplin, tidak sombong, dan berinteraksi dengan baik dalam masyarakat. Faktor pendukung dalam upaya menanamkan ranah afektif siswa pada pembelajaran PKn adalah guru harus menanamkan sikap moral, tanggungjawab, rasa hormat, keadilan, keberanian, kejujuran, rasa kebangsaan, displin diri, toleransi, ketekunan, percaya diri, kesopanan, kerajinan, dan kematangan sikap kepada siswa. Tujuannya untuk menanamkan ranah afektif agar dilaksanakan siswa. Faktor-faktor penghambat upaya menanamkan ranah afektif siswa pada pembelajaran PKn adalah berasal dari guru, siswa, orang tua dan masyarakat.                                                Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, Penanaman Ranah Afektif

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk Quasi Experimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII. Analisis data yang menggunakan teknik statistik kuantitatif.  Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu: 1) Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dalam pengukuran awal (pre-test) berdasarkan hasil tabel perbedaan mean (rata-rata) persentasi terdapat selisih sebesar 8,35%. Adapun nilai rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 59.57 dengan kategori “Kurang”. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol mencapai nilai sebesar 65 dan dapat dikategorikan “Cukup”. 2) Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada pengukuran akhir (post-test) dapat dikemukakan bahwa perbedaan hasil belajar siswa adalah 10,43 poin (13,22%). Sedangkan perbedaan harga Indeks Gain Hake kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,91 dengan kategori sangat baik dan pada kelas kontrol dengan harga Indeks Gain Hake sebesar 0,109 dengan kategori rendah. 3) Pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dapat diinterpretasikan memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan rumus uji t-test diperoleh harga thitung = 5,404>ttabel  sebesar 2,000. Artinya bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan batas taraf kesalahan sebesar 0,5%, maka keputusannya bahwa setiap guru yang memiliki kompetensi profesional dalam mengajar jauh lebih baik hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar oleh guru yang tidak memiliki kompetensi profesional. 4) Respon siswa terhadap kompetensi profesional guru dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan adanya perlakuan dalam pembelajaran pokok bahasan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) di Kelas VII jauh lebih baik dan pro-aktif dalam belajar dari pada siswa tanpa diberikan perlakuan. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Profesional Guru dan Hasil Belajar Siswa.

Abstract

This research was about how the Bejopai tradition in the Tanah Merah village community, the stages in the Bejopai tradition, and the character values work together in the Bejopai tradition. This study aims to describe the Bejopai tradition, the stages in the Bejopai tradition, and the value of the gotong royong character in the Bejopai tradition. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data collection tools using observation sheets, interview guides, and document guides. The study results show that: 1) The Bejopai tradition in the Tanah Merah village community has existed since the ancestors' time and is carried out regularly once a year. Usually carried out from the sixth month to the last, namely manyi. Every year it is always carried out in the Bejopai tradition. 2) The stages in the Bejopai tradition are still very thick and often carried out by carrying out stages such as montap, nobas, nobang, nunu, manog, nugal, mabau, manyi, and ngirik padi, so that the Bejopai tradition can be carried out properly without reducing step by step. Step. 3) The character values contained in the bejopai tradition are responsibility, help, justice and unity, togetherness, kinship, volunteering, and the active role of each individual. With mutual cooperation, it will be easier for the community to carry out the Bejopai tradition so that the Bejopai tradition will always be preserved from time to time, generation to generation, and uphold the value of art, culture, or tradition. Carry out cooperation activities, especially in the Bejopai tradition, in the form of the public and individual interests. In addition, the community must interpret the values of cooperation in the Bejopai tradition as a form of togetherness in neighborly life to lighten the workload of each other to make time efficient to achieve more optimal output or results. Keywords: Character Value of Gotong Royong, Bejopai Tradition.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) terhadap sikap nasionalisme siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas di perbatasan Indonesia dengan Malaysia. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ex Post Facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 372 yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling  pada 15 sekolah di 5 Kabupaten yaitu Kabupaten Sintang, Kabupaten Sanggau, Kabupaten Sambas, Kabupaten Bengkayang dan Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument angket skala likert. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi: Uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas dan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap sikap nasionalisme siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas di perbatasan Indonesia dengan Malaysia. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the rore of Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers in forming disciplinary characters, especialy in the SMA Negeri 2 Belimbing. This is because discipline is an important factor that supports students success during their education in everyday life in society. Without good discipline, it is certain that students will experience various obstacles, where this obstacles are, most likely not be able to be overcome. If so, the person concerned will surrender to the situation. However, to form a disciplined character is certainly not an easy matter, because it is influenced by at least two factors, namely internal and exsternal. Internal factors relate to the students themselves, namely to extent to which the are committed to progressing and developing the talents that exist within themselves. Meanwhile, exsternal factors, include family, friends, community, government, and the teachers at school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using observation, interviews and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the data processing refer to Mile and Huberman’s theory. The results of this reseach show that teachers, especially Pancasila and Citizenship Education teacher have quite an important role in shaping students disciplinary character. There are several strategies used, including pioneering the establishment of an honesty kantin, coming to school on fixed time, entering and leaving class according to a predetermined schedule, looking nead, implementing school regulations properly and correctly and colaborating with other teachers.  Keywords: Teacher Role, Student Discipline Character, Pancasila and Citizenship Education

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between understanding democracy and political participation in the 2021 Pilkades for the people of Jaya Sakti Village, Kayan Hilir District, Sintang Regency. This research uses quantitative methods in the form of interactive relationship study research. The population in this study were 615 permanent voters and from the results of calculations using the Yamane formula, a sample of 85 respondents was obtained. Data collection techniques and tools using questionnaires and documentation. Data processing techniques include normality test, simple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, and t test. The results of the study show, 1) the people's understanding of democracy is in a fairly good range by looking at the close average valuean average of 163,16% and a minimum score of 143, 2) political participation in the 2021 village head election, the community is in the fairly good category with an average score of 174,46% and a minimum score of 154. The product moment correlation test shows a correlation value of 0,594 and the level of relationship is classified as currently. The significance test shows the value of tcount 6,732 > ttable 1,988 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between understanding democracy and political participation in the 2021 Pilkades for the people of Jaya Sakti Village, Kayan Hilir District, Sintang Regency.  Keywords: Democracy, Political Participation in Pilkades

Abstract

Character education is an important part of education. The purpose of this study is to describe scout activities in shaping national character as part of the civic disposition of students at MTs Nurul Ma'arif 1 Dedai. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with descriptive research form. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. From the results of this study found: 1). The strategy used in the implementation of extracurricular scouts is good. 2). Scout extracurricular activities at MTs Nurul Ma'arif 1 Dedai play an important role in shaping national character as part of civic disposition, namely shaping students' religious, honest and disciplinary values. 3). The obstacles faced by the coach are different student characters, facilities and infrastructure supporting scout activities and less optimal time in scout activities.  Keywords: Scout, National Character, Civic Disposition.

Abstract

Citizenship culture (civic culture) is closely related to national identity related to culture, local wisdom, and customs that are able to sustain people to live in accordance with the values of their regional traditions and culture. This study aims to clearly describe the beduruk tradition in relation to civic culture as a form of preserving Indonesian culture in the Dayak Desa community in Sentabai, Silat Hilir District. The research method uses a qualitative approach in the form of ethnography. Collecting data through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. The research findings show that the beduruk tradition is essentially a mutual cooperation activity, especially in working on the fields and there are civic cultural values, namely the value of togetherness and family values in the social life of the community. The conclusion of this research is that in carrying out the beduruk tradition there are a series of activities that aim to complete a job by mutually caring and helping one another and a culture of citizenship will be very useful in the midst of society as a guideline for shared social life because true citizen identity originates from civic culture. Efforts to preserve the values of the beduruk tradition are carried out by all levels of the local community as well as the support from the Sentabai Village government. Keywords: Beduruk Tradition, Civic Culture, Preservation Of Village Dayak Culture

Abstract

This research aims to explore the urgency of dealing with waste in Sintang City with a focus on analyzing community apathy towards environmental health. Waste is a serious problem that threatens environmental sustainability, public health and the ecosystem as a whole. Community apathy towards the waste problem can be a major obstacle in mitigation efforts. This research method uses a qualitative and quantitative approach, involving surveys, interviews and data analysis. Respondents were taken from various levels of society in Sintang City. Analysis of people's apathy towards waste was carried out to identify factors that influence ignorance towards environmental health.The research results show that the majority of people in Sintang City have a high level of apathy towards the waste problem. Factors such as a lack of understanding of environmental health impacts, a lack of awareness of personal responsibility, and uncertainty regarding waste management are the main causes of apathy. In this context, education and outreach programs need to be improved to increase public understanding of the urgency of dealing with waste and its impact on environmental health. This research makes an important contribution in making interested parties, including the government and non-governmental organizations, aware of the urgency of handling the waste problem in Sintang City. Joint efforts from various parties are needed to change apathy into awareness and real action in maintaining environmental health. Keyword : apathy, environmental health
