Abstract

This study explore the demography, behavior, the information needed and accessible media audience of the Festival Film Pelajar Jogjakarta (FFPJ), Festival Film Dokumenter (FFD) and Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival. A quantitative descriptive method using questionnaire through convenience survey was employed. Finding show that most of the festival attendees are teenagers and young people who study in university. JAFF’s audience is more heterogeneous compares to other festivals. Repeated visit is relatively low. The most influential information sources are: friends recommendation, website and social media. Most of the festivalgoers choose the festival programs carefully based on website information and catalogue message.

Abstract

Not until World War II, teen become an important demographic. Their population keep increase every year. Generation Y is the richest teen ever. Moreover, Generation Yalso influence their parents spending. Teenagers fond of fashion and music. Lately they also use credit card. They need education more than adults that for their parents provide the best education services. Marketers need television, internet, video game, peers and parents to encourage them comsume. Because expand of information technology, there are global teenagers. Teenagers all over the world have some similarities on sports, music, fashion and computer. But because of local circumtances they also have differences. So that, marketers should provide different strategy to promote their product in each country. On this article I wrote some important issues about marketing to teenager such as : the history, the importance, products and services, marketing communication, and costumer behaviour of teenager.

Abstract

SKH Republika menurunkan banyak tulisan mengenai isu lesbian, gay, biseksual dan transgender (LGBT) selama kurun waktu 24 Januari ? 31 Maret 2016. Pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan : (1) bagaimana representasi ideologi dan (2) seksualitas dalam pemberitaan SKH Republika?Metode Penelitian yang dipilih adalah analisis wacana Van Dijk dengan pendekatan intensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum SKH Republika menawarkan wacana anti LGBT melalui pemilihan narasumber dan pendapat mereka yang dikutip. Representasi ideologi yang ditampilkan bahwa LGBT bersandar pada ideologi liberalisme dan universalisme yang bertentangan dengan nilai, norma, dan hukum nasional Indonesia. Sedangkan wacana seksualitas direpresentasikan melalui kuasa pengetahuan bersumber dari psikolog islam dan institusi otoritatif yaitu agama, negara dan pendidikan. Semua narasumber islam di tiga institusi tersebut menolak LGBT sedangkan narasumber negara non-islam bersifat moderat dengan membatasi penampilan mereka di ruang publik, selanjutnya peneliti sekuler menerima praktik LGBT sebagai salah satu jalan masuk membentuk pengetahuan dan kesetaraan hukum.Kata kunci :?Republika, wacana, LGBT, kuasa, seksualitas, pengetahuanThe Republika Daily published abundant articles about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) during the period January 24 to March 31, 2016. In general The Republika Daily offers anti-LGBT discourse through the selection of speakers and their opinions are cited. According to The Republika Daily, ideology representation that is based on liberalism and universalism is against values, norms, and Indonesian national law. While the discourse of sexuality is represented by the power of knowledge comes from psychologists Islam and authoritative institution that is religion, state and education. All sources of Islam in the three institutions while the informant refused LGBT non-Islamic countries are moderate by limiting their appearance in the public space, the next secular researchers accept LGBT practices as one way in shaping the knowledge and legal equality.?Keywords: Republika, discourse, LGBT, power, sexuality, knowledge?

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data yang relatif baru dan lengkap mengenai profil usaha kecil dan menengah di Kabupaten Bantul serta menentukan strategi pengembangan dan pembinaan usaha kecil dan menengah.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dipusatkan pada 3 Kecamatan di Kabupaten Bantul yaitu Kecamatan Pundong, Bantul dan Sedayu. Di tiga kecamatan tersebut terdapat 1530 Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) yang dijadikan populasi dalam penelitian ini. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan stratified proportionate random sampling. Jumlah sampel ditentukan 10% dari seluruh populasi yaitu sebanyak 153 UKM. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan pendekatan SWOT. Masalah utama yang dihadapi UKM adalah produksi dan lingkungan eksternal. Hal ini tampak dari persepsi responden yang cenderung negatif terhadap kemampuan produksi dan tantangan lingkungan eksternal. Sedangkan faktor internal lain seperti pemasaran, SDM dan keuangan dipersepsi sedang. Jika dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan SWOT situasi ini berada dalam Kuadran IV. Strategi yang dapat ditempuh adalah diversifikasi produk dan usaha patungan (joint venture). Berkaca dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan Pemerintah Daerah mengembangkan kegiatan pembinaan UKM yang berorientasi pada produksi dan akses pada lingkungan eksternal untuk melakukan mobilisasi potensi UKM. Selanjutnya, UKM juga diarahkan melakukan diversifikasi dan usaha patungan untuk memperkuat potensi internal

Abstract

After the long period of the cinema industry decline, the number of audience who visit cinema increases significantly. However, the research to examine the phenomena of audience segmentation is very few. Therefore the study aim is to investigate cinema audience segmentation in Yogyakarta on the basis of the aspects that affects the audience film choice. Furthermore the mix-method approach combining qualitative and quantitative method in sequence was employed to attain the research objective. For the first step, three focus group discussions that involve 20 informants. The second step, survey was conducted involving 454 respondents. The result indicates that there are two different audience segments according their behaviors. The first segment visits the cinema as fun activities in their spare time meanwhile the second segment considers the activity as a cultural interest in order to enjoy the narrative and artistic aspects of a film

Abstract

ABSTRAKKonten digital pada masa ini dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh beragam kalangan. Walau begitu, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam penggunaan internet di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Hal itulah yang melatarbelakangi upaya berbagai pihak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital masyarat Indonesia. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk memetakan gerakan literasi digital yang dilakukan di lingkup Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengambilan data wawancara mendalam terhadap pelaku kegiatan dengan menggunakan instrumen dari Jaringan Pegiat Literasi Digital. Sejumlah lima belas kegiatan literasi digital di lingkup UNY dianalisis dan digolongkan kedalam enam pendekatan literasi media berdasarkan hasil indeks latar belakang, metode, dan praktek dari kegiatan tersebut. Dari hasil analisis, sejumlah satu kegiatan literasi tergolong dalam pendekatan Protectionism, empat kegiatan literasi tergolong dalam pendekatan Active Audience, tujuh kegiatan literasi tergolong dalam pendekatan Critical Analytical, satu kegiatan literasi tergolong dalam pendekatan Creative Media, dan dua kegiatan literasi lainnya tergolong dalam pendekatan gabungan. Satu kegiatan mengadopsi gabungan pendekatan Media Creative dan pendekatan Media Fun, sedangkan kegiatan lainnya mengadopsi gabungan antara pendekatan Critical Analytical dan Media Fun. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan yaitu pihak-pihak penyelenggara yang berkecimpung dalam dunia Ilmu Komunikasi cenderung lebih mengenal beragam variasi pendekatan. Sehingga, dalam program literasi digital yang diusungnya, pendekatan yang dibawa disesuaikan dengan target yang akan dituju.ABSTRACTIn the age of digital world, anybody can easily access the digital content. However, there is still a gap within the internet usage amongst Indonesian people. This is exactly the reason behind the efforts of various communities in order to improve digital capabilities of Indonesian society.This research tried to map various digital literacy movement in Yogyakarta State University (YSU). The method used is descriptive-qualitative with in-depth interviews by using instruments from Jaringan Pegiat Literasi Digital. With a total of fifteen digital literacy activities in YSU are analyzed and classified into six media literacy approaches based on the index results of the background, methods, and practices of those activities.According to the analysis, a number of digital literacy activities belong to the Protectionism Approach, four belong to the Active Audience Approach, seven are categorized in the Critical Analytical Approach, one belong to the Creative Media Approach, and the rest of other two digital literacy activities are belong to mixed approaches. One digital literacy activity adopted an mixed approaches between Creative Media Approach and Media Fun Approach, while the other one adopted a combination of Critical Analytical Approach and Media Fun Approach.The results of this research showed that people who learned Communication Studies are tend to be more familiar with variety of approaches compared with those who are not major in Communication Studies. Thus, in their digital literacy movement programs, they knew which approaches that suitable for the target group they addressed to.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja dan Komitmen Organisasi Terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan mengambil sampel karyawan bagian Tata Usaha FISE UNY. Metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode survey dan analisis datanya menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa variabel kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel organizational citizenship behavior sementara itu komitmen organisasi pengaruhnya tidak signifikan. Kata Kunci: kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, organizational citizenship behavior Abstract: Effect of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior. This study is a correlational study with a sample of Administration Division employees of FISE UNY. The data was collected using survey method and analyzed through multiple regression analysis. This study finds that job satisfaction variable has a positive and significant effect on the organizational citizenship behavior variable while the organizational commitment effect is not significant. Key words:         job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior
