Abstract

Ethanol extracts of the fruits of three kinds of Capsicum showed similar potencies in their antimicrobial activities against Gram (+) and Gram (-) bacterias, and fungi, although they contained different level of capsaicin. Bioautographic tests demonstrated that capsaicin was the main antimicrobial component. At least two other non-polar components of ethanol extract also contributed in the antimicrobial activity and very likely that these compounds were responsible for the activity toward Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Abstract

Abstract This research was intended to describe the presentation structure of Malam Bainai a wedding ceremony in Kelurahan Kubu Dalam Parak Karakah Kecamatan Padang Timur Kota Padang. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive analysis approach. The procession of Malam Bainai consisted of three main parts including Bamandi-Mandi, Maniti Kain Kuniang, and Bainai. In bainai procession, inai was applied by bako, and the sisters of the bride’s mother, the wife of the bride’ uncle or female family coming in that procession. Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know and analyze the influence of liquidity, profitability, capital structure and share price on dividend policy on Consumer Goods Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2018. This research uses quantitative research. Quantitative research approach. The nature of research is a causal relationship. The collection of this research data by means of documentation. The population of this study is 51 Consumer Goods Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. A research sample of 16 Consumer Goods Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2018. The research model is multiple linear regressions. The results of this study are Liquidity, profitability, capital structure and share price simultaneously and partially affect the dividend policy on Consumer Goods Companies. Abstract

The mass media are often accused of being a source of spreading false news (hoax). This often happens especially in new media types (the internet). When the media or individuals put aside the truth of the news to catch up with the speed of news publication or create sensational titles to attract visitors when the reality is completely different. This study is based on the theory of social judgment (Social Judgment Theory), which is part of communication theory that describes and describes how individuals assess messages that begin when reading, listening or responding to a message. This research is a qualitative research that is library research that uses books and other literatures as the main object in Indonesian society. One way to deal with hoaxes, especially in terms of receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, is media literacy. There are seven skills needed to achieve critical awareness of media, including; Ability to analyze, evaluate, group (grouping), message induction, message deduction, message synthesis and make accurate descriptions. The high wave of Covid-19 vaccine hoaxes requires the awareness of the Indonesian people to be observant in filtering information so as to provide social change in vaccination behavior.

Abstract

Hepatitis is the process of inflammation and/or necrosis of liver tissue. Infectious hepatitis is the most common cause of acute hepatitis. This study aimed to examine the level of public knowledge about hepatitis in children before and after being given health education at the Taman Bacaan Public Health Center. This study used descriptive research method, seeking and collecting data in the field with the aim of knowing the level of public knowledge before and after being given health education about hepatitis in children. This study involved 96 respondents. The descriptive analysis results showed that most respondents were between 20 to 35 years old and female. Most of the respondents had good knowledge about hepatitis before given the health education about hepatitis in children. Most of the respondents had good attitude and high interest in preventing hepatitis.  The bivariate analysis results in this study that there is an effect of providing health education about hepatitis in children to the community (T value = 17.04). Education still needs to be continued because the most important goal of health education is to achieve changes in individual, family and community behavior in maintaining clean living behaviors and a healthy environment, as well as playing an active role in efforts to achieve optimal health status.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan meneliti fungsi sistem, pengaruh penerapan sistem, manfaat penerapan sistem, kendala penerapan sistem, keuntungan dan kerugian penerapan sistem, serta perbedaan kondisi setelah penerapan sistem SOFI terhadap PT. Hok Seng Jayaperkasa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif, yaitu prosedur pencatatan untuk menggambarkan atau melukiskan keadaan objek yang diteliti berdasarkan fakta yang ada. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara di lapangan kepada para informan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Penerapan Sistem SOFI pada PT. Hok Seng Jayaperkasa menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas kerja karyawan serta membantu mencapai tujuan organisasi tanpa menguras energi yang banyak dengan efektif dan efisien, (2) Meningkatkan inovasi serta mencegah tindakan kejahatan keuangan (fraud) ataupun meningkatkan kualitas manajemen risiko terhadap perusahaan meskipun masih ada kurangnya kesadaran serta pemahaman karyawan terhadap penerapan sistem SOFI, (3) Peningkatan kinerja pegawai serta efisiensi waktu sangat bisa dirasakan jika dibandingkan saat sebelum diterapkan sistem pada PT. Hok Seng Jayaperkasa dengan setelah menerapkan sistem SOFI pada PT Hok Seng Jayaperkasa. Kata Kunci: sistem; kinerja; laporan keuangan.
