Abstract

Woven fabric is a handicraft product inherited from generation to generation. Woven fabric can be weared as dress in dances at parties or in traditional events. Every motif on woven fabric has meaning both traditionally and culturally. The purpose of this study is to find out the marketing strategy and the factors that influence it. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using the method of interview, observation, documentation to obtain primary data and secondary data. As well as data analysis techniques carried out through reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The result shows that implementation of marketing communication strategies Prailiu Weaving Center uses a marketing mix consisting of product, price, place and promotion which includes sales promotion, face-to-face promotion and direct marketing. The marketing strategy of the Prailiu Weaving Center consists of marketing strategy analysis which includes opportunity analysis and competitive analysis, as well as the marketing process which consists of determining product segmentation, targeting and positioning. Factors that influence marketing activities consist of supporting factors and inhibiting factors from both internal and external environments.

Abstract

Abstract. Korean wave has become a big phenomenon in Indonesia, enthusiasm and passion for K-pop culture has led to fanaticism for fans. The distribution of K-pop content on social media such as Instagram gives fans space to participate in supporting their idols and this is one of the factors forming the fanaticism of k-pop fans. This study aims to determine the fanaticism of kpop fans in social media on Instagram as well as how kpop fans respond in responding to hoax and negative information from favorite idols. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques used are interviews, and literature study. The selection of informants used a purposive sampling technique. The results showed the fact that fanaticism fans in social media on Instagram evaluated through fan activities such as Meaning Making, Meaning Sharing such as interpreting K-pop idol posts as motivation in research, making posts amazed and happy for K-pop idols . Poaching by following  fansite accounts and making fanfiction and making videos. Collecting such as uploading pictures about the official kpop merchandise needed and knowledge building  with fellow fans. Fanaticism, kpop fans, also through fan responses, asking for information, hoaxes and negatives from their idols responded with many variations such as annoyance, anger until heartache. And to seek clarification of the truth of the news that is by looking at reliable sources such as the official Instagram account K-pop idol, official Instagram account management artist to the Korean major media such as Soompi, Allkpop, and press realease provided by artist management

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the planning strategy of public relations Jawa Timur Park Group especially the strategy to establish good relationships with its stakeholders and support programs with the good relations. This research uses a qualitative paradigm by colaborating data from semi-structured interviews and documentation. The concepts used in his analysis are public relations planning strategies initiated by Cutlip, Center, and Broom, including making decisions about objectives and objectives, identifying deciding audiences, setting policy or strategy rules, and deciding which strtegi to use. The results of this research marketing public relations Jawa Timur Park Group made decisions that were handed over entirely to the leader of the company. Public relations also makes the purpose of the program to attract stakeholders so that they want to cooperate. In addition to identifying the audience by looking at what is their characteristic, the company has a policy or strategy rule that is to promote the understanding of the East Java park group company to all its business scopes, and decide what strategy the company will use. The strategy that has been decided in establishing relationships with East Java Park Group stakeholders is implemented through programs tailored to stakeholders' relationships. These programs are Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), special events, discounts, and additional facilities.

Abstract

Abstrak:Peran humas merupakan garda terdepan dalam suatu lembaga instansi/organisasi untuk mengoptimalkan dan mengelola segala bentuk macam kegiatan untuk menciptakan, membangun, meningkatkan, mempertahankan citra dan mempublikasikan segala bentuk informasi kepada publik, serta menjalin kerja sama dengan media baik internal maupun eksternal dan semua publik sehingga dapat membantu memudahkan proses kerja humas  yang baik dalam memberikan informasinya kepada khalayak. Karenapublik dan media adalah  sebagai sarana  penujang yang mendorong program kerja humas UNITRI.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Adapun untuk menganalisis data dengan menyusun secara sistematis data yang di peroleh dari hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan bahan-bahan lain sehingga dapat mudah dipahami dan temuannya dapat diinformasikan kepada orang lain dengan cara melakukan proses: Reduksi data, penyajian data (data hasil wawancara, data pendokumentasi dan data observasi), dan menarik kesimpulan (verifikasi).Hasil penelitian ini dapat  diketahui bahwa, peran humas UNITRI meningkatan citra positif lembaga pendidikan tinggi UNITRI di mata publik, menjalin kerja sama media internal maupun eksternal, serta peran menjembatani segala bentuk informasi, baik itu tentang akademik maupun non akademik. Program kerja humas UNITRI ialah meliputi semua acara atau kegiatan kampus yang berkaitan dengan jurusan, fakultas, maupun sekala universitas untuk di jadikan sebuah berita yang dipublikasikan kepada publik  dengan  mengunakan media internal dan media eksternal. Kata kunci: Peran; Humas; Media                    Abstract: The role of public relations is the frontline in an agency/organization to optimize and manage all kinds of activities to create, build, improve, maintain the image and publish all forms of information to the public, and establish cooperation with the media both internal and external and all public so that it can help facilitate the process of good public relations work in providing information to the public. Because the public and the media are as a means of encouraging the public relations work program of UNITRI. In this study using descriptive qualitative research methods by using steps of data collection through observation, documentation, and interviews. As for analyzing data by systematically compiling data obtained from interviews, field notes, and other materials so that it can be easily understood and findings can be shared with others by carrying out the process: Reducing data, presenting data (data from interviews, documentation data and observation data), and draw conclusions (verification). The results of this study can be seen that, the role of UNITRI public relations increases the positive image of UNITRI higher education institutions in the public eye, establishes internal and external media cooperation, and the role of bridging all forms of information, both academic and non-academic. UNITRI's public relations program is covering all campus events or activities related to majors, faculties, and universities to be made a news published to the public using internal media and external media. Keywords: Role; Public Relations; Media

Abstract

Brawijaya Edupark is one of the tourist destinations in Malang, East Java, which was previously known as Taman Wisata Senaputra. The change of the name Senaputra Tourism Park to Brawijaya Edupark is a new thing for the people of Malang City. The purpose of this research is to describe the image of Brawijaya Edupark educational tourism after the name change from Taman Wisata Senaputra. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection process was carried out by means of interview, documentation, and observation. The result showed that the branding carried out by Brawijaya Edupark was to raise the concept of recreational tourism and early childhood education, "Fun Learning Through Playing". This concept can build an image of educational tourism for Brawijaya Edupark by integrating tourism communication in the form of publication, cooperation, and event. There are obstacles in this branding such as the lack of facilities and awareness of visitors to children's information education, making the process of achieving Brawijaya Edupark's tourist destinations not optimal.Keywords: Tourism Communication, Branding, BrawijayaEduparkBrawijaya Edupark menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata di Kota Malang Jawa Timur yang sebelumnya bernama Taman Wisata Senaputra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa branding yang dilakukan oleh Brawijaya Edupark yakni mengangkat konsep wisata rekreasi dan pendidikan anak usia dini, “Fun Learning Through Playing”. Konsep ini dapat membangun citra wisata edukasi bagi Brawijaya Edupark dengan pengintegrasian komunikasi pariwisata yang berupa publikasi, kerjasama, dan kegiatan/event. Terdapat hambatan dalam branding ini seperti kurangnya fasilitas dan kesadaran pengunjung akan pendidikan informal anak, membuat proses pencapaian tujuan wisata Brawijaya Edupark tidak maksimal.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Pariwisata, Branding, Brawijaya Edupark

Abstract

Malang City is one of the cities that has many cafes for the younger generation. These cafes compete to get consumers through various strategies, such as using Instagram. One of the exciting cafes in Malang is Oxygen Cafe because it is based on the arts, culture, and literature community. This study aims to see the effectiveness of using Instagram @Oksigen_Cafe in maintaining relationships with its customers through the circular model of some from Regina Lutrell, namely, share, optimize, manage, and engage. This study uses a qualitative method, the primary data source in the form of documentation @Oksigen_Cafe, then strengthened by secondary sources in interviews with cafe owners. The results show that this cafe makes maximum use of Instagram by uploading any exciting information (share) and having an empathetic conversation with followers (engage). However, social media optimization still lacks (optimize), including the lack of understanding of how to use marketing tools, both free and paid marketing (manage). The advantages of Instagram @Oksigen_Cafe, especially in the arrangement of feeds and stories that are compact and based on trending moments. In conclusion, @Oxygen_Cafe can grow through Instagram but still lacks in the technical field of social media. This study suggests that @Oxigen_Cafe expands technical understanding of the use of social media to maximize the potential of Instagram as a way to increase customer engagement.

Abstract

Abstrak Iklan menjadi alat promosi yang juga dapat menyebarkan ideologi, gaya hidup, dan budaya yang mempengaruhi pembentukan persepsi publik. Salah satu masalah dalam iklan adalah bias representasi gender dalam iklan. Sebelumnya Pria dalam iklan dicitrakan sebagai makhluk yang kokoh dan tangguh. Di sisi lain, wanita sebagai makhluk yang lemah lembut dan anggun. Namun saat ini konsep gender dalam iklan telah berubah, seperti pada iklan kosmetik Nature Republic yang menggunakan model pria yaitu idola K-pop EXO sebagai model iklannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana citra seorang pria ditampilkan dalam sebuah iklan kosmetik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes dengan objek penelitian yaitu iklan kosmetik Nature Republic “12 Shades of Light” yang terdiri dari 6 versi video. Penelitian ini menampilkan berbagai citra yang divisualisasikan melalui gaya rambut, efek pencahayaan, warna, gaya pakaian, ekspresi, dan gestur tubuh. Diantaranya adalah citra pria cantik, pria gentleman, pria flamboyan, pria anggun, pria misterius, pria lugu, pria sensual, pria menawan, pria imut, pria baik, pria pemberani dan citra dari seorang pria seksi. Gambar-gambar ini menunjukkan standar baru dalam maskulinitas. Bahwa kini, penampilan yang rapi dan penampilan fisik yang prima merupakan hal yang wajib dimiliki oleh seorang pria. Kosmetik menjadi kebutuhan para pria masa kini untuk menunjang penampilan mereka. Gambar-gambar yang ditampilkan menunjuk pada jenis pria maskulinitas lembut ini menunjukkan bagaimana media menetapkan standar baru untuk pria. Pria bisa menjaga penampilan dan menunjukkan sisi lembutnya. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa gender merupakan hasil konstruksi sosial yang akan terus berubah dari waktu ke waktu. Abstract

The implementation of CSR is important for companies to balance between aspects of economic, social, and environmental communities. This study aims to determine the implementation of CSR and what are the supporting factors and inhibitions of PT CSR implementation. PJB UBJOM Pacitan. The method used is qualitative with data collection through observation, interview, and documentation. Results of this study explain that PT. PJB UBJOM Pacitan has implemented CSR in various aspects, including employee training and certification, community empowerment in the economic field, distribution of street lighting, implementation of handling management systems, and building conservation turtles and water. The target of the program also includes the village, sub-district, and the district. Community enthusiasm and support from the government are supporting factors in CSR, while the lack of budget and social jealousy are factors inhibiting CSR. In the future, it is necessary to set long-term and short-term targets in CSR implemented and the programs implemented are well focused on empowerment. Penerapan CSR penting dilakukan bagi perusahaan guna menyeimbangkan antara aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi CSR serta apa faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi CSR PT. PJB UBJOM Pacitan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa PT. PJB UBJOM Pacitan telah menerapkan CSR di berbagai aspek, meliputi pelatihan dan sertifikasi karyawan, pemberdayaan masyarakat di bidang ekonomi, pemerataan penerangan jalan, penerapan sistem manajemen penanganan, serta membangun konservasi penyu dan air. Sasaran program yang dijalankan juga mencakup pada tingkat Desa, Kecamatan, hingga Kabupaten. Antusias masyarakat dan dukungan dari pemerintah menjadi faktor pendukung dalam CSR, sedangkan minimnya anggaran dan kecemburuan sosial menjadi faktor penghambat CSR. Untuk kedepannya, perlu menentukan target jangka panjang dan jangka pendek dalam CSR yang diterapkan dan program yang diterapkan baiknya berfokus pada pemberdayaan.

Abstract

The Instagram @kulinersby social media account is one of the platforms that has been promoting culinary tourism in the city of Surabaya since 2014. This study aims to look at optimizing the @kulinersby Instagram account as one of the culinary tourism promotion media. Several social media marketing concepts are used to see how the optimization works, namely content creation, content sharing, connecting, and community building. All uploads and interactions of followers on the account become primary data sources, then compared with secondary data in interviews with the account manager, namely Syafira Defani Putri. The results of this study indicate that @kulinersby has implemented good management in several aspects, especially for content management, starting from its creation, content sharing such as consistently uploading content and sharing food themes, to connecting with followers through interaction and discussion, as well as collaborating with foodvloggers. Meanwhile, for community building, @kulinersby is still adapting with many communities to be uniform and work well together. This research suggests that @kulinersby owners take full advantage of Instagram by considering various new features and Instagram business insights as evaluation and development material.
