Abstract

Berkualitas atau tidaknya mutu pendidikan SMK yang ada di Indonesia sangat dipengaruhi oleh sistem pendidikan yang diterapkan oleh pemerintahan Indonesia saat ini. Pendidikan Sistem Ganda merupakan sistem pendidikan yang menerapkan teknik pendidikan di sekolah dan di dunia industri. Salah satu program dari pendidikan sistem ganda yaitu Praktik Kerja Industri. Dengan melihat penilaian dunia usaha dan dunia industri terhadap kinerja siswa praktikan selama masa praktik kerja industri (prakerin) itu salah satu upaya dalam mengembangkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) untuk mengetahui tanggapan dunia industri dalam pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri siswa DPIB SMKN 2 Garut ditinjau dari aspek soft skills dan (2) untuk mengetahui tanggapan dunia industri dalam pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri siswa DPIB SMKN 2 Garut ditinjau dari aspek hard skills. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui kuesioner. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan kepada pembimbing atau pendamping siswa prakerin di tiap perusahaan yang telah bekerja sama dengan Program Keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) sebanyak 28 perusahaan, maka teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dan pembahasan secara keseluruhan dunia industri menanggapi kemampuan siswa DPIB pada soft skills yaitu baik sedangkan hard skills kurang baik dalam pelaksanaan prakerin, karena ada hal-hal yang belum tercapai dengan maksimal pada tiap indikatornya. Pihak sekolah dapat meningkatkan semua aspek pengembangan pembelajaran siswa SMK, dengan begitu tentu akan meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi siswa sehingga dapat memenuhi kriteria sumber daya manusia yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia industri.The Industry's Response to Soft Skills and Hard Skills in the Implementation of Industrial Work Practices for Students of DPIB SMKN 2 GarutAbstractThe quality or not of the quality of SMKN in Indonesia is greatly influenced by the education system implemented by the current Indonesian government. Dual System Education is an education system that applies education techniques in schools and in the industrial world. One of the dual system education programs is Industrial Work Practices. By looking at the assessment of the business world and the industrial world of student performance during the period of industrial work practice it is one of the efforts in developing the quality of human resources. Therefore, this study aims to (1) find out the responses of the industrial world in the implementation of industrial work practices of DPIB SMKN 2 Garut students in terms of soft skills; and (2) to determine the response of the industrial world in the implementation of industrial work practices of DPIB SMKN 2 Garut students in terms of hard skills. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through questionnaires. Questionnaires were distributed to mentors or mentors of students in the industry in each company that had collaborated with the 28 Model Building Design and Information Skills Program (DPIB), so the sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling technique. Based on the findings and discussion as a whole the industrial world responds to soft skills and hard skills possessed by DPIB students both in the implementation of internship. But there are things that have not been achieved to the maximum on each indicator of soft skills and hard skills. The school can improve all aspects of the development of vocational student learning, thereby increasing the quality of student competence so that it can meet the human resource requirements needed by the industrial world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan mengajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan DPTS FPTK UPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif.Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PTB yang telah menyelesaikan praktik kerja industri, masih aktif sebagai mahasiswa, dan telah menyelesaikan PPL.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 37 orang mahasiswa. Validitas instrument dilakukan dengan metode judgement expert dan uji reliabilitas dengan rumus Alpha. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan melalui beberapa uji. Dari beberapa pengujian yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil diantaranya: 1) Pada pelaksanaan Praktik kerja Industri yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa PTB DPTS FPTK UPI yang terdiri atas pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi telah terlaksana dengan sangat baik. 2) Kesiapan Mengajar pada pelaksanaan PPL dengan sub indikator kesiapan merencanakan pembelajaran dan kesiapan mengelola proses pembelajaran pun telak terlaksana dengan sangat baik. 3) Pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Industri memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap Kesiapan Mengajar Mahasiswa PTB DPTS FPTK UPI pada pelaksanaan PPL.The Influence of Industrial Work Practices on Teaching Readiness of Building Engineering Education Students, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesian AbstractThis research aims to find out how much the impact of internship towards teaching readiness of Building Engineering Education Student DPTS FPTK UPI. This research used descriptive correlational method with quantitative approach. The population of this research are active Building Engineering Education Student who finish the internship and finish to teach at vocational school courses. The sample of this reseach are 37 college student. The validity test used judgement expert method and the reliability test used Alpha formula. The data obtained were then analyzed by going through several test. From that several test, the result obtained include: 1) In the implementation of Internship carried out by Building Engineering Education Student DPTS FPTK UPI which consists of organizing, implementating and valuating, it has been carried out very well. 2) Teaching readiness in the implementation of teach at vocational school courses with sub indicators of readiness to manage the learning process were also carried out very well. 3) The implementation of internship has positive effect on teaching readiness of Building Engineering Education Student DPTS FPTK UPI in the implementation of teach at vocational school courses.

Abstract

In accordance with the core competencies and aspects of achievement in the Engineering Drawing subject, a portfolio-based assignment method is given whose contents are a collection of student pictures. This study aims to see how the effectiveness of portfolio-based assignments on the achievements that must be obtained in the subject of Engineering Drawing. The results of this study indicate that in the student learning process the teaching materials used are less effective, the delivery of teaching materials is quite effective, portfolio-based assignments are quite effective, and task assessment is less effective. On learning outcomes, on average, students get good grades with reference to the lowest score criteria, students achieve complete learning using the KKM.

Abstract

Along with advances in science and technology, the development of the building sector is also increasing. Multi-storey buildings are an alternative to meet the needs of big cities with very limited land. The rapid development of construction project development, in addition to providing benefits, can also cause the risk of accidents that can cause disruption or cessation of project work activities. The literature review aims to review the potential for work accidents and risk assessments on construction projects. A literature review is based on issues, methodologies, similarities and research proposals. Based on the result of 8 studies, it was found that the high-risk category is the risk of falling from a height, workers buried by avalanches during excavation work, the risk of being hit by material, and being electrocuted during excavation work with tools and equipment accidents. Based on the identification and assessment, it was found that the work of the upper structure has more risk, and the average risk index is greater than that of the lower structure.

Abstract

As the population grows rapidly and the standard of living increases, the demand for housing will increase. One way to meet housing needs is to build housing. Housing development must be in accordance with careful planning in determining the investment model to be made in housing development. The initial stages of housing development start from surveying the location, number and type of houses to be built, marketing, to selling to consumers. The housing development process must also be calculated economically with the investment method, to find out whether this housing can be economically profitable or not. Based on the calculation of investment analysis with an investment period of 6 years, the Net Present Value (NPV) is Rp. 33,716,228,908 (NPV0), the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 23,18% (IRRMARR), Payback Period (PP) in the 3rd year to 11th months is smaller than the 6 year investment period, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) is 1.42 (BCR 1), and Break Event Point (BEP) gets a percentage for type 30/60 of 90% with 132 units, type 36/60 by 69% with 207 units, type 36/72 by 56% with 172 units, and type 48/84 by 48% with 32 units. And from the sensitivity analysis results it is known that housing investment Puri Mahkota Muktiwari will still be feasible if the increase in investment costs is less than 20.15%, the decrease in the occupancy rate is not more than 16.74%, the decrease in the selling price level is not more than 16.7% and the increase in loan interest rates is less of 122.22%. Keywords : Investment Feasibility,Housing, industrial estate, Investment analysis, Sensitivity Analys

Abstract

Building maintenance is an activity to maintain the reliability of the building so that it remains functional following the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 24 / PRT / M / 2008 concerning Building Maintenance Guidelines; building maintenance includes architectural, structural, and mechanical maintenance. This problem must be considered during building construction to realize the use of structures that fulfil requirements for efficiency, environmental harmony, safety, health, comfort, and convenience. With regular maintenance, the building can achieve its design life with a minor frequency of damage and repair. The cost of building maintenance will increase yearly according to the inflation increase in each region.   This study aims to analyze the maintenance costs of the Sports Center building using the LCC (Life Cycle Cost) method with architectural aspects (walls, ceilings, and floors) within the next 20 years. Life cycle costs (LCCs) are costs required by a building over the life of its plan. This approach assesses the total cost of an asset over its life cycle, including initial capital costs, maintenance costs, operating costs, and the residual value of an asset at the end of its life. The study's findings demonstrate how to create a model for predicting maintenance costs. According to this, the Sports Center building must spend IDR 1.445.082.148,15 on maintenance over the next 20 years. The following includes IDR 280.180.770,42 for ceiling maintenance, IDR 338.260.528,79 for walls, and IDR 826.640.848,94 for flooring.
