Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis jumlah permintaan buah melon, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan buah melon di Kota Mataram dan elastisitas permintaan buah melon akibat adanya perubahan harga dan pendapatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara purposive sampling yaitu di Pasar Mandalika dan Arena Buah Cakranegara. Penentuan responden dibagi menjadi 2 kategori yaitu pedagang buah melon dan konsumen buah melon, untuk pedagang buah melon ditetapkan seluruh pedagang buah melon, sedangkan untuk konsumen buah melon ditentukan secara quota sampling yaitu berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Jumlah permintaan buah melon per rumah tangga di Kota Mataram pada bulan Februari adalah rata-rata sebesar 64,75 kg. 2) Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap jumlah permintaan buah melon di Kota Mataram yaitu harga buah melon. 3) Elastisitas harga terhadap permintaan buah melon di Kota Mataram sebesar 1,295 (Eh>1) (elastis) dan menyebabkan kenaikan permintaan terhadap buah melon sebesar 1,295% bila harga turun 1%, sedangkan elastisitas pendapatannya sebesar 0,343 (Ep<1) (inelastis) dan menyebabkan kenaikan permintaan buah melon sebesar 0,343% bila pendapatan naik 1%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the added value of processing business based on cassava raw material in Gerung District, West Lombok Regency, (2) analyze the benefit of processing business based on cassava raw material in Gerung District, West Lombok Regency, and (3) analyze the inhibiting factors of processing business based on cassava raw materials in Gerung District, West Lombok Regency. This research uses a descriptive method. The types of data used are quantitative and qualitative data. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis using Hayami Method and profit analysis. The results showed that the added value was Rp. 9.571/kg (with a ratio of 67.79% and a profit rate of 80.33%) for cassava tape agroindustry, Rp. 18,191/kg (with a ratio of 71.34% and a profit rate of 88.20%) for cassava chips agroindustry, and Rp. 5.558/kg (with a ratio of 28% and a profit rate of 64.02%) for cassava pulp agroindustry. Profit of Rp. 384,782/production process and Rp. 10,389,114/month obtained from cassava tape agroindustry, Rp. 741,224/production process and Rp. 8,894,688/month obtained from cassava chips agroindustry, and Rp. 53,377/production process and Rp. 1,281,048/month obtained from cassava pulp agroindustry; and The inhibiting factors faced by processed entrepreneurs based on cassava raw materials in Gerung District, West Lombok Regency are the lack of raw material availability and limited working capital.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this study are (1) To analyze the added value of a Milk Candy agroindustry business in North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency (2) To analyze how much profit the Milk Candy agroindustry business is in the North Moyo District Sumbawa Regency (3) To identify the obstacles faced by the agroindustry business Milk Candy in North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method which is a method that aims to solve problems that occur at the present time by collecting data, compiling data, analyzing data and then drawing conclusions. The unit of analysis in this research is the milk candy agro-industry in North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency. This research was conducted in North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency. North Moyo Subdistrict consists of 6 villages namely, Baru Tahan Village, Kukin Village, Penyaring Village, Pungkit Village, Sebewe Village and Songkar Village. Of the six villages, the Filter Village was designated as a research sample area (purposive sampling) based on the consideration that there was a milk candy agroindustry in the Filter Village, North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency. Respondents in the study were conducted in a census meaning that all existing and still active agro-industry entrepreneurs in the Filter Village of North Moyo District were used as respondents. Analysis of the data used in this study includes: Value Added Analysis, Profit Analysis, and Obstacle Analysis using descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the average value added obtained by milk candy agroindustry respondents in North Moyo Subdistrict, Sumbawa Regency is Rp. 16,445 / liter with an added value ratio of 41.52%. The average profit on the milk candy agro-industry in North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency is Rp 225,984 / Production process or Rp 5,875,508 / month. Obstacles faced by milk candy agro-industry entrepreneurs in North Moyo Subdistrict, Sumbawa Regency include: (1) continuity of raw material availability (2) limited marketing reach of milk candy production. For fresh cow dairy entrepreneurs who want to get the maximum profit, it is recommended that the availability of raw milk candy agro-industry raw materials is sufficiently available to meet the needs of milk candy entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Produksi pisang yang tinggi di Kabupaten Lombok Utara (KLU) termasuk Kecamatan Gangga perlu dilihat sebagai peluang untuk meningkatkan kondisi kehidupan yang lebih bagi masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini secara umum adalah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan pelaku usaha agribsinis. Tahapan kegiatan untuk mencapai tujuan umum tersebut dilakukan melalui tujuan-tujuan khusus untuk meningkatkan kemampuan teknis dan manajemen daiam hal-hal sebagai berikut: Teknologi budidaya pisang, keputusan pemilihan usaha (termasuk jenis pisang, panen, pasca, dan pengolahan, kualitas produk, pemasaran produk, manajemen usaha). Peserta pelatihan merupakan pelaku agribisnis pisang, dan secara khusus dipilih ibu tani yang memiliki pisang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi dan praktik. Ceramah dibantu dengan penggunaan projector (LCD). Hasil kegiatan dinilai positif dengan proses yang berlangsung secara efektif. Hasil evaluasi ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan serupa ini perlu dilakukan kembali di lokasi yang sama untuk produk lainnya, atau di lokasi berbeda dengan produk yang sama atau berbeda

Abstract

Kabupaten Lombok Utara, termasuk Desa Gumantar, Kecamatan Kayangan, sedang giat melakukan pembangunan ekonomi dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya yang dimilikinya, seperti lahan pekarangan, ketersediaan air, kesesuaian iklim, dan ketersediaan sumber tenaga kerja keluarga petani. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan masyarakat lahan kering di Desa Gumantar Kecamatan Kayangan Kabupaten Lombok Utara, melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dalam beberapa aspek pemanfaatan sumberdaya alam dan manusia, serta penerapan iptek budidaya tanaman pekarangan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam bentuk ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik tentang aspek-aspek yang disuluhkan. Materi pelaksanaan kegiatan disampaikan langsung oleh tim pelaksana yang sekaligus menjadi narasumber, sehingga kegiatan dapat berjalan secara efektif. Hasil kegiatan dinilai positif dengan proses yang berlangsung secara efektif. Hasil evaluasi ini menyarankan bahwa kegiatan serupa ini perlu dilakukan kembali di lokasi yang sama atau berbeda, karena potensi dan peluang untuk pengembangan program Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari masih terbuka.

Abstract

Kabupaten Lombok Utara (KLU) sedang giat melakukan pembangunan di segala bidang, termasuk bidang ekonomi, antara lain dengan pengembangan agrowisata pada lokasi-lokasi yang potensial, seperti di Desa Gumantar, Kecamatan Kayangan. Pengembangan agrowisata ini salah satunya adalah dengan pengembangan sayuran dan buah-buahan. Untuk memperoleh manfaat maksimum dari produksi maka usaha tanaman dilakukan dengan pendekatan agribisnis, memadukan kegiatan dari hulu hingga hilir, dari pra produksi hingga ke konsumen. Wilayah yang ditetapkan sebagai lokasi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah Desa Gumantar Kecamatan Kayangan Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Tujuan kegiatan ini secara umum adalah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan pelaku usaha dalam wilayah agrowisata tersebut. Tahapan kegiatan untuk mencapai tujuan umum tersebut dilakukan melalui tujuan-tujuan khusus untuk meningkatan kemampuan teknis dan manajemen dalam bisnis terkait. Cakupan materi dirancang untuk mencapai efisiensi dan efektivitas operasi, dari dua sisi kegiatan bisnis yaitu peningkatan penerimaan dan pengurangan biaya operasi bisnis. Penyampaian materi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Evaluasi terhadap kegiatan menunjukkan hasil positif berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivasi usaha karena adanya potensi peningkatan keuntungan yang diperoleh dengan penerapan pengetahuan yang telah diberikan. Oleh karena itu kegiatan semacam ini perlu dilakukan lagi di lokasi-lokasi baru maupun pada bidang-bidang bisnis baru.

Abstract

The University of Mataram is coordinating the ARISA Corn (Applied Research and Innovation System in Agriculture) Intervention Project, which includes partners such as Bank NTB Syariah, PT. Syngenta, the Department of Agriculture, Retailer of Subsidized Fertilizers, and buyers of produce have exceeded their target of increasing 30% in revenue. The purpose of this study consisted of a general objective, namely to analyze the sustainability of the ARISA partnership project in the village of Gumantar, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency and a specific purpose to analyze the sustainability of the partnership of corn farmers who carried out the ARISA project in the village of Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency. This study uses descriptive methods and data collection techniques with survey techniques. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling (deliberately) with the consideration that only 1 of these villages participated in the ARISA project at the beginning of the project. The technique of determining respondents using proportional sampling was determined by 15 respondents because only the corn farmers participated in the ARISA project from the beginning to the end of the project. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that the sustainability of the partnership in the ARISA project is still ongoing even though the program has ended in 2018. The partnership between farmers and Unram does not continue in terms of the application of technology. The partnership with Bank NTB Syariah through the application of people's business credit applications and purchasing inputs according to recommendations with new suppliers is still ongoing. Field agricultural extension staff manage and coordinate fertilizer distribution with RDKK and merchants. The collaboration with yield buyers continues with new purchasers.

Abstract

This study aims to : (1) Analyze the marketing system of bamboo handicrafts currently taking place in Loyok Village, Sikur District; (2) Analyze the right marketing strategy to market bamboo handicraft products in Loyok Village, Sikur District. The research method in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques were interview and observation. The unit of analysis in this research is the bamboo handicraft entrepreneur in Loyok Village, Sikur District. Sources of data used were primary and secondary data. The types of data used in this research were qualitative and quantitative data. Analysis applied were is descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the marketing system carried out by entrepreneurs of woven bamboo crafts in Loyok Village was an indirect marketing system, uses marketing channels or marketing media. The marketing strategy for bamboo handicrafts in Loyok Village is a turn around strategy. This strategy makes use opportunities as well as possible and overcomes the weaknesses of the bamboo craft business. The main strategy is to have a business license and have their own brand, expand the marketing scope of bamboo crafts, and market bamboo crafts online. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis produksi gula aren di Desa Kekait Kecamatan Gunungsari Kabupaten Lombok Barat, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi gula aren di Desa Kekait Kecamatan Gunungsari Kabupaten Lombok Barat, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi pengusaha dalam usaha gula aren di Desa Kekait Kecamatan Gunungsari Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha gula aren di Desa Kekait Kecamatan Gunungsari Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Kekait Kecamatan Gunungsari Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Dari tujuh dusun, dipilih tiga dusun secara sengaja (Purposive Sampling) yang terdiri dari Kekait Thaibah, Kekait I dan Kekait II. Penentuan jumlah responden ditentukan secara “Quota Sampling” sebanyak 30 responden. Pengambilan responden pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara “Accidental Sampling”. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam pengolahan hasil penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan produksi gula aren di Desa Kekait Kecamatan Gunungsari Kabupaten Lombok Barat yaitu 8 kg/responden. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi gula aren yaitu jumlah nira. Kendala-kendala yang dihadapi pengusaha dalam usaha gula aren diantaranya cuaca tidak menentu sebanyak 21 pengusaha (70%) dan kurangnya tenaga kerja sebanyak 9 pengusaha (30%).

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analysis of the entrepreneurial behaviour of garlic farmers as entrepreneurial farmers in the garlic production center area in Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency. This research was conducted in March–May 2023. The data used were primary data obtained through interviews with 80 farmers in Sembalun Bumbung and Sembalun Lawang Village; both locations were chosen because they were villages with the highest number of farmers, production, and garlic land area in Sembalun District. The analysis of the Entrepreneurial Behavioural Index (EBI) is carried out statistic descriptive using FAO ideas. It is classified into four components: Entrepreneurial Qualities, Entrepreneurial Competencies, Managerial Competencies, and Technical Competencies. The results showed that the entrepreneurial activities of garlic farmers in the national garlic production center area of Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, were still dominated by low levels of entrepreneurial activity in the criteria of entrepreneurial qualities  (63.75%) and entrepreneurial competencies (51.25%). While the Managerial  Competencies criteria are at a high level (51.25%), and the Technical Competencies criteria are at a moderate level (51.25%). As consequences, training, farmers’ field schools, and extension services are still needed to improve the quality and competence of garlic farmers as a whole.
