Abstract

Drinking water is needed for the body and plays an active role in the hydrolysis process, a major process in digestion. Regularly consuming water, helps as a solvent for nutrients in the form of monosaccharides, amino acids, fats, vitamins, minerals as well as oxygen and hormones, all of which are carried to all cells in need. The benefits of consuming water regularly are very good for the body because it functions as a solvent to transport the rest of the metabolism, carbon dioxide, urea and excess glucose in the body due to the inability of the pancreas to produce insulin, so that blood sugar levels increase (hyperglycemia), this is one of the causes. signs of diabetes mellitus. This study aims to examine the effect of drinking water on hyperglycemia in diabetes mellitus. This study aims to examine the effect of drinking water on hyperglycemia in diabetes mellitus. This study used a pre-experimental design with a static group comparation design, using accidental sampling technique, statistical analysis of paired t test and independent sample t test with a significant value of α <0.05. The results of the study, there was a significant difference in the level of blood sugar levels in the intervention group with the control group. Conclusion, drinking water regularly and in accordance with regulatory limits, will help physiologically reduce blood glucose levels in addition to getting insulin therapy.

Abstract

Guided imagery a method of delivering a treatment that makes it easier for someone to follow the recommended orders practicically, by looking at the steps through clear illustrated guides. Progressive muscle relaxation technique (PMR) is one of the independent nursing interventions that is easy to do by looking at the guide through pictures. It aims to help control blood glucose levels. This therapy maximizes muscle and breathing exercises, this technique also has a good impact on reducing anxiety, stress, fatigue, improving sleep quality and quality of life of patients suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus. The research method used pre-experimental design with static group comparison. the test results obtained a value of P=0.030 (P-Value <0.05) the meaning that there is an average difference in the results of blood glucose levels before and after in the treatment group and the control group, namely 131.13 mg/dl, before giving the PMR technique an average result of blood glucose is 304.63 mg/dl. The conclusion is that the PMR technoique is recommended for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus to help blood glucose control.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Jumlah penderita DM dari tahun ke tahun terus mengalami peningkatan. WHO memperkirakan jumlah penderita DM di dunia pada tahun 2015 sebanyak 415 juta dan meningkat menjadi 642 juta di tahun 2019 . Hiperglikemia jangka panjang dapat mempengaruhi sirkulasi pembuluh darah perifer yang kemudian menyebabkan neuropati (Waspadji, S., 2010). Neuropati perifer sering mengenai saraf ekstremitas bawah (Smeltzer & Bare, 2013). Kejadian Diabetic Foot saat ini masih cukup tinggi dan dialami oleh 85% pasien dengan diabetes melitus (DM). Satu dari setiap 20 pasien DM rawat inap menderita diabetic foot menurut tinjauan sistematis pasien dengan diabetes (Gitarja, 2017). Anggota tubuh bagian bawah hilang karena diabetes setiap 20 detik (Yazdanpanah et al., 2018). Metode perawatan luka yang sesuai kebutuhan akan membantu meningkatkan proses penyembuhan.Saat ini, teknik perawatan luka telah banyak mengalami perkembangan, dimana perawatan luka telah menggunakan balutan yang lebih modern. Prinsip dari manajemen perawatan luka modern adalah mempertahankan dan menjaga lingkungan luka tetap lembab untuk memperbaiki proses penyembuhan luka, mempertahankan kehilangan cairan jaringan dan kematian sel (Ismail, Dina Dewi Sartika, Lestari, n.d.). Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat berupa edukasi dan implementasi perawatan luka klien dengan Diabetes Mellitus bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang penyakit diabetes mellitus, metode perawatan yang tepat pada kondisi diabetic foot dan membantu proses penyembuhan luka. Metode yang digunakan adalah edukasi tentang penyakit diabetes mellitus dan Implementasi perawatan luka modern. keluarga dan klien memahami tentang penyakit diabetes mellitus dan metode perawatan luka klien dengan diabetes mellitus terutama yang mengalami diabetic foot secara tepat, klien merasa nyaman setelah dilakukan tindakan. Pentingnya informasi yang benar mengenai perawatan luka modern pada penderita diabetes mellitus, baik pada anggota keluarga maupun pada klien penderita diharapkan mampu membantu meningkatkan proses penyembuhan luka dan menekan angka kesakitan klien diabetes mellitus yang mengalami diabetic food.Kata Kunci: Diabetes Mellitus, Diabetic Foot, Perawatan Luka Modern ABSTRACT The number of DM sufferers from year to year continues to increase. Long-term hyperglycemia can affect peripheral blood circulation which then causes neuropathy (Waspadji, 2010). Peripheral neuropathy often affects the nerves of the lower extremities (Smeltzer & Bare, 2013). The incidence of Diabetic Foot is still quite high and is experienced by 85% of patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). One out of every 20 in patients with diabetes mellitus suffers from diabetic foot according to a systematic review of patients with diabetes. Lower limbs are lost due to diabetes every 20 seconds (Yazdanpanah et al., 2018). Appropriate wound care methods will help improve the healing process. Currently, wound care techniques have undergone many developments, where wound care has used more modern dressings. The principle of modern wound care management is to maintain and maintain a moist wound environment to improve the wound healing process and maintain tissue fluid loss and cell death (Ismail, 2010). The implementation of community service in the form of education and implementation of wound care for clients with Diabetes Mellitus aims to increase public understanding about diabetes mellitus, and appropriate treatment methods for diabetic foot conditions, and assist the wound healing process.The method used is education about diabetes mellitus and the Implementation of modern wound care. Family and clients understand diabetes mellitus and wound care methods for clients with diabetes mellitus, especially those who experience diabetic foot appropriately, the client feels comfortable after the procedure. The importance of correct information regarding modern wound care for people with diabetes mellitus, both for family members and for patients with patients, is expected to be able to help improve the wound healing process and reduce the morbidity of diabetes mellitus clients who experience diabetic food.Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Diabetic Foot, Modern Wound Care

Abstract

Acne vulgaris terjadi karena proses inflamasi kronis pada lapisan kulit yang berasal dari folikel polisebasea akibat faktor ekstrinsik seperti stres, diet, iklim, dan kosmetik serta kadar hormon dehidroepiandrosteron sulfat serum. Derajat acne vulgaris berpengaruh pada pertimbangan individu untuk menetapkan komitmen diri terhadap penggunaan masker medis yang selalu digunakan sekarang ini, setiap kali kegiatan diluar rumah dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain, untuk meminimalisir tertular virus covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui hubungan derajat acne vulgaris berdasarkan jenis kulit wajah dan moisturizer terhadap penggunaan masker medis. Desain penelitian, kuantitatif korelasi dengan cross sectional, melakukan observasi kulit wajah menurut standar Lehmann Grading System menggunakan kaca loop, terhadap 74 responden perempuan. Hasil penelitian, responden berjenis kelamin perempuan, didapatkan 25 responden dengan rata-rata usia 20 tahun sebesar 33,8%, berdasarkan jenis kulit didapatkan 28 reponden sebesar 37,8% dengan kulit kombinasi dan 51 responden sebesar 68,9% yang memiliki derajat acne vulgaris sedang. Kesimpulan, tidak ada hubungan secara signifikan antara derajat acne vulgaris pada jenis kulit wajah dan moisturizer terhadap penggunaan masker medis.

Abstract

Penelitian berjudul stress pasien gagal ginjal yang menjalani hemodialisa di RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin adalah menggunakan metode desain penelitian deskriptif dengan responden berjumlah 82 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan Teknik nonprobability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 44 orang (53,7%). responden berusia sekitar 56-64 tahun berjumlah 32 orang (39%).Jenis pekerjaan responden bekerja sebagai wiraswasta sebanyak 26 orang (31,7%). Lama menjalani hemodialisa responden menjalani hemodialisa dalam rentang waktu 1-3 tahun sebanyak 40 orang (48,8%). Tingkat stress responden mengalami stres dengan tingkat sedang sebanyak 33 orang (40,2%).

Abstract

ABSTRAK Peningkatan populasi lansia khususnya di Indonesia, dapat menimbulkan masalah Kesehatan seperti depresi. Gejala depresi pada lansia seringkali tidak terungkap jelas dan bisa terkait dengan perubahan fisik, penyakit, kehilangan, serta perasaan kesepian. Pengukuran tingkat depresi menggunakan Skala Depresi Geriatri (GDS) memberikan gambaran lebih lanjut tentang prevalensi depresi pada lansia, yang diperkirakan meningkat seiring pertambahan usia. Pada pengkajian tanggal 16 Oktober 2023, dihadiri 15 lansia di Kelayan B Gang JAIS RT. 009 RW. 001. Hasilnya, 11 lansia tidak mengalami depresi, sementara 4 lainnya mengalami depresi ringan. Tim pengkaji memberikan intervensi berupa terapi zikir dan dukungan keluarga kepada lansia yang mengalami depresi ringan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat depresi lansia dan memberikan pemahaman. Intervensi diberikan agar lansia mampu mengatasi depresi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari setelah memahami dan menerapkan intervensi yang diajarkan. Kata Kunci: Depresi, Lansia, GDS  ABSTRACT The increase in the elderly population, especially in Indonesia, can cause health problems such as depression. Symptoms of depression in the elderly are often not clearly revealed and can be related to physical changes, illness, loss, and feelings of loneliness. Measurement of depression rates using the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) provides a further picture of the prevalence of depression in the elderly, which is expected to increase with age. The assessment on October 16, 2023, was attended by 15 elderly people at Kelayan B Gang JAIS RT. 009 RW. 001. As a result, 11 elderly people did not have depression, while 4 others had mild depression. The review team provided interventions in the form of remembrance therapy and family support to elderly people with mild depression. This activity aims to determine the level of depression of the elderly and provide understanding. Interventions are given so that the elderly are able to overcome depression in daily life after understanding and applying the interventions taught. Keywords: Depression, Elderly, Geriatric Depression Scale

Abstract

ABSTRACT Education about the wound healing process is the main component of basic nursing intervention in helping to reduce anxiety levels in post-operative debridement, in this case, it is necessary to evaluate the patient’s understanding in receiving the information that has been conveyed by the nurse, so that the goal of reducing anxiety levels can be realized. Anxiety is one of the triggers for instability of vital signs which has an impact on the wound healing phase. The aim of the research was to look at the relationship between education on the wound healing process and the level of anxiety in patients after debridement surgery. This research is quantitative, non experimental, using cross-sectional with purposive sampling method and spearman rank correlation test analysis, a total of 73 respondents with data collection through questionnaires. The result showednthat respondents with no anxiety were 1 person (1.4%), mild anxiety were 17 people (23.3%), moderate anxiety were 42 people (57.5%), severe anxiety were 10 people (13.7%), very severe anxiety as many as 3 people (4.1%). The conclusion resulting from data analysis was asymp. Sig. (2-Tiled) P = 0.007, P < 0.005, there is a significant relationship between understanding and anxiety level in post-operative debridement patients.    Keywords: Education, Wound Healing, Anxiety, Post-Operative Debridement  ABSTRAK Edukasi tentang proses penyembuhan luka merupakan komponen utama dasar intervensi keperawatan dalam membantu penurunan level ansietas pada pasien pasca operasi debridement, dalam hal ini diperlukan evaluasi pemahaman pasien dalam menerima informasi yang telah disampaikan oleh perawat, agar tujuan penurunan level anisetas dapat terealisasi. Ansietas salah satu pemicu ketidakstabilan tanda-tanda vital yang berdampak terhadap fase penyembuhan luka. Tujuan penelitan melihat hubungan edukasi proses penyembuhan luka dengan level ansietas terhadap pasien pasca operasi debridement. Penelitian ini kuantitatif, jenis non eksperimental, menggunakan cross-secstional dengan metode purposive sampling dan analisis uji korelasi spearman rank, total 73 responden dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian responden dengan tidak ada ansietas sebanyak 1 orang (1,4%), ansietas ringan sebanyak 17 orang (23,3%), ansietas sedang sebanyak 42 orang (57,5%), ansietas berat sebanyak 10 orang (13,7%), ansietas berat sekali sebanyak 3 orang (4,1%).        Kesimpulan penelitian hasil analisis data didapatkan hasil Asymp. Sig. (2-Tailed) p = 0.007, p < 0.05, ada hubungan signifikan antara pemahaman dengan level ansietas pada pasien pasca operasi debridement. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Penyembuhan Luka, Ansietas, Pasca Operasi Debridement
