Abstract

In the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) course at Polmanbabel, students use a practicum table containing practicum equipment such as computer units, compressors, PLC units, pneumatic valves, sensors, jumper cables, etc. Before and after practicum, students are required to do an inventory of equipment and materials contained on this practicum desk. The inventory process is still done manually, where students write the name of the equipment, check the presence of the equipment, and calculate the amount. The thing that was complained by lecturers was the confiscation of practicum time as a result of the manual inventory process. Based on this, a new inventory system was created that uses the application and is equipped with a barcode scanner that is able to minimize the time and possibility of misplacement of the device. Based on the results of experiments, it can be seen that this system is able to minimize inventory time by an average of 14.65 minutes compared to manual inventory systems.

Abstract

Nitrate is one of the nutrients that can give an effect on the environment if it is applied in excess. It is also easily soluble in water and it has the potential to be a pollutant in groundwater by the over-process of fertilizer. Therefore, it needs a detected component to give the right measure for nitrate in the soil, called a nitrate ion sensor. It consists of three electrodes configuration, namely, working, counter, and reference electrodes with conductive polyaniline doped with Nitrate (NO₃‾) which is fabricated by thick film technology. In previous research, acidic media was used as a solvent for polyaniline, while this research used water (H2O) solvent. The result of characterization showed that particles were distributed evenly on the sample with the form of particles being small balls with a dimension of 0.18 µm and the percentage of atomic elements being: 91.96 % carbon, 3.14 % nitrogen, and 4.9 % oxygen. The performance of sensors was investigated using potentiostat with four concentrations of nitrate standard solution. The result showed good response with a voltage range in each concentration of nitrate standard solution being 0.5002 Volt (10 mg/l), 1.3552 Volt (20 mg/l), 1.1208 Volt (50 mg/l), and 0.8963 Volt (100 mg/l). It was found that nitrate sensors with nitrate-doped conductive polymer, polyaniline, as the sensitive membrane responded well to detecting nitrate elements in precision farming and the sensitivity showed that for every 1 mg/l concentration in nitrate standard solution, the voltage increases by 0.0007.

Abstract

Moodle and Classroom are some of the alternative learning media that can be used by teachers in improving the learning process more effectively. However, many teachers still do not understand how to utilize e-learning in learning process.  This program aims to improve the ability of teachers to utilize ICT for learning through Moodle and Classroom. The program activity includes the development of Moodle-based e-learning and training for teachers at SMP Harapan Sungailiat. The training results show that teachers’ skills in using the e-learning module are increase. The training questionnaire showed that 98% of the participants were able to use e-learning. The percentage of participants who quite agree that they are skilled at using e-learning is 52%. Meanwhile, 41% agree that they are skilled at using e-learning, and 6% strongly agree that they are skilled at using e-learning.

Abstract

Currently the industrial world continues to experience development, especially industries engaged in manufacturing. Product development by manufacturing companies is a must to meet consumer needs. One of the most efficient ways to develop these products is to use a 3D printer. The 3D printers on the market use the RAMPS 1.4 control board with the marlin firmware which is open source, while the 3D printers made use of the Arduino as the control system. This 3D printer has the ability to print straight lines with the Matlab application as an application to give commands to print. To get maximum results, it is necessary to prepare and test to get the appropriate parameters. Based on the testing of the tools that have been made, the 3D printer can function sufficiently with parameters such as nozzle temperature in the range of 150 ℃ and the distance between the nozzle tip and the print bed of 0.25 mm. The 3D printer that has been made has an accuracy rate of ± 9.4 mm with a resolution of 0.16 mm and a repitability of 0.2 mm.

Abstract

PDAM Belinyu currently has water quality that has not yet reached the standard. Therefore, a measuring instrument is needed to monitor the pH value, temperature, and water turbidity. This study aims to make it easier for PDAM employees to check the IoT-based pH, temperature, and turbidity values of water. The method used in this research is data collection, block diagram design, testing, and data analysis. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the percentage error on the pH sensor sample 1 is 0.000457671% and sample 2 is 0.068227799%, the percentage error on the temperature sensor is 0.7699637% and the average data on the clean water turbidity sensor is 0, 6 NTU and cloudy water of 25.8 NTU.

Abstract

Kabupaten Bangka dikenal akan produk makanan khas Bangka. Produk makanan ini sekarangsudah menjadi ikon atau oleh-oleh wisatawan saat berkunjung ke pulau Bangka. Sentra pembuatanmakanan khas Bangka banyak diproduksi oleh UMKM yang ada di Kampung Nelayan salah satunyaadalah UMKM “kakap” yang ada di Nelayan 2 Sungailiat. Proses produksi yang dilakukan olehUMKM/mitra  ini masih dilakukan secara  manual dengan  menggunakan peralatan  tradisional  yang membutuhkan  waktu  dan  tenaga  yang  cukup banyak. Kendala produksi pada mitra  ini menjadipenyebab proses produksi yang dilakukan tidak dapat mencukupi permintaan pasar. Oleh karena itu,pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mitra dalam meningkatkan produksinya denganmembuat mesin teknologi tepat guna terutama pada proses penggilingan ikan.Metode pelaksanaandalam kegiatan ini adalah pembuatan rancangan mesin, pembuatan dan perakitan mesin, pelatihan mengoperasikan  dan  merawat mesin dan kegiatan pendampingan kepada mitra secaraberkelanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dicapai, maka secara keseluruhan, penggunaanmesin teknologi tepat guna (TTG) yang diberikan ke mitra  yaitu mesin penggiling daging ikan dapatmeningkatkan kapasitas produksi lebih dari 100% bila dibandingkan dengan cara produksimenggunakan peralatan manual. Dari segi penggunaan dan perawatan mesin, mitra sudah bisamenggunakan mesin-mesin TTG dan mengganti suku cadang setelah diadakan pelatihan penggunaandan perawatan mesin. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan produksi dari mitra dapatmeningkat menjadi lebih maksimal. Kata Kunci : makanan khas bangka, TTG, mesin penggiling ikan
