Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the attitude of religious tolerance of class X students at YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang Senior High School. How religious tolerance is carried out by class X students from various religions and how student tolerance is formed among them. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. This research was conducted at YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang Senior High School in class X. The sample collection technique used the purposive sampling method with the criteria of all students in class X YPI Tunas Bangsa Senior High School, namely 5 non-Muslim students and 5 Muslim students. Data were collected through interviews and direct observation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the attitudes of students at YPI Tunas Bangsa Senior High School are very flexible in the relationship between Muslim students and non-Muslim students; 2) the treatment of students with different religions is the same without any difference, both in terms of mental and learning needs; 3) students respect each other, respect differences, recognize and allow the rights that exist in each religion; 4) students show enthusiasm in building friendships; 5) religious differences do not become a dividing wall between them; 6) Student solidarity is built on tolerance in everyday life at school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dalam mewujudukan tujuan pendidikan islam di SMPN 29 Palembang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 29 Palembang. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi informan kunci adalah pembina pramuka dan informan pendukung adalah Kepala Sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dapat dikatakan sudah cukup baik dapat dilihat dari indikator pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan yaitu koordinasi, motivasi, komunikasi, dan pengarahan. Kegiatan pramuka di SMPN 29 Palembang dapat menjadi salah satu strategi dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan islam. Analisis dilakukan melalui 1) kecerdasan berpikir (IQ) yaitu siswa mampu menyelesaikan masalah, terampil, rajin, cermat, dan jernih dalam berpikir; 2) kecerdasan emosional (EQ) yaitu siswa bertanggungjawab, berani, dan jernih dalam berkata; dan 3) kecerdasan spiritual (SQ) yaitu beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, cinta kepada alam, manusia, dan tanah air, dan jernih dalam berbuat.

Abstract

Madrasah is one of the Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that integrates Islamic education and general education. The birth of madrasah educational institutions is a desire to change existing institutions. The development of madrasah is in line with efforts to adapt and with the existing education system in Islamic boarding schools with general education. Madrasah plays a strategic role in responding to the impact of globalization, creating students with character who can have a strategic role in making social changes that positively impact society. Madrasah, as an educational institution, has a function to carry out social change: (1) develop a cultural analysis of traditional institutions, (2) make changes or modifications in traditional education, (3) make more fundamental changes to traditional institutions that are no longer by the times. Madrasah serves as a place for the process of social change to change whose progress is forward as a centre for shaping and developing the progress of students
