Abstract

Menulis surat lamaran pekerjaan (application letter) sangat penting bagi remaja, karena bermanfaat dalam memperoleh pekerjaan yang layak. Akan tetapi, masih banyak remaja mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis application letter. Dengan demikian, tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat khususnya Karang Taruna Desa Rambeanak Kecamatan Mungkid Kabupaten Magelang, dalam hal ini bagi mereka yang siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah service learning melalui tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, melayani, dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan ini adalah peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman tentang pembuatan application letter secara elektronik dan konvensional. Saran dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta diharapkan tetep mempertajam keterampilan application letter writing. Selain itu, peserta juga dapat sharing pengalaman terkait pelatihan ini kepada pihak lain.  Abstract. Writing an application letter is very important for teenagers because it helps them get a decent job. However, there are still many teenagers who have difficulty writing application letters. Thus, the purpose of this community service is to know and improve the understanding and skills of the community, especially Karang Taruna, Rambeanak Village, Mungkid District, Magelang Regency, in this case for those who are ready to enter the world of work. Implementing this activity is service-learning through three stages, namely preparation, serving, and evaluation. These training results are that participants gain knowledge and experience about making electronic and conventional application letters. Suggestions from this activity are that participants are expected to continue to hone their skills in writing job application letters to suit the needs of the world of work, and participants are expected to share their experience of writing job applications with others.

Abstract

Riset ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kelayakan sarana prasarana dalam mempengaruhi mutu SMK Negeri 1 Kudus. Metode desktriptif dan evaluasi dengan model CIPP digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dalam pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan interactive model oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa tingkat kelayakan sarana prasarana pada SMK Negeri 1 Kudus telah memenuhi standar Permendiknas Nomor 40 Tahun 2008 dengan keseluruhan nilai persentase sebesar 72,5% dan 83,44% atau dalam kategori layak. Kelayakan sarana prasarana sekolah sangat mendukung prestasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, prestasi belajar dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan sarana dan prasarana sekolah. Dengan demikian, kelayakan sarana prasarana sekolah mampu meningkatkan mutu sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors affect the performance of employees at the Finance Department of Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of the Finance Section of Unnes, amounting to 75 people. The sampling technique carried out in this study uses probability sampling with a proportional random sampling technique. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula with 63 people. The method of collecting data is the questionnaire method. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The analysis results show that the factors that influence employee performance are employee competence, work discipline, organizational communication, and work facilities. These variables have a significant value of less than 0.05, which is 0.000. For this reason, the four variables proved to affect employee performance significantly. Of the four variables, the organizational communication variable occupies the lowest position, so for employee performance to increase in the Finance section of Unnes, employees are expected to communicate well with superiors or other employees.
