Abstract

Closed questions offer poor information on student's ability to manage and apply knowledge. On the other hand, open questions have advantages because it may be used to grasp students' conceptual maturity and ability of communication. However, scoring open question answer is not trivial and time-consuming so an automatic scoring tool becomes necessary. An attempt was made to create a scoring tool for open and short text question answer in Bahasa Indonesia that resembles the way school teachers do scoring. Automatic scoring of a student answer was based on the similarity between the answer and predefined key answers. The proposed automatic scoring tool has a form of correlation with human scoring so that the model may be used to predict teacher scoring.

Abstract

In general, this study was aimed at developing a HOTS-based PPG assessment instrument at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The specific objective of this study was to design a HOTS-based PPG assessment instrument that is appropriate for PPG learning. Overall, this study uses a research and development approach. While the development of research is carried out in four stages, namely the stage of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The results showed that the level of differentiation of the questions that had been given was still low, with the index of difficulty of the questions which were also still not satisfactory. In fact, the quality of the deception has an indication that it is considered to be lacking.

Abstract

This research and development were carried out to produce valid and engaging interactive fractional learning media products using Articulate Storyline-based instructional games. This study used the type of research and development (RD) using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were the fifth-grader of State Elementary School 5 Saptorenggo Malang Regency. The techniques used in this study were validation questionnaires, observation, and interviews. Material experts, media experts, and teachers conducted a validity test to achieve a valid category result. The attractiveness test obtained a very high score and reached the very attractive category. The use of product development can improve student learning outcomes and provide an understanding of fractional material that is known from the value they get when doing practice questions and getting an average score above the Minimum Completeness Criteria. Thus, it can be said that this interactive media falls under the category of being appropriate for use in the learning process and being both valid and interesting. This research employed an Articulate Storyline-based learning game that covers the subject of mathematical fractions
