Abstract

Nilai sosial akhir-akhir ini menjadi persoalan yang muncul dalam dunia pendidikan. Sikap individualisme, lunturnya kebersamaan dan saling menghargai sudah menjangkiti siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai sosial dengan menggunakan metode bermain dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV SDN 3 Karanganom Klaten Utara. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model siklus dari Kemmis & Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak enam pertemuan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrumen penelitian meliputi observasi dengan lembar observasi, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan serta wawancara dengan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sosial siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan metode bermain. Melalui kegiatan bermain anak terlatih untuk saling bekerjasama baik dalam satu kelompok maupun antar kelompok dan terlatih untuk saling menghargai orang lain dalam memecahkan sandi dan menemukan makna yang terkandung di dalam kegiatan bermain. Melalui metode bermain nilai sosial siswa mengalami peningkatan secara kontinyu dari siklus ke siklus. Rata-rata skor nilai sosial siswa sebelum dilakukan tindakan adalah sebesar 37,26 meningkat menjadi 41,83 setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus 1. Selanjutnya pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 52,64.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' activeness by using Index Card Match for grade5 in Social Studies lesson of SDN 4 Barenglor. The active learning strategy of IndexCard Match type is a strategy of repetition (review) of the material, so the students canrecall the material they have learned. This research was a classroom action researchwith a cycle model from Kemmis & Taggart. This research taken two cycles, that wascycle I and cycle II. The data obtained are presented in the table, and analyzed withdescriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the application of Index CardMatch in in Social Studies learning can improve students' activity for Grade 5 of SDN4 Barenglor. Student activeness were increasing from cycle to cycle. Percentage ofstudents' activity before the action is only 18.75% and it increased into 45.87% incycle 1. In cycle 2 there was an increase of 76.39% of students participate actively inlearning activities. In addition to student activeness, student learning outcomes werealso increased. In the first cycle Social Studies learning with Index Card Match hadthe average value of student learning outcomes of pre-cycle amounted to 73.23% withthe percentage of learning completeness only amounted to 47.94%. It increased to78.17 with student completeness reaching 62.52%. In cycle 2, the average value ofstudent learning increased into 81.63 and students' learning completeness reaches91.69%.

Abstract

The purposes of the study were to: 1) Develop a problem based learning module for the fourth-grade students, and 2) Discover the feasibility of the learning module. This study was conducted by using Research and Development (RD) as proposed by Borg and Gall (1983). In the field test stage, 52 fourth-grade students were involved as participants in an experimental design. The participants were divided into two group, while one group conducted learning by implementing the PBL Module, the other group conducted learning on regular basis with textbook from the government. The qualitative data were analyzed using qualitative method, and the quantitative data were analyzed by using Wilcoxon test. The results of this study reveal that: 1) The PBL Module was developed in accordance with PBL syntax; 2) The results of the development PBL  modules was feasible to be applied. The feasibility of PBL Modules based on the expert validation, validation of practitioners, and small-scale trial respondents obtains the "Good" category; 3) PBL-based modules are effective for increasing students’ achievement motivation as indicated by the Wilcoxon test producing obtained probability (p) of 0.027 (p 0.05), Ho is rejected, so there are differences in achievement motivation before and after using the PBL module. Based on the research results it can be concluded that the characteristics of PBL-based modules are in accordance with PBL syntax; Decent and effective way to increase achievement motivation of the fourth-grade students.Keywords: module; problem-based learning; achievement motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar yang terjadi di sekolah dasar dikarenakan proses penyampaian pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru monoton, hanya menggunakan metode ceramah. Guru memilih menggunakan metode ceramah karena metode ini dianggap mudah Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui  model pembelajaran contextual teaching learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV.. Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan teknik pengumpulan data. tes dan non-tes. Subjek dalam  penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD N 4 Barenglor Klaten Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021 dengan jumlah keseluruhan 28 siswa. Hasil belajar siswa Kelas IV SD N 2 Barenglor mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari rata-rata kelas prasiklus yang semula sebesar 65,4 kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 74,3 dan pada akhir siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 78,7. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada prasiklus sebesar 25%, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 60,71%, dan pada akhir siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 78,57%.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 berdampak terhadap guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran dan penilaian di sekolah dasar. Dampak diterapkannya Kurikulum 2013 penilaian pembelajaran di sekolah dasar mengalami penataan pada standar penilaian. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik pada Kurikulum 13 ini guru harus mampu menerapkan dan mengembangkan penilaian autentik dalam berbagai situasi. Penilaian pada Kurikulum 2013 ini siswa tidak hanya dinilai dari aspek kognitifnya saja akan tetapi juga diamati pula keaktifan dan sikap-sikapnya ketika kegiatan pembelajaran sedang berlangsung. Penerapan penilaian autentik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tematik pada Kurikulum 2013 dimaksudkan agar pembelajaran benar-benar mencakup berbagai perkembangan potensi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru sekolah dasar dalam melakukan penilaian autentik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis model deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru di sekolah dasar sudah mampu melaksanakan penilaian autentik, yang meliputi penilaian sikap, penilaian pengetahuan, dan penilaian keterampilan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's strategy is in fostering student confidence in Elementary School 1 Krajan, Klaten Regency, for the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this study were 2 class teachers and grade 1 students. The research was conducted at Krajan 1 Public Elementary School, Klaten Regency from May to June 2023. Descriptive qualitative research methodology was used in this study. As opposed to data analysis, which comprises data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions, data gathering employs interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that each teacher has their own stategy to foster student self-confidence at Krajan 1 Public Elementary School, Klaten Regency, students at Krajan 1 Public Elementary School, Klaten Regency on average already have sufficient self-confidence, and there are studens who have confidence low self.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada jenjang sekolah dasar merupakan pondasi untuk jenjang selanjutnya. Jenjang pendidikan sekolah dasar sangat menentukan tingkat keberhasilan siswa pada jenjang selanjutnya. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan pada jenjang pendidikan sekolah dasar harus benar-benar diupayakan seoptimal mungkin. Keberadaan siswa dalam dunia pendidikan adalah sebagai subjek belajar. Siswa sebagai subjek pendidikan adalah faktor penentu dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Pendidikan yang menjadikan siswa sebagai pusat yang meberikan pengalaman kepada siswa sehingga mengembangkan daya nalar siswa sepanjang hayat dapat meningkatkan kualitas siswa. Keberadaan siswa dalam pembelajaran menjadi titik sentral pembelajaran harus selalu dikembangkan sehingga mencapai kualitas pembelajaran.
