Abstract

Abstract

research aims to determine the effect of simple modeling in learning physics for engineering students. The sample of this study were all 1st semester engineering students at the Medan Area University are 36. The research method used was the ex post facto method, by not providing treatment but directly conducting related evaluations. Engineering students' abilities in learning physics can be helped with simple modeling. Data analysis technique used is by regression analysis. From the results of the analysis it was found that Freghitung= 4.382 and Freg-table = 4.230 (Freg-count >Freg-table), so the conclusion of this study is that there is a very large the effect of simple modeling learning physics for engineering students at the University of Medan Area.

Abstract

The 2022 world cup is one of the much-awaited world events, especially for men. Even though there are some engineering students who are female, they are still dominated by men. The program to watch the world cup ball, whose broadcast time is more often at night or early in the morning, makes engineering students watching drowsy and unfit due to lack of sleep. This has an impact on the enthusiasm for learning in class which makes engineering students' motivation to study decrease.Data analysis technique used is by regression analysis. From the results of the analysis it was found that Freghitung= 4.282 and Freg-table = 4.130 (Freg-count Freg-table), sample of 36 engineering students in physic class was taken so the conclusion of this study is that there is a very large influence decreased enthusiasm for learning during the world cup  for engineering students at the University of Medan Area.

Abstract

Water is a natural resource with a very important function for human life and advancing general welfare, so water is the basic capital and the main development factor. After the eruption in the Mount Sinabung area, the supply of healthy water was inadequate both in quantity and quality, even though the Karo Regency government made efforts to provide this healthy water. For this reason, appropriate technology is needed in post-eruption water treatment in Mount Sinabung to become healthy water and be used by the local community. This research aims to provide information about Groundwater Conservation Technology in Facing Climate Change in the Disaster Areas of North Sumatra. The method used is quantitative with a purposive sampling technique by selecting 6 wells from 348 wells around Mount Sinabung. Chemical parameters for sampling each - each 1 liter of water to be put in bottles previously cleaned and rinsed with distilled water first, then dried. Laboratory Tests then examined them. There is a simple technology in the form of a water filter made from a mixture of sand, activated carbon, and dried starfruit leaves, which can neutralize contamination of substances such as sulfur and others in the water to obtain healthy water suitable for people in the disaster area.

Abstract

This research aims to see development of chitosan and nanodot as chemosensor for contact oil damage at magnetic fields on electric current in solar cell based on the results of 20 experiments. It can be concluded that for each equal increase in the magnetic field on a straight wire, the result is 0.25 T. For every constant increase in the strength of the electric current in the solar panel, the magnetic field also increases15 . The same data is obtained for the magnetic field of straight wire and circular wire because the magnitude of phi is neglected, because only phi is the differentiator. The greater the magnetic field, the greater the electric current in the solar cell and vice versa. This relationship is a straight line (linear)

Abstract

The research aims to  Study development of chitosan and nanodot as chemosensor for contact oil damage of rising electricity costs at home against leakage currents and current theft. This study it can be concluded that the leakage current with applicable experiments in the field is to unplug all equipment connections to the plug, turn off all switches, record the meter on the KWh meter, leave it for 2 hours, record the KWh meter again, compare the first record with the second record, if there is a difference value between the first recording and the second recording then the leakage current is proven to occur.
