This study aims to formulate a strategy to overcome anger through parables based on the book of Jonah 4. This research is a research and development model that adopts the 10 steps of development from Borg and Gall. Of the 10 steps, this study focuses on two main stages, namely the model development stage and the model validation stage. This study only limits it to expert testing and does not continue to test respondents. The model developed is a procedural model in the form of a strategy. Model development was carried out through hermeneutic and exegetical studies of Yunus 4. The developed model was then validated by 33 experts and practitioners by using a questionnaire technique that had its validity and reliability testing. The model is declared valid if the validation results are above the success criteria after going through the one-sample t-test assisted by SPSS 25. The results of this study are in the form of syntax or algorithm to overcome anger which consists of the following steps: (1) There is a cause of anger; (2) The occurrence of stage 1 anger; (3) parable; (4) The occurrence of stage 2 anger; (5) Presenting an explanation of the cause of the anger compared to the parable given; (6) Impact of explanation. This model has been validated by the validator with a t value of 2.09 which is significant at an error rate of 0.044 (less than 0.05). Thus, the model developed is well-validated, and feasible to use. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi mengatasi kemarahan melalui perumpamaan yang didasarkan pada kitab Yunus 4. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan model (Research and Development) yang mengadopsi 10 langkah pengembangan dari Borg and Gall. Dari 10 langkah yang ada, penelitian ini berfokus pada dua tahap utama, yaitu tahap pengembangan model dan tahap validasi model. Model yang dikembangkan adalah model prosedural berupa strategi. Pengembangan model dilakukan melalui kajian hermeneutik dan eksegesi terhadap Yunus 4. Model yang telah dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh 33 pakar dan praktisi yang dilakukan dengan teknik angket yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Model dinyatakan valid apabila hasil validasi bernilai di atas kriteria keberhasilan setelah melalui pengujian one sample t-test berbantuan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini adalah strategi yang berbentuk prosedur untuk mengatasi kemarahan yang terdiri dari langkah-langkah berikut: (1) Adanya penyebab kemarahan; (2) Terjadinya kemarahan tahap 1; (3) Pemberian perumpamaan; (4) Terjadinya kemarahan tahap 2; (5) Penyampaian penjelasan mengenai penyebab kemarahan yang dibandingkan dengan perumpamaan yang diberikan; (6) Dampak dari penjelasan. Model ini telah tervalidasi oleh validator dengan nilai t sebesar 2,09 yang signifikan pada tingkat kesalahan 0,044 (lebih kecil dari 0,05). Dengan demikian, model yang dikembangan tervalidasi dengan baik, dan layak untuk digunakan.

Peran wanita dalam kehidupan bergereja selalu menjadi diskusi yang mengundang pemahaman baru. Dimulai dari diperbolehkan atau tidaknya seorang wanita memimpin hingga dampak apa yang diberikan wanita dalam kehidupan berorganisasi gereja dan pertumbuhan keimanan jemaat. Namun untuk mencapai kepada tujuan tersebut, perlu adanya kapasitas dan kriteria yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik gembala wanita bagi pertumbuhan gereja secara kualitas di Gereja Bethel Indonesia Gloria Tikalong Mempawah Hulu, Kabupaten Landak Kalimantan Barat. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengungkapkan data lapangan secara deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik gembala bagi pertumbuhan gereja secara kualitas sebagai berikut: Kepemimpinan yang efektif, visi pemimpin, menjadi teladan dalam perkataan dan perbuatan, melayani dan bukan dilayani. Naluri seorang ibu, kuasa doa dan rela berkorban. Sedangkan dampak yang dihasilkan dari karakteristik gembala wanita adalah jemaat mengalami pertumbuhan secara kualitas dan pertumbuhan secara kuantitas.

The issue of Gender does not yet have a common ground. Women are always considered weak and helpless human beings. However, in some ethnic groups in Indonesia, the opposite is true. Men are deemed to have no value to women. This study aims to examine the concept of gender equality from a biblical perspective. As the primary source of teaching authority, the Bible provides a solid picture of gender equality. The research method used is exploratory qualitative. The results of the study state that the Bible consistently discusses the principle of gender equality. Because gender equality is essential, many activists voice this principle in the struggle for human rights. Therefore, viewing humans as the noblest created beings is the basis for this struggle for gender equality. Thus, opportunities and responsibilities in all aspects of life own by all humans and created by God.

Authority is always attached to a leader, including church leaders. However, the problem is that there are some leaders who abuse authority for their own interests. There are also other leaders who cannot use an authority in determining doctrinal and ethical matters. Therefore, this study aims to explain the authority of the disciples to bind and release the law in Matthew 16:19 and its implications for today's church leaders. This research method is qualitative with a hermeneutic approach based on a literature study. The results of the study show that the authority was given by God to expand His kingdom on earth so church leaders must use this gift for His glory and improve the quality of the congregation that God has entrusted to him.

Abstract The pandemic period provides various kinds of impacts, one of which is the impact on the leadership aspect. Changes in the situation can affect the leadership process, with this problem the church needs to have a strategy in dealing with this. Appropriate responses and changes are needed to offset the impact of the pandemic. It is in this changing situation that Transnational Christian leadership is needed. The purpose of this research is so that Christian leaders can be built in times of this Pandemic. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. To obtain the necessary data through a literature review for transformative leadership. From this research, the results were found, namely by building leadership that is Transnational Christian Leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic, it has an influence on those who are led to remain confident and confident, always optimistic and have an attitude of helping each other during this pandemic. The people they lead are expected to be more confident and optimistic to optimize their potential, as well as develop other abilities to be able to survive through difficult situations.

Gadgets have caused some users to experience phubbing, especially millennials. If this is allowed, their self-quality and social relations will worsen. Therefore, this study aims to explain the personification of women in Proverbs 8-9 and their relationship with gadgets, so that they can use gadgets wisely. This research method is qualitative descriptive based on a literature study. The results show that gadgets and the personification of women have three positive and negative elements in common: attractiveness, desire for relationships, and impact. This means that gadgets are like a knife that can be useful for cutting food if used correctly, and also killing humans if used incorrectly. That is why all users are advised to choose the path of wisdom, not foolishness, so that phubbing can be avoided. The way is to build an intimate relationship with God and fear Him. So, this study concludes that they must utilize gadgets, not be utilized by them. In other words, they need to use gadgets when it is necessary, not to satisfy desires, waste time, or distance themselves from physical socialization.

Abstract. This article was written with the purpose of studying the corelation between power relation and sexual abuse in the King David and Bathsheba narrative to raise awareness of the danger posed by a power relation. By using plot analysis in the 2 Samuel 11:1-27 narrative, it can be understood that with the power he possessed, David committed an abuse of power to commit acts of sexual abuse against Bathsheba. Bathsheba, in this case who was in a position of lower power, could not refuse King David's lust. Thus, power relation should not be taken for granted, but must be understood critically.Abstrak. Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk untuk mengkaji hubungan relasi kuasa dengan kekerasan seksual dalam narasi Raja Daud dan Batsyeba sehingga dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran akan bahaya yang ditimbulkan dari suatu relasi kuasa. Dengan menggunakan analisis plot pada narasi 2 Samuel 11:1-27, dapat dipahami bahwa dengan kekuasaan yang dimiliki, Daud melakukan tindakan penyalahgunaan kekuasaan secara sadar dan terencana untuk melakukan tindakan kekerasan seksual terhadap Batsyeba. Batsyeba, dalam hal ini yang berada di posisi kekuasaan lebih rendah, tidak dapat menolak keinginan Raja Daud tersebut. Dengan demikian, relasi kuasa semestinya tidak diterima begitu saja, namun harus dipahami secara kritis.

Abstract: The church today often experiences difficulties completing the Great Commission because most only move from one congregation to another. This research aims to explore the responses of the magi and Herod to the news of Christ's birth in Matthew 2:1-12 which is associated with the completion of the Great Commission. The research method used is descriptive qualitative based on a literature study. The study results show that the story offers two paths: the "way of the magi," which supports the Great Commission, and the "Herod's way," which rejects the Great Commission. So, the conclusion is that the church or congregation needs to avoid Herod's way and follow the magi's path. The reason is that someone who chooses this path will be ready to sacrifice to spread the Good News, just like the magi who sacrificed their wealth, energy, and time to seek and worship Him and preach the news about the King of the Jews. They are figures to emulate, not Herod, who is always selfish and even blocks the excellent news from the world.Abstrak: Gereja masa kini seringkali mengalami kesulitan dalam menuntaskan Amanat Agung karena sebagian besar mereka hanya memindahkan jemaat yang satu ke jemaat yang lain. Itulah sebabnya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri respons orang majus dan Herodes terhadap berita kelahiran Kristus di Matius 2:1-12 yang dikaitkan dengan penuntasan Amanat Agung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kisah tersebut menawarkan dua jalan, yaitu “jalan majus” yang mendukung Amanat Agung dan “jalan Herodes” yang menolak Amanat Agung. Jadi, kesimpulannya adalah gereja atau jemaat perlu menghindari jalan Herodes dan mengikuti jalan majus. Alasannya karena seseorang yang memilih jalan ini akan siap berkorban demi penyebaran Kabar Baik, sama seperti para majus yang mengorbankan harta, tenaga, dan waktu demi mencari dan menyembah-Nya serta memberitakan kabar tentang Raja orang Yahudi. Merekalah tokoh yang patut diteladani, bukan Herodes yang selalu mementingkan dirinya sendiri dan bahkan menghalangi berita sukacita tersebut dari dunia.
