Abstract

English training for UMKM at Rumah Kreatif BUMN Bogor – Cilegon was held by virtual learning using zoom meeting on April 29th, 2021. The aim of this training was to master public speaking with storytelling techniques that will be marketed directly by using social media. The participants were trained to describe the product that will be marketed and then tried to tell it in English. The training begins with an activity on understanding product storytelling. Participants were given examples of how to create product descriptions to be marketed through video storytelling. The material was delivered with a dialogue interactive method. In this training, the participants were asked to practice the storytelling technique one by one using their respective products. Product Storytelling training was going well and was successful for UMKM members who are currently required to use social media to improve their selling products through English storytelling

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis blog sebagai media promosi digital produk UMKM di wilayah kelurahan Dalung dipilih sebagai solusi peningkatan promosi karena blog merupakan teknologi yang mudah dibuat serta gampang dioperasikan teteapi mempunyai jangkau yang luas serta efektif sebagai media promosi karena tidak hanya berisikan tulisan tetapi juga visual seperti gambar. Pengandian diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan melalui observasi lapangan dan persiapan administrasi yang dibutuhkan, kemudian sosialisasi promosi digital dengan mengadakan seminar digital berbasis blog, serta menyiapkan media blog dan konten yang diambil secara langsung dari kegiatan usaha para UMKM yang terintegrasi dengan markeplace shopee, dan melakukan edukasi kepada aparat desa serta para pelaku UMKM menggunakan blog. Kemudian tahap terakhir melakukan melakukan supervisi untuk mengetahui sejauh mana media blog bisa mefasilitasi promosi digital. Keberadaan media blog diharapkan bisa diimanfaatkan berkelanjutan tidak hanya sebagai media digital marketing UMKM tetapi juga menjadi media informasi mengenai kekayaan budaya di lingkungan kelurahan Dalung Cipocok Jaya Serang Banten seperti pencak silat, debus dan wisata ziarah

Abstract

Nowadays, integration of technology through digital literacy in English instruction is demanded highly, but in practice, digital material like electronic modules still lacks investigation, especially in the ESP context. Therefore, this qualitative study tries to describe the digital literacy demand related to the material in ESP teaching and the implementation of digitalized based ESP material to facilitate law students’ digital literacy. 25 law students were involved as participants, with the questionnaires and interviews as the primary data and class observation as the secondary data. The results reveal that ESP language-teaching process demands digitalized material which facilitates the students’ needs in enhancing their English skills by exploring authentic learning sources digitally. The implementation of the English for Law e-module facilitates students’ digital literacy, especially in accessing the digital material in the e-module by 70% of the whole participants, 57,7 % of students use their digital literacy for finishing the lectures assignment, and 74% of students able to overcome their digital obstacle independently. The finding recommends the utilization of digitalized material based on e-module to cultivate the students’ digital literacy in ESP instruction.

Abstract

Community service carried out with educational methods to elementary school teachers in thr form of training. The training is about technology in language learning in improving literacy as a learning medium. The activity was held at SDN 1 Ciemas, Desa Sukawana, Kecamatan Curug, Kota Serang with 10 participants. The prospective participants involved included all elementary school teachers. Preparations were carried out starting from preparing supporting documents for activities, such as requests for letters of assignment, as well as coordination with prospective service participants through school leaders. At the implementation stage, this service took place face-to-face and was facilitated by the school. The speaker provides material according to the topic of discussion. The training is carried out interactively, there are questions and answers and direct practice carried out by the trainees and guided by the speaker. After the training ended, an evaluation was conducted. Starting from the preparation stage, the course of activities, and the response of participants during the training activities. The participants in the school still need to develop language learning media using technology

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (PJKR) yang berbasis pada permainan tradisional dengan tujuan meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu: (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) perancangan model pembelajaran, (3) validasi ahli, (4) uji coba terbatas, dan (5) uji coba lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran PJKR berbasis permainan tradisional yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa. Model pembelajaran ini memadukan aktivitas fisik dari permainan tradisional dengan tujuan pengembangan komponen kebugaran jasmani, seperti daya tahan, kekuatan, kelincahan, dan koordinasi. Penerapan model ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran PJKR serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap kebugaran jasmani mereka.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic over the past three years has severely affected the tourism industry, particularly in Banten. The substantial decline in tourist visits is attributed to concerns about various risks. In January 2023, the Indonesian government officially lifted the PPKM (social distancing) regulations, allowing most activities, including tourism, to return to normal. Recognizing this opportunity, it is imperative for all stakeholders to implement effective actions and policies to rejuvenate Indonesian tourism, with a particular focus on Banten. The objective of this study is to investigate the interplay between attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioural control. This research adopts a modified perspective from the theory of planned behaviour to understand tourist revisit intentions to Umang Island, Banten, with the mediating variable being destination image. A non-probability sampling technique was employed, and questionnaires were distributed using an online application (Google Form) to 165 respondents who had previously visited Umang Island. The findings reveal that the modified perspective of the theory of planned behaviour, encompassing attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioural control, significantly influences destination image. Additionally, the perception of risk significantly impacts tourists' intentions and attitudes towards returning, while subjective norms and perceptions of behavioural control play a significant role in the intention to revisit. Furthermore, attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioural control exert a direct influence on tourists' return visits, with destination image serving as a mediating variable
