Abstract

Learning paradigm actually tried to include various perspectives appraisal or assessment. In this case, the school with the learning paradigm focused not on quantity, but the quality of graduates, the aggregate growth of learning, and the development of learning technology. Changes in attitude and behavior are used as indicators that a student has experienced a learning event can vary, from simple to very complex. However, changes in behavior as evidence of the learning output can be classified into dimensions or categories, each of which has formal characteristics. There are different categories of learning outputs presented people who each have differences and similarities. One category of learning output is presented Benjamin Samuel Bloom. The description of taxonomy bloom, and to facilitate the teachers / lecturers / learners in choosing the appropriate verb associated with the purpose of learning, basic competencies and indicators of achievement, assessment, and so on. Abstract

The problems in this research is the development of teaching material for writing short stories containing ethical themes for students of class IX. The subproblemsare divided into: (1) how is the extent of learning characteristic ofwriting short stories containing ethical themes for students of class IX, (2) how isthe development of writing short stories containing ethical themes for students ofclass IX, (3) how is the effectiveness of learning material for writing short storiescontaining ethical themes for students of class IX. The purposes of this researchare: (1) to decribe the characteristics of short stories on the subject of writingshort stories containing ethical themes for students of class IX, (2) to develop thecharacteristics of short stories on the subject of writing short stories containingethical themes for students of class IX, (3) determine the effectiveness of teachingmaterial on the subject of writing short stories containing ethical themes forstudents of class IXThis study used research and development approach by applying a tenstepimplementation, referring to the theory of Borg and Gall (2002:571) whichare summarized into seven steps.Based on the research analysis and discussion, it is summarized into someconclusions; (1) a description of short stories characteristics in learning writingshort stories containing ethical values for IX grade students, which includes (a) adescription of short stories characteristics based on the short stories conditions,(b) a description of short stories characteristics based on the theme, setting, plot,characters, and the types of short stories, (c) a description of teaching materialscharacteristics in writing short stories is based on the book?óÔé¼Ôäós cover like the shape,the size, and thickness of books. (d) a description of teaching materialscharacteristics in writing short stories is based on the language used in the book.(e) while in the supporting aspect.Key words: Improvement of teaching, writing short stories, character building.

Abstract

Interest in foreign learners learn Indonesian poorly supported by the availabilityof teaching materials on the market. Therefore, the need for teaching materials BIPA asbalancing the amount of interest a foreign nation to learn Indonesian. In addition,teaching materials are very beneficial for the BIPA BIPA program for the teachingmaterials BIPA socio-cultural sphere we can put the wealth of identity, character, andour culture as a nation of Indonesia. Until now interactive learning books BIPA notdevelop optimally in Indonesia. One of the obstacles the development of interactivelearning media is less interactive media development technology mastered by theteachers and managers of BIPA in Indonesia. From the development of teachingmaterials BIPA social sphere obtained integrative teaching materials prepared andtailored to the learner's ability BIPA primary and secondary level, the aim of learningIndonesian to improve kemunikatif. Therefore, all material in this teaching materialaims to train the Indonesian language communicative ability for learners to be inIndonesia. Not to forget, an integrative model of teaching materials BIPA intermediatelevel presents records as a social and cultural responsibility of teachers in maintainingthe character and identity of Indonesia. in addition, and learning new vocabulary wordsthat exist in this teaching material can be fully used in everyday life.Keywords: teaching materials, BIPA, social sphere
