Abstract

This research entitled, The Effect of Growth Regulator Substances Rootone-F and Source Material Cuttings Cutting’s Growth Against Tembesu (Fagraea fragrans) at PT. Jorong Barutama Greston South Kalimantan. The research was conducted in Green House PT. Jorong Barutama Greston. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of live cuttings tembesu each treatment, determine the effect of growth regulators (Rootone-F) in accelerating the growth of cuttings tembesu and determine the concentration of growth regulators (Rootone-F) most good and appropriate sources of cuttings material for growth tembesu cuttings on each parameter. The research method used was a randomized block design (RAK), which consists of 5 treatments and 3 replications replications each consisting of 10 cuttings. Group and the treatment used is the source material and the concentration of ZPT cuttings. Observations were conducted to produce data AH0 life percentage = 80%, BH3 = 90%, CH0 and CH1 = 80%, the percentage of rooted AH2 and AH3 = 30%, BH1 and BH2 = 50% and CH4 = 60%. Data on the long shoots and treatment group with data analysis calculated F is smaller than F table is not significant. Data on the number of shoots and the treatment group with data analysis calculated F is smaller than F table is not significant. Root length data to the data analysis group F count = 4.751 ≥ F table = 4.458 is significant, while the effect of the treatment showed no significant effect. Data on the number of roots and the treatment group with data analysis calculated F is smaller than F table is not significant. Of the four parameters used concluded that the group of source materials and the provision of cuttings Rootone-F had no effect on the growth of cuttings Tembesu

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the growth response of eucalyptus to the application of granule biorganic fertilizer. The study was conducted in the village of Cindai Alus, South Kalimantan for 3 months. Observations were made by giving eucalyptus 4 treatments with different doses of bioorganic fertilizer, namely treatment A with a dose of 0 kg, treatment B with a dose of 0.5 kg, treatment C with a dose of 1 kg, and treatment D with a dose of 2 kg. To find out the dose of granular biorganic fertilizer that gives the best growth. There are 3 parameters taken in this observation, namely the increase in height, increase in diameter, and increase in the number of shoots. Based on data collection that has been done, it is known that treatment D has the best growth response, observational data shows that the increase in height is 23.22 cm, diameter is 2.86 mm, and shoots increase is 19 shoots.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respon pertumbuhan dari kayu putih terhadap pemberian pupuk biorganik granul. Penelitian dilakukan di desa Cindai Alus, Kalimantan Selatan selama 3 bulan. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan memberikan kayu putih 4 perlakuan dengan takaran pupuk biorganik yang berbeda yaitu perlakuan A dengan takaran 0 kg, perlakuan B dengan takaran 0,5 kg, perlakuan C dengan takaran 1 kg, dan perlakuan D dengan takaran 2 kg, pemberian perlakuan ini bertujuan untuk mengentahui takaran dari pupuk biorganik granul yang memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik. Terdapat 3 parameter yang diambil pada pengamatan ini yaitu pertambahan tinggi, pertambahan diameter, dan pertambahan jumlah tunas. Berdasarkan pengambilan data yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa perlakuan D memiliki respon pertumbuhan yang terbaik, data pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pertambahan tinggi sebesar 23,22 cm, pertambahan diameter sebesar 2,86 mm, dan pertambahan tunas sebanyak 19 tunas.

Abstract

Biodiversity in species, and ecosystems is decreasing at a dangerous rate due to environmental damage. One method to describe a vegetation is vegetation analysis. This study aims to determine plant biodiversity and stand structure profile diagrams to provide an overview of vegetation conditions in the Labuhan DAM area. Determination of the location of the sample using the path method determined on the right and left of the river before and after the dam with a path length of 40 mx 20 m. Based on the analysis, the results found 10 species of understorey, 13 types of trees and the dominant tree canopy stratification, namely trembesi and alaban.Keanekaragaman hayati pada spesies, dan ekosistem semakin menurun pada tingkat yang membahayakan akibat kerusakan lingkungan. Salah satu metode untuk mendeskripsikan suatu vegetasi yaitu analisis vegetasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan dan diagram profil struktur tegakan guna memberikan gambaran kondisi vegetasi di kawasan Bendungan Labuhan. Penentuan lokasi sampel menggunakan metode jalur yang ditentukan pada kanan kiri sungai sebelum dan sesudah bendungan dengan panjang jalur 40 m x 20 m. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh hasil ditemukan 10 jenis tumbuhan bawah 13 jenis pohon dan stratifikasi tajuk pohon yang dominan yaitu trembesi dan alaban.

Abstract

The aims of this study to determine the effect of liquid fertilizer Lobo, Polyfert, Bionature on the growth of Mahogany plants and this research is the benefits to provide the best information of fertilizer that can be used in the maintenance of Mahogany plants. The design used in this study is Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and repetition as much as 40 times, so the number of plants observed as many as 160 plants. The parameters calculated in this study were the increase of plant height of each treatment, the increase of leaf number per treatment and the diameter of the stem per treatment. The results of variance analysis on plant height increase data showed that the fertilizer treatment was not significant, but the highest value was obtained on Polyfert fertilizer and thelowest was on the control treatment. The result of varian analysis to data of plant diameter increase showed that the fertilizer treatment was very significant, but the highest value was obtained on Polyfert fertilizer and the lowest was on Bionature fertilizer. While the result of varian analysis to data of increase of leaf number of plants, showed that the fertilizer treatment was very significant, but the highest value was obtained on Polyfert fertilizer and the lowest was on the control treatment.Keywords: Mahogany; Plants ; Polyfer Fertilizer; Lobo Fertilizer; Bionature Fertilizer.

Abstract

Aloeswood (Aquilaria malaccensis Lamk.) Is a non-timber plant that has high economic value because the resin in the tree can be categorized as a commercial commodity Gaharu cultivation is important to meet the needs of the international market by using onion extract (Allium ceppa L.) because it contains the hormones auxin, gibberellin, vitamin B1 and allicin compounds. The purpose of this study was to analyze the dosage of shallot extract which was able to provide the best effect in increasing the growth of Gaharu (Aquilaria malaccensis L) seeds. The results of this study indicate that the increase in growth is 5.23 cm for high increase with the concentration of shallot extract as much as 200 gr / l of water and an increase in the number of leaves by an average of 10.3 strands with a concentration of shallot extract of 100 gr / l of waterTanaman gaharu atau aloeswood (Aquilaria malaccensis Lamk.) merupakan jenis tanaman bukan kayu yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi karena resin pada pohon dapat dikategorikan sebagai komoditi komersial. Budidaya gaharu penting dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar internasional dengan menggunakan ekstrak bawang merah (Allium ceppa L.) karena terdapat di dalamnya kandungan hormon auksin, giberelin, vitamin B1 dan senyawa allicin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa dosis ekstrak bawang merah yang mampu memberikan pengaruh terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit gaharu (Aquilaria malaccensis L). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meningkatnya pertumbuhan sebesar 5,23 cm untuk pertambahan tinggi dengan konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah sebanyak 200 gr/l air dan pertambahan jumlah daun dengan rata-rata sebanyak 10,3 helai dengan konsentrasi ekstrak bawang merah sebanyak 100 gr/l air.

Abstract

One effort to increase crop productivity is to pay attention to the appropriate spacing. Using different spacing, the light intensity will be different, as a result it will affect plant growth. Based on this background, the author tries to examine the dimensions of the stands and roots of Nyawai at various spacing with the same age and treatment conditions, so that later it can be used as a planting reference for Nyawai with optimal growth.The spacing treatment used in this study was 2x2m, 3x3m and 4x4m, 6 observation plots as replications. Abstract

Aren tree (Arenga Pinnata Merr.) Is one of the palm trees that is almost spread throughout Indonesia and is one type of plant that has a high economic value for it needed a good way of plant propagation to get the quality we need, the propagation of palm trees only can be through the seeds so it takes preliminary treatment techniques. Techniques to accelerate germination aren feels unsatisfactory because the techniques that have been developed are still quite difficult so that the research using simple preliminary treatment and it is the answer of the difficulty of germination seeds aren. The techniques used are also simple as well as thinking, drilling, sanding and soaking the palm seeds. The purpose of this research is to know the power of seed sprouts. This research was conducted in November 2017 until February 2018 at Silvicultural Laboratory II of Faculty of Forestry Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarbaru. This research used sand planting medium and had 3 different preliminary treatment on the seeds of seed (A) = Seed soaked in water with time ± 6 hours and applied to all treatment as originally, treatment (B) = abrasive using sandpaper with size roughness 80 and treatment (C) = Soak in hot water for 10 minutes at 100 ℃. The results showed the highest germination on treatment B with 65% sprout value of 20 seeds that have been tested and the results of observations that have been implemented within 90 days.Keywords: Arenga pinnata; germination; sanding; soak

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Citronella (Cymbopogon citratus DC) kinds of gross plant that have the advantage of being able to grow dry and nutrient poor soil, citronella is also able to recorvery the physical and chemical properties of ex miner and also citronella has economic value. On this research atilization liquit organic fertilization to citronella plants on the pit mine, and knowing the best of growth on the every treatment. Location of the research at PT. Jorong Barutama Greston on Cut Channel UE Central location. This research using RAL 4 treatment with Polyfert, Bionature, LoBo, and Control repeated 50 times, so the number 200 plants with observed parameters of life, sprout growth, and dry biomass. The results ofresearch showing use Polyfert is better can be seen from the highest percentage of life with an average of 86%, the increase of bud buds a 5,20 averaging buds and for the measurement of plant biomass obtained an average of 68,86 gramsKeywords: Serai; liquid fertilizer; post mining land.ABSTRAK. Serai (Cymbopogon citratus DC) adalah tanaman jenis rumput-rumputan yang mempunyai keunggulan mampu tumbuh dilahan yang kering dan miskin unsur hara. Serai juga mampu memperbaiki sifat fisik dan kimia dilahan bekas penambangn dan juga serai mempunyai nilai ekonomis. Pada penelitian ini penggunaan pupuk organik cair pada tanaman serai bertujuan untuk mengamati daya hidup tanaman di lahan pasca tambang dan mengetahui pertumbuhan terbaik pada setiap perlakuan pada tanaman serai. Penelitian telah dilakukan di PT. Jorong Barutama Greston lokasi Cut Channel UE Central. Penelitian ini menggunakan RAL 4 perlakuan dengan pupuk Polyfert, Bionature, LoBo, dan Kontrol dan diulang sebanyak 50 kali, sehingga jumlahnya 200 tanaman dengan parameter yang diamati daya hidup, pertambahan tunas, dan biomassa kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk Polyfert lebih baik penggunaanya dapat dilihat dari presentase hidup terbanyak dengan rata-rata 86%, pertambahan tunas rata-rata 5,20 buah tunas dan untuk pengukuran biomassa tanaman didapatkan rata-rata 68,86 gram.Kata kunci: Serai; pupuk cair; lahan pasca tambang.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest producer of gaharu in the world, until the end of 1990 it was able to produce more than 600 tons per year, since 2000 production continued to decline and with a quota of around 300 tons/year it was only able to meet 10-15%, even since 2004 with a quota of 50 - 150 tons/year, there is no record of exports of gaharu from Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to measure the survival percentage of gaharu seedlings, analyze the growth response of gaharu seedlings to the administration of green tonic leaf fertilizer, and determine the dosage of green tonic leaf fertilizer which can provide the best growth for gaharu seedlings. The results obtained from the study are the percentage of gaharu seedlings in each treatment categorized as successful because it lives 100%. Treatment D, namely the administration of green tonic leaf fertilizer with a dose of 7 ml/l of water member growth was better than the other treatments based on the increase in height, diameter and number of leaves in gaharu seedlings. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness (production, efficiency, satisfaction) of purun plant materials as a substitute for polybags in the nursery. This research was conducted in the nursery of the Faculty of Forestry, In November 2019 - February 2020 with the T test data analysis method and Boxplot comparison. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of inorganic media bags are inorganic based, a mixture of various chemicals, and difficult to decompose. Meanwhile, organic media bags are purun-based and easy to decompose. The time needed to fill the inorganic media bag was 6.95 seconds longer than the organic media bag. The percentage of life for treatment A seedlings 92%, B treatment 92%, treatment C 96%, and treatment D 88%. The growth of Trembesi seeds is not significant. Inorganic media bag damage was only included in the 20% category (very difficult decompose), while the damage to organic media bags was in the category of 100% (easily biodegradable). The decomposition of the media bag in the inorganic media bag is very small or even absent because the number and length of roots that come out is tiny, while the organic media bag can decompose completely because of the number and length of wild rootsTujuan penelitian ini yaitu, menganalisis efektivitas (Produksi. efesiensi, Kepuasan) bahan tumbuhan purun sebagai pengganti polybag di persemaian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di persemaian Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Pada bulan November 2019- Februari 2020 dengan metode analisis data Uji T dan perbandingan Boxplot. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik kantong media anorganik yaitu, berbahan dasar anorganik, campuran berbagai zat kimia, dan sulit terdekomposisi. Sedangkan kantong media organnik berbahan dasar purun dan mudah terdekomposisi Waktu yang diperlukan untuk mengisi kantong media anorganik lebih lama 6.95 detik dibandingkan kantong media organik. Persentase hidup bibit perlakuan A sebesar 92%, perakuan B 92%, perlakuan C 96%, dan perlakuan D 88%. Pertumbuhan bibit trembesi tidak ada yang signifikan. Kerusakan kantong media anorganik hanya masuk dalam kategori 20% atau sangat sulit terurai, sedangkan kerusakan kantong media organik sampai dalam kategori 100% atau sangat mudah terurai. Terurainya kantong media pada kantong media sangat kecil atau bahkan tidak ada karena jumlah dan panjang akar yang keluar sangat sedikit, sedangkan kantong media organik bisa terurai sempurna karena jumlah dan panjang akar yang keliar sangat banyak
