Abstract

Concrete Beams can experience a sudden collapse when overload because of its brittle characteristic. The use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) on concrete beams externally as external confinement is predicted to improve concrete mechanics properties, increase the ductility and capacity of concrete, and the flexural strength of concrete beams. An experimental study on the reinforcement of concrete beams with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) was carried out to estimate the effectiveness of CFRP on concrete structures as a concrete beam flexural reinforcement material. Two types of concrete beams are provided in this study to test the flexural strengthening effect of the externally bound CFRP composite. First type of concrete beam used for testing is a normal concrete beams, whereas the second tested beam, the CFRP was laminated by coating the beams with Fiber. The dimensions of both types are 15cm x15cm with a length of 55cm footing range. Testing result obtained the compressive strength was 23,29 MPa, flexural strength of normal and CRFP concretes were 33,41 Kg/cm2 and 48,07 Kg/cm2 respectively. It was concluded that the use of CRFP at the concrete beam increases flexural strength up to 44% with the ratio of 143 %.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is one form of intracurricular which is the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education with the method of introducing and providing work experience and student learning in community empowerment. At Graha Ciantra Indah, especially on Rt 02 where I live, many people who attend junior high school use cellphones and use internet access, from this there are concerns from parents and the head of RT 02 about the habits of teenagers using cellphones and the internet. Therefore, I need to promote intelligent use of the internet, by presenting healthy internet material which contains about how to use internet access properly, ethical material on social media is related material when internet users interact with good social media, and internet crime material is a material about the types of internet crimes and ways to prevent internet users from committing internet crimes. This activity uses the Community Education method which is an extension activity that aims to increase understanding. With this activity, the results obtained during the activity, participants can understand the material and are able to answer questions from related speakers using the internet intelligently.

Abstract

CAD (Computer Aided Design) is an automation software that uses various design tools with computers to help engineers, architects and other professionals with planning needs. CAD allows a person to prepare drawings quickly and accurately, and makes it easier to visualize his ideas and ideas well. While AutoCAD is one of the most popular CAD software developed by Autodesk for 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional drawing. Many high school students are not familiar with AutoCAD because there are no subjects for this program at school. Therefore, they are new to AutoCAD when they are in college when they take a major related to drawing, planning or designing. This AutoCAD training is very useful in planning or designing something starting from goods or buildings. The stages in this training are the first introduction to AutoCAD software, the second 2-dimensional drawing exercise. After participating in this training, participants are expected to be able to recognize and master the AutoCAD program well. So that it can be applied in design planning if one day there are participants who are interested or involved in a job that requires designing skills.

Abstract

CV. Marga Jaya Properti started its business in marble, natural granite, granite tile, traso, wood interior and developed in the field of construction services such as construction and renovation services for residential houses, hospitals and places of worship. The high business competition makes it difficult for companies to market which results are decreased sales and decreased production. This activity aims to analyze the business in order to overcome these problems by socializing the business model design using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) method. The BMC method is carried out by observation, literature study and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) between the Team and the experts. Companies must increase marketing activities, increase product added value and increase partnerships. Marketing activities should be carried out both online and offline. Online marketing can be added through online buying and selling forums, google ads, tik tok shop, twitter, email or telegram, while offline marketing can be added by participating in property exhibitions, distributing brochures, holding property webinars, and inviting customer to become marketing. The increase in added value can be done by free consultations for construction service, free delivery product for Bekasi area. The increase partnerships is by adding developers such as developers for handling electricity, water and so on in working on large projects, for example the construction of hospitals. The results of this Activity that are felt by owners and employees are their increased knowledge of business models which can increase marketing, increase sales and increase production.
