Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui tes dan non tes. Data non tes terdiri dari wawancara dan dokumentasi yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konfirmasi jawaban siswa pada soal tes yang diberikan. Sumber utama data pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP IT Bina Ilmi Palembang. Sebanyak dua puluh enam siswa dari kelas VIII.B terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VIII.B tidak dapat memenuhi semua indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan baik sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII.B masih rendah.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted based on the problems found from observation on teaching and learning process. This research aimed to investigate how Wordless Picture Book improved students’ writing skill on recount text to the eight grade students of SMPN 1 Sungai Ambawang in academic year 2017/2018. This research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research and the subject was the eighth grade students in class VIII D. In collecting the data, the writer used observation checklist table, field note and writing test. The result showed that students’ problems in writing recount text such as organization of the text, using simple past tense and students’ interest in writing recount text had been solved by using Wordless Picture Book as the teaching medium. The students’ ability to organize the text improved through the chronological pictures, students’ ability in using simple past tense improved through events within pictures and students’ interest in writing recount text improved through cartoon pictures within Wordless Picture Book. It can be concluded that Wordless Picture Book can be used as a medium to improve students’ writing skill on recount text such as organization of the text, using simple past tense sentence and students’ interest in learning writing recount text. Keywords: Wordless Picture Book, Recount Text, Writing Skill.

Abstract

Criminal law is the norms that contain the necessities and prohibitions which the legislators formhave been associated with a sanction in the form of punishment, namely a special suffering. Criminal is asentence imposed on someone who is proven legally and convincingly commits a crime. In evidence ofteninterpreted as an effort to foster his personality in accordance with the values in society and culture. The deathpenalty is considered as a punishment that makes a deterrent effect for a crime. In Human Rights a set of rightsthat are inherent in the nature and existence of human beings as the supreme godhead and are a gift that mustbe respected, at the highest end and protected by the State, law and government, and every person for honorand protection of dignity human. Based on this understanding the writer of this thesis formulates twoformulations of the problem, namely: first, What are the views and perspectives of criminal law and humanrights in Indonesia on the implementation of capitalism perpetrators of terrorism, Second What is the basis forconsidering justifiers of criminal sanctions against terrorism.In the results of the problem research there are two main things that can be concluded. First, thecontradictory view of the application of the death penalty (abolitionist) in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the view thatis pro-retentionist assumes that capital punishment must still be maintained and applied only to extraordinarycrime such as terrorism, to applied by this group considers that the death penalty will provide a deterrenteffect, so that it will prevent the recurrence of similar crimes by other people. See again from the view ofhuman rights. The two basic considerations for justifying the death of law for terrorism are three, in terms ofsociological, ideological, philosophical juridical.Keywords: Crime, Views of Death Penalty, Terrorism, Human Rights

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of problem-based learning model on students mathematics problem solving ability.The research design which was used was post-test only control group design.The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of MTs Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into five classes.The samples of this research were all students of VII.A and VII.B class which was chosen by purposive sampling technique.The data of this research were obtained by mathematics problem solving ability test.Based on the result of data analysis, it concluded that viewed by student's mathematical problem solving ability, problem-based learning model was not effective, but it was more effective than conventional learning model.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam lima kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A dan VII B yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, model problem based learning tidak efektif, namun lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: konvensional, pemecahan masalah matematis, problem based learning

Abstract

Children are the responsibility of parents given by Allah S.W.T, therefore it is fitting for parents to guard and supervise them, especially when parents decide to include their children in a boarding school. On that basis sometimes time and distance are usually the main obstacles for parents in obtaining information, coupled with delays in the Islamic Boarding Schools in providing information to parents of students. By implementing information technology, the pesantren can more easily and quickly provide information to santri parents, and santri parents can also participate in supervising their children in terms of obtaining information relating to santri activities, santri absences and violations committed by Student. The results of this study are the Android-Based Santri Activity Monitoring Application using qualitative research types, while the data collection method uses observation, interviews, and literature studies. The method of development uses the Waterfall method and application testing uses the Balck Box method. The conclusion obtained from this study is the application of Al-Hidayah E-Monitoring makes it easy for parents to obtain information of students during the school so that parents can obtain more detailed data of students
