Abstract

This research aimed to investigate whether there is an effect of the implementation of cooperative learning model of think talk write type on students’ mathematical communication skill. This research population was all students of grade 10th of SMAN 13 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into 7 classes. This research samples were students of X6 and X7 class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. This research design was posttest only. The research data were score of students’ mathematical communication skill. The result of data analysis showed that students’ mathematical communication skill in cooperative learning model of think talk write type was higher than conventional learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of the implementation of cooperative learning model of think talk write type on students’ mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 13 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X6 dan X7, yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian adalah posttest only. Data penelitian adalah skor kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW lebih tinggi daripada model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, konvensional, TTW

Abstract

This was a quasi-experimental research that aimed to know about the influence of cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type towards student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research used a posttest only control design. The population was the eight grade students in second semester of Junior High School state 7 of Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2012/2013 as many as 327 students who distributed into nine classes. Samples were students of VIII H and VIII E class that chosen by purposive sampling technique. The data was value of conceptual understanding of mathematics obtained by test. Based on the results of hypothesis test, conceptual understanding of mathematics of students who teach by the cooperative learning model of NHT type was better than  conventional learning. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model of NHT type influences of conceptual understanding of mathematics of  eight grade student in second semester of Junior High School state 7 of Bandar Lampung academic year of 2012/2013.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.  Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design.  Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 sebanyak 327 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam 9 kelas.  Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII H dan VIII E yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling.  Data penelitian berupa nilai pemahaman konsep matematis yang diperoleh melalui tes. Abstract

The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of MTs Mathlaul Anwar Gisting, even semester in academic year of 2014/2015. The samples of this research were students of VII.D and VII.E which were taken by purposive random sampling. Based on the result of research, it was gotten the conclusion that the students understanding of mathematical concepts in cooperative learning model of TTW type was higher than students understanding of mathematical concepts in the cooperative learning model of NHT type.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write (TTW) dan numbered heads together (NHT) dengan posttest only design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Mathlaul Anwar Gisting semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Abstract

This research aimed to improve students understanding of mathematical concepts at MTs Pelita Gedongtataan on 30 March 2017 until 25 April 2017. This type of research was a classroom action research with the subject of students of class VII MTs Pelita Gedongtataan consisting of 38 students. Data collection techniques used were observation and concepts comprehension tests. Based on the results of research and discssion, it can be conciuded that the learning by applying the model of cooperative learning TPS type in grade VII students MTs Pelita Gedongtataan on the material triangle cannot improve students understanding of mathematical concepts.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS. Penelitian ini di lakukan di MTs Pelita Gedongtataan pada tanggal 30 maret 2017 sampai dengan 25 April 2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII MTs Pelita Gedongtataan yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes pemahaman konsep. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat di simpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada siswa kelas VII MTs Pelita Gedongtataan pada materi segitiga tidak dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Kooperatif, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis siswa, Think Pair Share

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aims to know the influence of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) towards students’ interest and the value of mathematics learning outcomes, a case study in 8th grade students of even semester Junior High School State 3 Bandar Lampung in Academic Years 2012/2013. A population of this research is all 8th grade students of Junior High School State 3 Bandar Lampung in Academic Years 2012/2013 that is distributed into seven classes. The samples are two classes that are obtained by using purposive sampling technique. Based on hypothesis testing results, it is concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type NHT has influence towards students’ interest and the value of mathematics learning outcomes . It is showed that students’ interest and the value of mathematics learning outcomes in cooperative learning model type NHT is higher than students’ interest and the value of mathematics learning outcomes in conventional learning.Keywords: NHT, interest, learning outcomes

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of STAD type viewed by students mathematical conceptual understanding. This research used post-test only control group design. The population of this research was all grade 8th students of SMP Ar-Raihan Bandarlampung in the academic year of 2013/2014. By cluster random sampling technique, it was chosen Hanafi and Maliki class as samples. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this research was the cooperative learning model of STAD type was effective viewed by students mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan post-test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Ar-Raihan Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Melalui teknik cluster random sampling terpilihlah kelas Hanafi dan Maliki sebagai sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract

This research was quasi experiment that aims to find influence of the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning towards students’s understanding of mathematical concept in 8th grade students SMPN 1 Sekincau academic years 2012/2013.  The design of this research was posstest only control design.  The po-pulation in this research was all of the students in 8th grade of SMPN 1 Sekincau academic years 2012/2013 there are not involved as prior class.  The research sample consist of two class that taken by used purposive random sampling’s technics.  The research data was the data of students’s understanding of mathematical concept that taken by test.  Based on hypothesis analysis can be coclude that Contextual Teaching and Learning has an influence for students’s understanding of mathematical concept in 8th grade students SMPN 1 Sekincau academic years 2012/2013.Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning, Understanding of mathematical concept.

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning of jigsaw type considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The research used pre-test post-test control design. The population was all students of grade 7th SMPN 1 Pekalongan, Lampung Timur in academic year 2012/2013 and the samples of research were students of VII.2 and VII.3 class that chosen from six classes by purposive sampling technique. Based on the result of data analysis, it was gotten the average of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was higher then conventional learning. The conclusion of this research was the cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was effective considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembel­ajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.  Desain penelitian adalah pre-test post-test control design, dengan popu­lasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Pekalongan Kabupaten Lampung Timur tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII.2 dan VII.3 yang dipilih dari enam kelas dengan cara purposive sampling.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata pe­maham­an konsep matematis siswa pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajar­an konvensional. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw efektif diterapkan terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Kata kunci:  efektivitas, jigsaw, pemahaman konsep matematis

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in terms of students mathematical problem solving skill. The population of this research was students of 8th grade in SMPN 21 Bandarlampung that were distributed into 11 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-H and VIII-I class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The data were obtained through mathematical problem solving skill test. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test and Binomial Sign Test. This research concluded that guided inquiry learning model was not effective in terms of students mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran guided inquiry ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 21 Bandarlampung yang terdistribusi dalam 11 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-H dan VIII-I yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Data diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U dan uji tanda binomial. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effect of Think Pair Share cooperative learning model towards students conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research used posttest only control group design. The population of this research wasall students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratuin academic year of 2017/2018. Through purposive sampling technique, two classes were taken as the samples.The technique that used in this research was test. The analysis data of this research used t-test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that Think Pair Share cooperative learning model affect students conceptual understanding of mathematics.Penelitian eksperimental semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratu tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Melalui teknik purposive sampling dua dari enam kelas diambil sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes.
