Abstract

Inflation control in Indonesia is conducted through the monetary sector by the Bank of Indonesia as monetary authority through coordination with several ministries and regional leaders by means of TPID (Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah – Team to Control Regional Inflation). However, inflation remains high on average. Such situation is unwelcome for the economy, one major reason being the general reduction of societal purchasing power. This article asserts that political economic method of controlling inflation through the monetary sector which is still based on bank interest is contradictive due to its very nature of increasing inflation. This method should be slowly changed to one that is based on profit-and-loss sharing. The role played by TPID in inflation control is an ideal concept to control inflation through the creation of a perfect market, as such TPID’s seriousness is needed to execute programs which can contribute to inflation control. Society has an important role in inflation control through self-restraint based on transaction ethics. Transaction ethics is self-restrain to not increase price arbitrarily which could burden society itself. The amount of profit is indeed not limited, but it will be more socially beneficial (maslahat) when all society’s members exercise self-restraint and do not raise price of one good arbitrarily, which can lead to the increase of price of other goods and prolonged inflation.

Abstract

This research is aims to find out how much the influence of Zakah on Civil Servant Profession and Development conducted by Baitul Mal on Economic Empowerment Society in East Aceh. The research sample is taken from 3 (three) sub-districts, namely Simpang Jernih, Peureulak Barat and Peudawa Sub-districts for 3 (three) months from 7 May to 7 July 2016. The research design used is quantitative research design using linear regression analysis multiple and supported by model test and statistical test using the help of program Eviews 8 and SPSS 16.0. The results showed that the zakah received and variable construction can explain mustahik income of about 33.38%, while 66.62% is explained by other factors. Simultaneously variables that receive alms from the treasury construction affects income mustahik using alpha 5%. Zakah received a positive and significant impact on revenue mustahik. Zakah profession salary civil servants in baitul mal East Aceh in accordance with the purpose and objectives of Islamic economics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perilaku nasabah berdasarkan kinerja Customer Relationship Management. Permasalahan penelitian merujuk pada fenomena bisnis PT. Pegadaian Syariah  (Persero) Tbk. Di Provinsi Jambi. permasalahan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membangun kepuasan nasabah, sehingga loyalitas nasabah dapat tercapai sesuai harapan. Tujuan penelitian dirumuskan untuk mencari jawaban atas alur kinerja Customer Relationship Management. Permodelan yang dirumuskan pada penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman yang kritis dalam konsep dan pengukuran manajemen hubungan pelanggan. Peneliti memasukan unsur kompetensi sumber daya manusia, mutu pelayanan, teknologi, dan kepuasan nasabah sebagai anteseden dan memiliki konsekuensi yang signifikan terhadap loyalitas nasabah. Penelitian ini mempergunakan 110 responden dan keseluruhan responden adalah nasabah PT. Pegadaian Syariah  (Persero) Tbk. Di Provinsi Jambi. Analisis data mempergunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan program komputer Amos 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia tidak berdampak positip dan signifikan  terhadap kepuasan nasabah. Sementara itu Mutu pelayanan dan Teknologi berdampak positip dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan nasabah. Pengaruh kepuasan nasabah terhadap loyalitas juga berakibat positip. Masukan bagi manajemen yang bisa diambil dari penelitian customer relationship management ini adalah pendekatan yang berkaitan dengan dimensi mutu pelayanan dapat membantu manajer meningkatkan kepuasan nasabah dan loyalitas nasabah berbasis kinerja Customer Relationship Management. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia, Mutu Pelayanan, Teknologi, Kepuasan Nasabah, dan Loyalitas Nasabah Berdasarkan Kinerja Customer Relationship Management.

Abstract

Zakat sebagai suatu kewajiban yang mendasar, memiliki penggunaan tertentu menurut ukuran yang telah diatur oleh syariat. Selain memiliki tujuan ibadah, zakat juga bertujuan untuk merealisasikan fungsi-fungsi sosial dan ekonomi dalam masyarakat Islam. Revitalisasi manajerial lembaga zakat ke arah yang lebih baik dan memenuhi standar manajemen mutu menjadi sangat penting, agar mendapat kepercayaan dari publik dan tercapainya tujuan pensyariatan zakat, dan juga harus berdasarkan pada nilai-nilai dan bingkai syariah (comply to syariah principles). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonstruksi model manajemen mutu bagi BAZNAS Provinsi Jambi berdasarkan pada nilai-nilai syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan kepustakaan. Data yang digunakan dalam kajian ini merupakan data sekunder dalam bentuk literatur dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisa melalui metode deskriptif. Konstruksi model ini diperlukan dalam rangka membangun, mengembangkan dan memantapkan keberadaan ilmu ekonomi Islam, terutama dalam bidang manajemen melalui penelitian yang terus menerus.

Abstract

The objective of this research is; firstly to analyze the impact of the perceptions, that the perception of service, promotions and location of the Muzaki?s preferences, then to analyze the impact of the preferences towards Muzaki?s decision, and finally to analyze the impact of the perceptions of service, promotions, location and preferences of Muzaki?s decision in choosing LAZ. This research is a quantitative research using path analysis method through LISREL 8.80 assisted by MSI (Method of Succesive Interval) and SPSS 16.0 application tool to test the feasibility of the data. The results showed that perception of service very influential to preference compared with promotion and location. And Preference has a significant influence on decisions rather than perceptions of service, promotion and location. This study recommends Amil Zakat Institute to be able to improve the service because it is a matter of great concern and felt directly by muzaki and become preference for muzaki in determining its decision in choosing Amil Zakat Institution.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of personal characteristics, motivation and compensation variables on performance with loyalty as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative study with a causality research design. The sampling technique in this study was saturated sampling, which is a sampling technique using the entire population, they are lecturers and employees of Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al Jarrah Medan, amounting to 43 people. The analytical method used is path analysis. The data processing process uses SPSS 22. The results show that partially, the three variables used in the study: personal characteristics, motivation and compensation have no effect on employee performance. When interpreted through loyalty variables, the two variables personal characteristics and compensation do not affect performance, but motivation variables affect performance. While loyalty has a significant effect on performance. This shows that the lecturers and employees of Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al Jarrah have good loyalty and performance even though with a limited amount of Human Resources, lack of motivation and inadequate compensation. Because not only the material goals to be achieved, but the call to serve is the reason for their existence in Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al Jarrah Medan.

Abstract

This research was conducted on Islamic banking listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013-2019 using secondary data. A saturated data analysis is used in this research. The sample is all Sharia banking companies as many as 12 companies. The results show that Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership, Individual Ownership, Foreign Ownership, and the Board of Commissioners have an effect on Earnings Management. Meanwhile, State Ownership, Family Ownership, Public Ownership, Public Accountants, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors have no effect on Earnings Management. Simultaneously all independent variables have an effect on Earnings Management. Given their findings, the authors propose that the practical implication of this research is that earnings management does not occur much in Islamic banks listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange Earnings Management in the study of Islamic Business Ethics is in the form of deliberate fraud or fraud to achieve certain interests and its nature is not for the benefit of the people or society so it is not allowed because it will have an impact on the survival of the company. But interests that are in a precarious condition that endanger the interests of the public or the state, such as a pandemic outbreak, are allowed because the country is experiencing an economic downturn.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze poverty alleviation and financial inclusion in the mustahik em­powerment program in Pekanbaru. The samples involved in this study were 105 people drawn from four organizations of zakat in Pekanbaru. The analytical technique conducted using qualitative de­scriptive analysis. The results of this study show that the economic empowerment program conducted by zakat institutions in Pekanbaru has succeeded in alleviating the mustahik of the poverty line. Based on the World Bank's poverty line, there are 34.07% of successful out of poverty line. Meanwhile, if using the Government poverty line then there are 60.29% mustahik who managed to get out of the poverty line. However, this empowerment program has not been integrated with the sharia micro­finance institutions. Therefore, the empowerment program for mustahik should be integrated with Islamic microfinance to pursue successful financial inclusion for mustahik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out about the role of the Bank Indonesia North Sumatra Province representative office in improving the Islamic financial market. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques and tools used are interviews and observation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive data analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, the authors draw the conclusion that the development of Islamic financial markets has increased from 2017. Bank Indonesia has a prudential macro policy, namely the policy on Financial System Stability. Where, the policy is able to control the risks that exist in the development of Islamic financial markets.            Keywords: Financial System Stability and Islamic Financial Market
