Objectives: (1)find out description of the career decision-making students of class XI IPA before and after given knowledge of career decision making through symbolic modeling techniques using biographies, (2)knowing influence of symbolic modeling techniques using biographies against career decision-making of IX IPA students. This is quantitative experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collected using instrument of observation and question form. Data analyzed by descriptive and t-Test. Results: (1)description of the influence of symbolic modeling techniques using biographies career that used in student's career decision making through 4 step, namely: giving information about career decision making, giving information about symbolic modeling and biographies, granting preferential treatment in biographies about career, and follows activities of the group inverse. Before being given symbolic modeling techniques both of experimental group or control group generally are at low category. After being given treatment shows the changes of the level of decision making career choices from low to high, while the categories for students who were not given the treatment showed no change or remain in the middle category. (2) there is significant issue about symbolic modeling techniques using biographies, in case to increased career decision-making student at SMA Negeri 9 Makassar.

Each year students will look for a suitable school for students. Problems arise when there are a lot of options that provide diverse schools offer to prospective students. Contributions of students self concept and parents involvement supposed to influence in the selection of secondary schools. This study aimed to describe: 1) self-concept of students of SMPN 25 Padang, 2) parents involvement of SMPN 25 Padang, 3) students secondary school selection, 4) the contribution of students self-concept against secondary school selection, 5) contribution parental involvement against secondary school selection, 6) the contribution of students self-concept and parental involvement against secondary school selection. This corelational descriptive research applied quantitative method. The population of the research were students in grade IX of SMPN 25 Padang also using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument of this research was the Likert scale model. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistic, simple regression and multiple regression. The research findings were: 1) students self concept in average were in high category, 2) parental involvement in average were in high category, 3) students selection of secondary school were in high category, 4) there are significance different between students self concept against students selection of secondary school amount 44.3% (R = 0.666), 5) there are significance different between parental involvement toward students selection of secondary school amount 51.1% (R = 0.715), and 6) there are significance different between students self concept and parental involvement toward students selection of secondary school amount 54.2% (R = 0.736). The implication of this research may useful to design a guidance and counseling program, especially career guidance.

Walenrang Utara adalah salah satu Kecamatan yang terletak di Kabupaten Luwu, Propinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Selain potensi pertanian masyarakat Walenrang Utara memiliki lahan tanah perkebunan yang sangat subur yang mampu menghasilkan uwi kualitas super.Kecamatan Walenrang Utara menghasilkan Uwi yang merupakan hasil alam yang sangat luar biasa potensinya untuk peningkatan ekonomi apabila diolah menjadi panganan maupun cemilan yang sehat. Uwi tumbuh subur secara sporadis di pekarangan warga dan tidak memerlukan perawatan. KriBoU merupakan inovasi cemilan sehat berbahan dasar dari Uwi menjadi keripik dan bolu. Dengan bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan olahan berbahan dasar Uwi dijadikan oleh-oleh khas dari Luwu dengan harapan bisa disukai oleh semua kalangan. Metode pemasaran yang akan dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan media sosial yaitu Facebook dan WhatsApp yang mana media sosial tersebut memberikan informasi mengenai produk-produk KriBoU dan di media sosial tersebut para pelanggaran bisa memesan barang.Metode pelaksanaan ide terbagi atas 3 waktu yaitu pra-fabrikasi keripik dan bolu, fabrikasi keripik dan bolu, mulai membuka dan memproduksi keripik dan bolu serta memasarkan keripik dan bolu. Luaran yang diharapkan adalah; jurnal ilmiah dan publikasi pada media cetak, keripik uwi aneka rasa, kue bolu aneka rasa, dan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam menggerakkan kewirausahaan

As a proactive response to the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2017 regarding the Healthy Living Community Movement, this community service is being performed. People in Peta Village are active smokers (90%) and have little knowledge of stunting, the risks of smoking, or how to provide healthy and nutritious food to prevent stunting. The method of program implementation with health education, health protection, and prevention. The formation of a Health Awareness Task Force, the implementation of a program to prevent stunting in children under five, a 25 percent increase in KEK, a 5 percent decrease in the number of active smokers, and a 30 percent decrease in community cigarette consumption are all indicators that this activity was successful.
