Abstract

Abstract PT. Sultra Inti Roda Perkasa company engaged in the restaurant where the recruitment process still involves subjective consideration that lead to decisions that are not appropriate. Based on these problems we need a system to support the implementation of the decision-making process more objective and provide appropriate recommendations. Realizing this decision support system, using the method of Weighted Product (WP) and Simple Additive Weighting  (SAW)  as comparison method. WP is a method of decision-making by way of multiplication to connect  rating  attributes, where each attribute  rating  should be raised to a first weight attribute is concerned whereas, SAW is a method that is also known as the weighted summation method. The basic concept SAW method is to find the sum of the weighted performance rating for each alternative on all attributes.The results of this analysis, a decision support applications recruitment, where the implementation of this application shows that WP and SAW    in the process appraisal at reception prospective employee has a value the same result, if both methods have a weight value the same one. Abstract

As a result of the increase in the price of fuel (fuel oil), the government held a relief for the people of Indonesia, namely direct cash assistance  (BLT).  Indonesian government believes these measures are important for the country's fiscal rescue. At this difficult time, direct cash assistance program be good news for the poor throughout the country. In this study, the criteria used by 5 criteria using AHP method to enter data in the form of the head of the family that was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency kendari city. This decision support system is implemented using the Java programming language integrated with MySQL database. Results of this study states AHP method can be implemented into a decision support system to determine the recipients of direct cash assistance. Abstract

Sistem biometrika merupakan teknologi pengenalan diri dengan menggunakan bagian tubuh atau perilaku manusia. Salah satu cara paling aman mengenali seseorang adalah melalui teknologi biometrika menggunakan sidik jari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat suatu aplikasi identifikasi sidik jari mengunakan Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) dan Canberra Distance. Proses identifikasi sidik jari terdiri dari 3 tahapan utama yaitu preprocessing, ekstraksi fitur dan pencocokan. DWT berfungsi untuk mengekstrak citra sidik jari menjadi ciri-ciri citra. Metode ini mendekomposisi citra masukan sebanyak  level dengan menggunakan mother wavelet Daubechies 4 (Db4). Energi yang dihasilkan oleh DWT akan digunakan untuk mengukur kemiripan citra menggunakan Canberra Distance. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keakuratan aplikasi identifikasi sidik jari  menggunakan 30 citra training dan 10 citra testing pada 10 individu sebesar 90%. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan nilai ambang sebesar 0,65 sebagai filter untuk mengenali citra sidik jari.

Abstract

Metode alternatif dari metode pengukuran kecepatan kendaraan menggunakan alat berbasis laser atau radar dengan menggunakan citra. Sebuah citra memiliki blur pada objek yang bergerak (motion blur) dikarenakan efek yang disebabkan oleh gerakan relatif antara kamera dan objek yang bergerak. Hasil identifikasi ukuran  blur dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu parameter untuk estimasi kecepatan kendaraan. Proses identifikasi blur menggunakan 5 tahap yaitu melakukan Fourier transform terhadap citra yang telah melalui preprocessing, menghitung log spectrum, melakukan inverse Fourier transform, mengubah matriks 2 dimensi menjadi 1 dimensi dan menemukan nilai puncak negatif pertama sebagai koresponden panjang blur. Setelah ukuran blur teridentifikasi, selanjutnya dilakukan proses estimasi kecepatan kendaraan dengan menyertakan parameter lain yaitu shutter speed, focal length, CCD size dan jarak objek. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, tingkat akurasi aplikasi estimasi kecepatan kendaraan menggunakan citra motion blur ini adalah sebesar 77.15%. Keakuratan aplikasi dapat dipengaruhi beberapa faktor yaitu posisi kendaraan pada citra, resolusi, shutter speed, jarak objek dengan kamera dan intensitas cahaya.

Abstract

Faculty of engineering (FT) is one of  faculty which overshade as a part of  Halu Oleo University and become one of the faculty who award a bachelor degree. Faculty of engineering face the defiance in base academic data processing (utility) and the making of Evaluasi Program Studi Berbasiskan Evaluasi Diri (EPSBED) report. Academic information system (Siakad) is one of the solution who can assist the base academic data processing  and the making of EPSBED report so the multiple times data processing not in the process of. The result of designing and building the Siakad for FT that system is amendable with following Rational Unified Process (RUP) plot and relational database concept is applicable as a concept to design the system’s database.   Keywords— Siakad, utility, EPSBED.

Abstract

The development of HCI (Human Computer Interface) has grown more user-friendly. The traditional way of inputting data using keyboard has been replaced gradually since a lot of new method developed. Touch panel developed  from single-touch to multi-touch. Body sense technology even removes obstacles in input device so HCI becomes closer to human nature movement. The most important thing from HCI is manipulating by using hand. The object of this research is to build an application which gives user ability to control pointer by using hand gesture. Method which is used in the application to recognize hand gesture is Convex Hull Algorithm. Convex Hull Algorithm is a method which is used to detect contour or object in image by using points which are connected by lines that cover the contour. The result of this research shows that the application could give the user ability to control the pointer by using hand gesture. Nevertheless, the overall object detections are still needs to  be improved because they are easily distracted by background or object having the same colors as the user’s hand. Abstract

Currently the employee and financial data management in the Faculty of Engineering, Halu Oleo University, Southeast Sulawesi already using computer technology, but overall employee data is entered manually. In addition, data that has been entered in the officialdom service and finance can not be viewed in real-time by an employee of the Faculty of Engineering who are not in the field. Based on these problems, the authors feel need to be made an Human Resource Development Faculty of Engineering, Halu Oleo University. The importance of this system to the processing of employee data can be focused and efficient. In addition, enables the user to enter personal data anytime and anywhere. The test results, the system displays the calculation table details the net salary of employees who relied on periodic salary increases, allowances, and discounts, according to the rule system that applies to the finance department. In this system, salaries are processed only the salaries of employees with employment status of civil servants. In addition, all operations in the system has been running well. Abstract

Kompresi data adalah proses mengubah suatu input data menjadi data dengan ukuran yang lebih kecil, atau proses  pengkodean dari suatu data  untuk mengurangi kebutuhan akan media penyimpanan. Kompresi data bertujuan untuk mengurangi ukuran data tanpa merusak tujuan dari data tersebut.Kompresi data menggunakan sedikit disk space. Kompresi data mempercepat akses, kompresi data dapat membuat lebih efisien. Algoritma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Arithmetic Coding. Algoritma Arithmetic Coding adalah suatu bagian dari entropy encoding yang  mengkonversi suatu  data  ke dalam bentuk data yang lain dengan lebih sering menggunakan sedikit bit dan jarang menggunakan lebih banyak bit karakter. Teknik pengkodean ini memisahkan pesan masukan ke dalam simbol dan menukar masing–masing simbol dengan suatu floating-point. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kompresi menggunakan algoritma Arithmetic Coding dapat menghasilkan citra dengan ukuran file yang lebih kecil, namun apabila citra uji yang digunakan mempunyai ukuran file yang besar, waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan proses kompresi maupun dekompresi membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Dari hasil pengamatan, tingkat rasio kompresi tidak dipengaruhi oleh besarnya ukuran dimensi citra, tetapi tergantung komposisi warna citra yang bersangkutan. File citra hasil kompresi tidak dapat dibuka sebelum melewati proses dekompresi hal tersebut disebabkan terjadi perubahan struktur pada file citra saat proses dekompresi. Abstract

One way to cope with  the traffic density is leveraging technology Intelligent Transport System (ITS). ITS is a system implemented to control and manage the traffic of vehicles, vehicle distribution and transport system infrastructure to achieve a more secure and organized. Revolving a traffic light in the ITS is flexible because it depends on the number of vehicles in traffic. To obtain the revolving time efficient traffic light depends on the accuracy of the calculation of the number of vehicles. In this study, the method used is the method of viola-Jones. The number of car detection system is implemented using the Java programming language-based desktop. Results obtained from these systems demonstrate the highest degree of accuracy viola-Jones method in detecting the number of  cars on the condition of the samples contained 1 cars which amounted to 92,86%. While the highest error jones viola method in determining the number of cars found on a random sample conditions which amounted to 47,22%.Keywords— ITS, Car Detection, Viola-Jones

Abstract

Signatures are currently used by the majority of the public to authorize a document or as proof of transaction. The signature is a unique writing style of someone's name or as an identification sign of that person. This application uses the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) method as its feature extraction and Manhattan Distance as recognition. The LBP operator is a texture descriptor that uses a comparison of gray values of neighboring pixels. For training, data retrieval is done by collecting data 10 times from 50 participants with the amount of training data of 500 samples.
