Abstract

The process of data compression based on the fact that in almost all types of data are always there repetition in the data component has, for example, in a text sentence there will be redundancies letter alphabet of letters ܽ  through  ݖ. Compression of data through the encoding process seeks to eliminate the element of repetition  by  changing  it such that the data size becomes smaller. In this study, an audio  file  compression applications  is  making  by  using  Arithmetic Coding  algorithm. Unified Modelling Language (UML)  is used as system development tools. In making this application is emphasized to compress the audio file extension * .wav.  Compression application testing is done by examining the  files that have different sizes with a sample  rate and bitrate values are the same. It was concluded that the audio  file with a large size takes longer to perform the compression process. The compressed audio  files can not be executed before passing the decompression process that caused a change in the structure of the current audio file decompression process. Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan merupakan bagian kunci dari eksekutif, manajer, karyawan, dan setiap manusia dalam kehidupan tak terkecuali dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk memilih calon penerima bantuan pada suatu instansi. Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan kota Kendari merupakan sebuah instansi pemerintah yang memberikan bantuan bibit ikan kepada nelayan. Proses pemberian bantuan yang belum terkomputerisasi dan belum adanya standar perhitungan yang sesuai mengakibatkan perolehan hasil pemberian bantuan bibit yang cukup lama.Penelitian yang dilakukan dimaksudkan bagaimana untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dengan metode profile matching untuk membantu penyeleksian terhadap nelayan calon penerima bantuan bibit ikan dari dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan kota Kendari yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang diharapkan dapat membantu pihak instansi dalam mengambil keputusan penentuan penerima bantuan bibit ikan yang tepat dan cepat.Hasil dari sistem ini menunjukan 27.76%. kesalahan relatif yang diperoleh dari selisih perbandingan perhitungan yang dilakukan secara manual dan setelah penerapan metode profile matching. Sehingga sistem yang telah dibuat dapat dikatakan layak digunakan sebab kesalahan relatifnya kurang dari 50%. Hal ini disebabkan Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan kota Kendari belum menerapkan metode profile matching dalam seleksi penerima bantuan bibit ikan sehingga nilai yang diperoleh mempunyai selisih dengan penilaian sistem yang telah dibuat.Kata Kunci : Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Profile Matching, Bantuan Bibit Ikan dan Perikanan, Kelautan.

Abstract

Subdistrict of Abeli has significant potential to resources that are owned and encourage the local community in an effort develop the potential optimally. The increase in the industrial sector can help people around the employment opportunities and improving the economy of the District Abeli. The method can be used in one solution giving industrial aid to micro business, SMARTER technique is a method based on the theory that each alternative consists of a number of criteria that have values and each of the criteria has a quality that illustrates how important compared with other criteria. This method in accordance with the criteria used in the provision of micro industries. The decision making process in determining the acceptance of aid to micro industries can be performed quickly and accurately in accordance with the criteria used so as to minimize time and costs in the selection process. Presentation error relative to the calculation results that have built this system of 0% means that the system that has been created can be said to be feasible to use because the relative error of less than 50%. Abstract

Kompresi data adalah proses mengubah suatu input data menjadi data dengan ukuran yang lebih kecil, atau proses  pengkodean dari suatu data  untuk mengurangi kebutuhan akan media penyimpanan. Kompresi data bertujuan untuk mengurangi ukuran data tanpa merusak tujuan dari data tersebut.Kompresi data menggunakan sedikit disk space. Kompresi data mempercepat akses, kompresi data dapat membuat lebih efisien. Algoritma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Arithmetic Coding. Algoritma Arithmetic Coding adalah suatu bagian dari entropy encoding yang  mengkonversi suatu  data  ke dalam bentuk data yang lain dengan lebih sering menggunakan sedikit bit dan jarang menggunakan lebih banyak bit karakter. Teknik pengkodean ini memisahkan pesan masukan ke dalam simbol dan menukar masing–masing simbol dengan suatu floating-point. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu kompresi menggunakan algoritma Arithmetic Coding dapat menghasilkan citra dengan ukuran file yang lebih kecil, namun apabila citra uji yang digunakan mempunyai ukuran file yang besar, waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan proses kompresi maupun dekompresi membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Dari hasil pengamatan, tingkat rasio kompresi tidak dipengaruhi oleh besarnya ukuran dimensi citra, tetapi tergantung komposisi warna citra yang bersangkutan. File citra hasil kompresi tidak dapat dibuka sebelum melewati proses dekompresi hal tersebut disebabkan terjadi perubahan struktur pada file citra saat proses dekompresi. Abstract

Database security is a very important aspect in an information system. A specific information is generally addressed to specific group. Therefore it is an important matter for a company to prevent information leak from a database so that the information contained in it does not fall to unauthorized party. Cryptography is an alternate solution that can be used to secure a database. One method that can be used to secure a database is by using encryption. The method used to secure a database is the RC4 Stream Cipher encryption because the method has advantages in processing speed and high security level. By using  Stream Cipher  encryption method to secure a  database, the information contained in it can only be accessed by authorized party. RC4 (Rivest code) Stream Cipher method is one of symmetric key algorithm in form of Stream Cipher that process unit or data input, message, or information. Research results show that a data in a  database  table can be encypted. The encryption and decryption process are faster and have high security level. Abstract

 Information can be something very precious and needs to be kept confidential. One of the solutions in securing information is to cryptography and steganography. Steganography is the art and science which studies data hiding on a medium such that its presence is not detected by the other party is not entitled to that information, whereas cryptography is a technique to encode (encryption) a secret data into encrypted data is incomprehensible.Steganography method Least Significant Bit (LSB) or low bit coding is a simple method of hiding data in the process, namely by replacing bit less important / least significant bit of each sampling point MP3 filewith a series of binary bits of hidden data. Mathematically LSB perform the conversion value of the lowest bit MP3 samples with values message bits to be inserted.Cryptography algorithm Data Encryption Standard (DES) was adopted by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) a US Federal information processing standards. Abstract

Salah satu fitur handphone yang paling sering digunakan saat ini adalah Short Message Service (SMS). SMS merupakan layanan yang disediakan oleh  handphone untuk mengirim ataupun menerima pesan singkat. Selain itu, fitur Global Positionig System (GPS) saat ini juga sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat dimana dapat membantu dalam pelacakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu dalam mengontrol kegiatan atau pun aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh kerabat ataupun orang lain, serta mengamankan data SMS dan lokasi GPS kerabat yang akan dipantau untuk menghindari ancaman pengaksesan dari pihak – pihak yang tidak berwenang. Metode yang digunakan untuk penyadapan SMS dan GPS yaitu dengan menggunakan perantara web service, sedangkan metode yang digunakan untuk mengamankan data SMS dan GPS  adalah metode Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Metode AES merupakan metode kriptografi kunci simetri yaitu kunci untuk enkripsi sama dengan kunci untuk dekripsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SMS dan lokasi GPS dapat terkirim ke web server dengan adanya fungsi web service yang akan mentransfer data SMS yang ada pada handphone dan menangkap lokasi GPS pihak tersadap. Untuk penelitian enkripsi AES menunjukkan bahwa pesan yang sama dengan kunci yang berbeda dapat menghasilkan chipertext yang berbeda.   Kata Kunci : Penyadapan, SMS, GPS, Android, Web Service, Algoritma AES, enkripsi, dekripsi

Abstract

Lack of knowledge and information of laptop specifications make common people who want to buy a laptop feel confused to decide which laptop that suits their needs. One way to help prospective buyers in order to select a laptop that suits their needs is to build a system with a web-based decision support system Weigthted Product is a method that uses multiplication to connect the attribute value, where the value should be raised to advance with the corresponding attribute weights. Weighted Product (WP) is part of the concept of Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) where normalization is necessary in the calculation. This system requires the input of weighting value based on the needs of prospective buyers in the form of price, RAM capacity, type of processor, hard drive capacity, and Video Grapphics Array (VGA). The result of this research is to give suggestions on laptops based on the specifications described by the perspective buyer with 100% accurate calculations, either manually or within the decision-support system. Abstract

The rapidly evolving information technology brings positive and negative impacts to the lives One of the negative impacts is plagiarism. Plagiarism is the act of plagiarizing the work of others and recognize as his own handiwork. Therefore, detection of plagiarism needs to be done to reduce plagiarism against other people's work. This thesis aims to detect text document similarity algorithm using Levenshtein Distance so that it can be used to help determine plagiarism. Type of document to be tested is .docx and .pdf .txt. Stages in the system is preprocessing that consist of Case Folding, tokenizing, Filtering, Stemming, Sorting. After the preprocessing the next step is to do the calculation using the method Levenshtein Distance and penggukuran value of similarity thus getting a percentage value of the similarity between the two documents. In testing using real data ie data documents berplagiat with Levenshtein Distance algorithm produces a high similarity value is above 77% to 100% for the document that a high level of similarity. As for the document with a low degree of similarity or not berplagiat then generate similarity values ​​below 40%.   Keywords— Document, Levenshtein Distance, Preprocessing, Similarity, Plagiarism

Abstract

The e-mail is one of the facilities provided by the android based mobile phone so that increasingly changing the way people communicate. First long distance communication is still using the conventional manner, that is by sending each other letters, but now remote communication can be done easily and quickly. But with so many new technologies are evolving, there are many who disseminated information is both public and private, or secret, so that information security is not guaranteed. E-mail security applications needed to secure the information by applying the science of cryptography algorithm AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). AES algorithm is a cryptographic algorithm that is sufficiently robust security and easy to solve and apply. In this application is implemented using the Java programming language, android studio. The test files used in the e-mail application is txt, docx, pdf and ppt. The results of this study states algorithm AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) can be implemented into the process of encryption and decryption at the application of e-mail security.
