Abstract

A horizontal axis wind turbine design research has been carried out using an inverter. This study aims to generate the output power generated by the generator through an inverter. So that the use of an inverter can turn on the 10 watt lamp. From the research results obtained turbine rotation varied between 1357 rpm to 2415 rpm producing a generator voltage of 3.05 volts to 4.61 volts and generator currents 32mA up to 49 mA. The inverter produces a voltage of 16.57 volts up to 20.46 volts and an inverter current of 0.60 amperes up to 0.48 amperes. The greater the rotation of the wind turbine turbine, the greater the generator voltage generated and so is the voltage of the inverter. While the current will increase as the turbine rotation increases and the inverse of the inverter current will decrease as the turbine rotation increases.

Abstract

In this study, the effect of pump voltage on engine performance and fuel consumption on the Honda Scoopy motorbike was investigated. The voltage value is between 5 volts and 7 volts for the fuel pump pump pressure. Based on the results of the influence of variations in the voltage electrical fuel pump on engine performance on Honda Scoopy motorcycles by looking for some data, namely; Voltage supplied to the fuel pump, engine RPM, and fuel consumption. From some of the data above, results with the following values are obtained; The voltage values used are 5.80 V, 6.54 V, 7.34 V, 6.68 V, and 7.10 V. The RPM values obtained are 1200, 2607, 3289, 2802 and 3210. The pressure values at the fuel pump obtained are 20 Psi, 21.5 Psi, 27.5 Psi, 22.5 Psi and 25 Psi with an average fuel consumption value of 12 ml/minute for all variables. The results of the study show that the pressure on the fuel is affected by the voltage which affects the engine rpm. Furthermore, the voltage does not affect the value of fuel consumption on the machine.

Abstract

East Kalimantan Province is very vulnerable to climate change, so it needs policies and strategies in managing climate change impacts through adaptation and mitigation actions. So it is necessary to stipulate local regulations on climate change adaptation and mitigation. Management of climate change in East Kalimantan is one of the local government's efforts in providing guarantees to the community to get a quality living environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding to residents regarding East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning climate change adaptation and mitigation. The method of implementing this community service activity is in the form of counseling and discussion of East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning climate change adaptation and mitigation. Based on the results of community service activities related to the extension of East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 regarding climate change adaptation and mitigation, it was concluded that many people still do not know about the regional regulation. Efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change are not only the responsibility of the Government, but also the responsibility of the DPR. The DPR's climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts can be carried out through the implementation of its three functions, namely the budget function, the supervisory function, and the legislative function. Every stakeholder, including the community, must mitigate and adapt to climate change, because adaptation and mitigation is the key to addressing climate change, which is the key to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing carbon stocks to reduce the impact of climate change. The active role of the regional government in formulating policies related to climate change is a must, the policy is expected to be a direction for stakeholders in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi oleh UMKM di Kota Bontang adalah menciptakan kemasan yang menarik khususnya produk makanan dan oleh-oleh khas Bontang. Padahal peran kemasan sangat penting karena menciptakan kesan pertama bahkan sebelum produk dikonsumsi. Kemasan telah mendukung penciptaan nilai tambah bagi sebuah produk dari segi bentuk, warna, hingga grafisnya. Kemasan juga berfungsi dalam membangun indentitas sebuah produk. Indentitas yang tidak konsisten dapat menyebabkan konsumen kesulitan dalam mengenal produk tersebut. Program pengabdian ini akan melakukan Bimbingan teknis produk kemasan dari produk oleh-oleh khas di Bontang. Program pengabdian ini akan dilakukan di pada ibu ibu PKK Bontang Utara. Program pengabdian ini akan fokus bagaimana mendampingi pelaku UMKM di Kota BontangĀ  untuk mengembangkan desain kemasan yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan tingkat daya saing produk tersebut. Luaran yang diharapkan dalam program ini adalah desain baru dari produk peserta pelatihan. Proses pemetaan produk-produk Kota Bontang menemukan bahwa produk-produk yang dihasilkan disana memiliki kualitas yang baik dan potensial untuk dikembangkan.
