The sample size of 60 students for each of the 30 intervention groups and 30 control groups. Analysis using Mann Whitney. The results showed that the average knowledge before intervention in the intervention group was 9.70 and in the control group was 10.73. The average knowledge after intervention in the intervention group was 13.93 and in the control group was 10.80. The analysis showed a significant difference in increasing the average value about maturation after marriage knowledge between groups before and after the intervention with a p value of 0.000. Thus, it is necessary to develop learning and educational methods, to increase health promotion activities, to increase the knowledge of elementary school children about sexual violence

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia. The high prevalence of diabetes causes a risk of peripheral neuropathy, 90% of DM sufferers have neuropathy and 50% have peripheral neuropathy. With more than 10 million people living with diabetes, Indonesia has a prevalence rate of 6.2%. The prevalence of DM in the Bengkulu City area is 2,369 people and based on data obtained at the Sawah Lebar Community Health Center in Bengkulu City in 2021 there are 296 people. The purpose was to determine whether there was an effect of a combination of leg exercises and foot therapy using a tennis ball on the sensitivity of the feet of people with diabetes mellitus. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design technique using a pre-post test design with a control group. With a research sample of 40 respondents who were divided into 2 groups. The intervention group was given a combination of leg exercises and foot therapy using a tennis ball, while the control group was given ROM measures which were carried out 3 times within 1 week. Analysis using the Wilcoxon test ? <0.05. to see if there is a difference in the average sensitivity of the feet before and after the intervention is given. Then the Mann Whitney U Test was carried out with ? <0.05 to assess whether there was a difference in the average sensitivity of the feet after. The results showed that the average sensitivity of the feet after the combined intervention of leg exercises and foot therapy using a tennis ball was 9.05 with a p value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there was an effect of increasing foot sensitivity after being given the intervention.

The number of respondents was 36 people consisting of 18 respondents for each intervention and control group. The intervention provided was video education while the control group was given a booklet. Data collection is done by means of Consecutive sampling. Data analysis through univariate and bivariate analysis with the Mann whitney test and T-test. The results showed that the p value of 0.012 (p value <0.05) means that there is a difference in the average value of breastfeeding self efficacy scores between groups. This shows that there is an influence of education through videos on breastfeeding self efficacy in III trimester mothers. Video education can be used as an effort to increase the confidence of mothers to provide exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Chronic renal failure is the deterioration of kidney function, which, over time, will be increasingly damaged and cannot be repaired so that the body fails to maintain metabolic, fluid, and electrolyte balance. Thirst is one of the problems often encountered in patients undergoing hemodialysis with fluid restriction. Thirst is typically responded to by drinking, but patients with renal failure are not allowed to respond the usual way to the thirst experienced. Therefore, thirst management is essential. One thirst management that can be applied to respond to thirst is chewing gum to reduce thirst in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Hemodialysis patients experience thirst, which causes discomfort and affects quality of life; chewing gum (peppermint) is an intervention that can be used to reduce thirst. This study aimed to determine the effect of chewing gum on thirst in hemodialysis patients. The research design used is a quasi-experiment with a one-group pre-test design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total sample of 35 respondents. The intervention group was given chewing gum. The thirst assessment instrument uses the Thirst Distress Scale (TDS) assessment instrument. Research results: The average thirst before chewing gum (22.34) is severe. After being given the intervention for three days, the patient's thirst decreased to (12.91) mild thirst. Analysis using the Wilcoxon test with a p-value of 0.000 ? < 0.05, where there is a significant effect of chewing gum on thirst in hemodialysis patients at Dr. M Yunus Bengkulu Hospital.
