Abstract

This study aims to find out how efforts can be made by educators or teachers in building critical thinking in learning in the current digital era and find out how important critical thinking is for every individual, especially in today's era in responding to the challenges of the industrial revolution. This research is a type of qualitative research using library research methods. Participation in this research was carried out by 9 students accompanied by 1 lecturer from the Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang. The results of our research sourced from articles and journals show that it is important to develop every individual who lives in the digital era to think critically. The role of teachers or educators in building critical thinking is very dominant. This is something that every educator should pay attention to in bringing up new innovations in the learning process to stimulate students in forming a critical mindset. Moreover, critical thinking is one of the abilities included in 21st century competencies that must always be built to face the challenges of the industrial revolution. , where the flow of information can come from anywhere, then the need for critical thinking skills is very useful for selecting relevant sources of information.

Abstract

In the world of education, it is necessary to focus on teaching material models to be applied or implemented to students in the learning process so that they can be effectively adapted to achieve the goal, namely student learning outcomes. So that by utilizing the appropriate model of teaching materials it will be effective in increasing the motivation and also the learning outcomes of students at school. Particular attention is paid to the use of online media or the CANVA platform used by Tangerang 15 Elementary School to be precise for Grade 2 students to be one of the efforts of a teacher to increase motivation and also interest students in the learning process. The method used in this research is literature study by utilizing several journals as well as previous literacy related to the topic taken by the researcher. From the results of research that has been carried out by utilizing several previous studies also that by utilizing learning media on the CANVA platform it is very suitable to be applied in order to increase motivation and also learning outcomes for class 2 students at SDN Tangerang 15 because it utilizes audio-visual, color features, audio, characters, illustrations, photos, and others that can be adapted to the creativity of students and can enhance their ideas and creativity, especially in thematic subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the understanding of grade 5 students in learning data processing and to identify the types of errors that are often made by students. This study originates from the law of the Ministry of Learning of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 57 in 2014 on demonstrating essential skills of mathematics in specialization development, communication and life adjustment. This study used full-time and student checks of 34 students from SD. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data processing includes making tables, line diagrams and bar diagrams. The results of the study show that students' understanding of data processing still needs to be improved. Common errors are conceptual errors, data usage errors, data interpretation errors, technical and input errors. Errors in the conclusions listed are common errors. Data processing education should be improved by providing a better understanding of basic data processing concepts and teaching students the proper way to use, interpret, and present data. It is also important to choose learning methods that are interactive, relevant and interesting to students. This research helps improve computer science education in grade 5 elementary schools and informs more effective learning efforts to improve students' understanding of mathematics.
