Abstract

In line with the development of tourism in the sacred area of ​​Tanah Lot Temple, Pakraman Beraban Village, it is seen that the development of Hindu society in the level of lifestyle, culture, and social religion occurs dynamically in line with the development of global tourism. Based on the facts, space commodification can be identified.On the one hand commodification can produce material benefits, while on the other hand it can be a threat to the religious religiosity of the community and the sanctuary area of ​​Tanah Lot Temple which has the status of a heavenly heavenly temple. The sacred area of ​​Tanah Lot Temple as a cultural capital which is a tourist attraction in the development of tourism in the village of Berraman Beraban contains magical religious meaning. Conceptually this religious meaning reflects changes in cultural capital is expected not to have a negative impact on religious teachings that are believed by the manners of Desa Pakraman Beraban. It is hoped that tourism culture will not damage the culture of Pakraman Beraban Village which is imbued with Hinduism. Although tourism culture seems to be very prominent in the space of Desa Pakraman Beraban religiosity remains firmly rooted in the life of the Pakraman village based on tri hita karana. Therefore, the preservation of the existence of Hinduism also means the preservation of tourism sustainability in the village of Pakraman Beraban.

Abstract

There is a similarity to the concept of philosophical thinking between Pythagoras and Hinduism. just call the first that Pythagoras believed in the existence of the Soul and the transfer of souls from the present being to the creatures to come. When someone dies, his soul returns to the world, enters the body of one animal. Hindus themselves know these teachings as Punarbhawa or Samsara which are part of Panca Sraddha. On the other hand, Pythagoras also stated that in order to achieve a pure life, one must eat meat and beans. With his belief, Pythagoras became an advocate of vegetarianism, which only ate vegetables and fruits, which in Hinduism were included in the teachings of ahimsa.

Abstract

Abstract

Geguritan Batur Taskara (hereinafter abbreviated as GBT) is one of the many literary works of geguritan in Bali, which is a Balinese cultural heritage, with the values of religious education, both moral values, philosophy / tattoos, and ritual values contained in in the literary work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the philosophical teachings / tattwa in Geguritan Batur Taskara using descriptive qualitative research methods. The conclusion of the research shows that the value of philosophy (tattwa) exists and is contained in the GBT with an outline of the five main points of belief in Hinduism called Panca Sradha. Abstract

The main character in Geguritan Batur Taskara (GBT) is Batur Taskara. Whereas the secondary figures are Raja Patali, Maya's Wife, and Batur Taskara's son. As well as complementary figures are the servants of the king, Empu Bajra Satwa, Pranda Wife, and Hyang Wirocana. Analysis of characterizations in GBT, among others; 1) Batur Taskara is the main character in Geguritan Batur Taskara because he fully supports the story / gets the most portrayal of the figures from other figures. When viewed from the psychological aspect, the Batur Taskara figure is described as a figure who is not good because it always creates chaos in Patali. However, Batur Taskara is not always portrayed as a figure who always does evil. In the end he regretted all the evil deeds he had done and wanted to repent. 2) Raja Patali, from the psychological and sociological aspects, was a king who was highly respected by his people because he ruled in a strict and peaceful manner. 3) Maya's wife is the wife of Batur Taskara who is described as an evil and very devious woman. With her beauty and guile, she tried to win Batur Taskara's heart. 4) Batur Taskara's son is portrayed as an intelligent child and very loyal to his mother, 5) The king's servants are portrayed as being very loyal but rash in their actions. 6) Empu Bajra Satwa has a very high sense of humanity and love because even though he knows that Batur Taskara has committed many crimes, he still wants to accept Batur Taskara as his student, 7) Pranda This wife also has a sense of humanity and love that very high because they are willing to accept Batur Taskara in Pasraman very friendly. 8) Hyang Wirocana is a figure of God who lives in a grave with a good character because he forbids Batur Taskara from returning to Patali at Badra Wada because he could find death.
