Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: Equitable access for education can be a measure of a country's justice. Although almost all countries, including Indonesia, have echoed campaigns on education for all, this has not always been successful. Various obstacles were faced, such as socio-cultural constraints, especially for isolated tribes. This study aims to determine the factors that influence parents' construction in the Bajo Tribe towards children's education in the Sapeken Islands. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological method. The study was conducted for one year with ten subjects. Data was obtained through participatory observation, then analyzed using the NVivo program. The results show that at least five factors influence the construct of Bajo parents on their children's education. The five factors include religious and moral values, relations with the outside world, availability of transportation facilities, educational facilities, and access to information. Abstrak: Pemerataan akses pendidikan dapat menjadi ukuran keadilan suatu negara. Abstract

Abstract: The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning assessment has attracted the attention of many educational experts, researchers and practitioners. This study discusses the opportunities and challenges of using AI in learning assessment. Traditional assessment has weaknesses in terms of misjudgment, inability to measure individual abilities that are not measured in certain forms of assessment, significant cost and time, slow feedback, and inability to be adjusted individually. Several studies have shown that the use of AI in assessments can improve the accuracy, validity and reliability of assessments, reduce human rater bias, enable adaptive assessments, increase time and cost efficiency, provide faster and more timely feedback, and assist in identifying individual needs and improve the quality of learning. However, the use of AI technology can only be a tool, and the final decision must still be made by humans. Therefore, the use of AI in assessment requires special attention in terms of ethics and the development of human capabilities to understand and use AI technology wisely. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Assessment Abstrak: Penerapan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam penilaian pembelajaran telah menarik perhatian banyak ahli pendidikan, peneliti, dan praktisi. Kata  Kunci: Kecerdasan Buatan, Asesmen

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of technology in the national examination system in Malaysia and Indonesia, focusing on comparing the use of technology and its implications. The research method uses comparative analysis based on secondary data from various reliable sources. The data were analyzed regarding six indicators: the rate of adoption of computer-based technology, the rate of adoption of online exams, the efficiency of exam implementation, the availability of infrastructure, the use of software, and technical readiness. The results showed significant differences in the rate of adoption and utilization of technology in the national exams in the two countries. Malaysia is more advanced in adopting technology with computer-based and online exams, while Indonesia still struggles to equalize the necessary infrastructure. The use of technology in the national exams in Malaysia has increased efficiency and accuracy, while in Indonesia, limited infrastructure is an obstacle. This research concludes that technology can improve the quality and efficiency of national exams. Still, technical and infrastructural challenges need to be overcome so that the benefits of technology can be felt equally in both countries.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of Ethnoscience learning in Science and Social Learning to elementary students, including the obstacles and the solutions as well as student learning outcomes. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data used is the result of observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis was carried out by applying a descriptive qualitative interactive model approach. The research results show that 1) Implementation of Ethnoscience learning in Science and Social Learning is carried out by observing, identifying, preparing questions, discussing, completing assignments, and submitting assignment results. The learning process takes place in a way that students understand the lesson material in a real way and in accordance with everyday life; 2) The obstacle faced by teachers in learning is that the learning process takes a relatively long time or requires a lot of time. 3) To overcome these obstacles, teachers carry out supervisory and guidance functions during the learning process; and 4) The results of implementing Ethnoscience learning in Science and Social Learning are that student learning outcomes increase. The results of the research concluded that Ethnoscience learning is very appropriate to apply to Science and Social Learning because it is interrelated in terms of using the environment as learning resources.
