Abstract

Cultivation of clove plants is very necessary in the field of agriculture. This research aims to review clove cultivation techniques in Sangihe Islands Regency. The research was conducted in Sangihe Islands Regency, Central Tabukan Village Kuma One Hamlet One, Two and Three. This study uses survey methods. To obtain data from farmers using questionnaires compiled according to clove cultivation techniques. The number of farmers surveyed was forty-eight. Conduct interviews in person to farmers, using questionnaires. The questionnaire data collection is then analyzed percentage values and displayed in table form. Results showed that the cultivation of clove plants (Syzygium aromaticum L.) In kuma Village one hamlet one, two and three Central Tabukan Districts sangihe islands regency declared already in accordance with the recommended clove plant cultivation technique.Keywords: Cultivation, Clove Plants, Middle Tabukan Subdistrict.AbstrakBudidaya tanaman cengkeh sangat diperlukan dalam bidang pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teknik budidaya tanaman Cengkeh di Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe Kecamatan Tabukan Tengah Desa Kuma Satu Dusun Satu, Dua Dan Tiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Untuk memperoleh data dari petani menggunakan kuesioner disusun sesuai teknik budidaya cengkeh. Jumlah petani yang disurvey sebanyak empat pulu delapan orang. Melakukan wawancara secara langsung kepada petani, menggunakan kuesioner. Pengumpulan data kuesioner kemudian dianalisis nilai presentase dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil menunjukan bahwa budidaya tanaman Cengkeh (Syzygium aromaticum L.) Di Desa kuma satu dusun satu, dua dan tiga Kecamatan Tabukan Tengah Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe dinyatakan sudah Sesuai dengan teknik budidaya tanaman cengkeh yang dianjurkan.Kata Kunci : Budidaya, Tanaman cengkeh, Kecamatan Tabukan tengah

Abstract

This research aims to: 1). Knowing the quality of peanut seeds used by farmers in Bolaang Mongondow Regency 2). Knowing the source of peanut seeds used by farmers in Bolaang Mongondow Regency. 3). Obtaining good ways of providing and distributing quality peanut seeds to be planted by farmers in Bolaang Mongondow. The study used a survey method (Stratified Random Sampling) which was carried out in stages: Preliminary survey, survey of quality and source of peanut seeds, In Bolaang Mongondow, Dumoga Barat sub-district (Werdie Agung Village and Doloduo Village), Lolak District (Lolak Induk Village and Lolak Dua Village, West Pasi sub-districts (Wngga and Bintau villages) and Bolaang Timur sub-districts (Ambang and Bolaang villages) Testing the quality of survey results, seed viability, seed vigor, number of pods, weight of pods weight of seeds Data on number of pods, weight of pods weight of seeds were analyzed using analysis variety and 5% BNT test.The results showed that the viability variable, the vigor of the peanut seeds used and planted by farmers from seed sources in Bolaang Mongondow district, both for cultivation and guaranteed seed quality standards were respectively, Dumoga Barat District, Doloduo village , Pasi Barat Subdistrict, Wangga Village and Bolaang Timur Subdistrict, Ambang Dua Village, which had the number of sprouts and v above 80% and high vigor. For the sub-districts of Lolak Desa, Lolak Induk, and Lolak Dua, it cannot be recommended because the number of germination and seed viability is below 80% with low vigor. The number of pods and the weight of pods planted gave the same results for each village. The best seed weight in KT2 (Doloduo Village) 31.77 seed weight, KT5 (Wangga Village) 31.59 seed weight, KT7 (Ambang Dua Village) 31.55 seed weight and KT8 26.86 seed weight.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe study aims to determine the status of physical and chemical properties of soil on paddy soilin Kotamobagu Utara district. This research was conducted in November 2019 to January 2020using a survey method and laboratorios analysis. Soil samples were taken at thirteen points at adepth of 0 to 20 cm. The parameters measured were soila texture (Kang Biaw Tjwan method),pH (pH meter), C-organic (Walkley and Black method), nitrogen (Kjedhal method), phosphorus(Bray I method) and Potassium (Bray method I). Research data analysis using descriptiveanalysis. The results showed that soil texture in the research sites is silty loam, the content oforganic matter is in the range 1,25 % to 2,50 %, the content of soil pH is in the range 6,8 to 7,0 ,the content of the element nitrogen is in the range of 0.11% to 0.22% , phosphorus content in therange of 18.34 ppm to 23,21 , and potassium element content is in the range of 22,21 ppm to30,21 ppm. The chemical properties of paddy soils in Kotamobagu Utara District is at textureclass of silty loam and chemical properties of paddy soil with each respective criteria neutral soilpH, C-organic low to moderate, Nitrogen low to moderate, Phosphorus moderate and Potassiummoderate. In general, the physical and chemical properties of soil in paddy fields in KotamobaguUtara District are included in the criteria suitable for paddy soil.Key Word: Physical properties, chemical properties, Paddy Fields
