Abstract

Abstract. Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by dengue virus infection. One symptom of dengue virus infection is high fever and headache. Dengue virus is a virus from the genus Flavivirus, family of Flaviviridae. This dengue fever is a dangerous viral disease because it can cause sufferers to die in a very short time / several days. The existence and population density are often associated with transmission, endemicity and Extraordinary Events (EE) of DHF. Disease mapping by utilizing digital technology to support epidemiological investigations and also as a tool to monitor regional conditions for dengue disease. The purpose of this study was to determine efforts to prevent and control dengue disease by mapping. The results of the study show that mapping can be seen as increasing and decreasing the number of cases of dengue disease so that it can assist in data management and reporting of information to monitor areas at risk of contracting dengue disease. Suggestions given need to do further research using other variables that are the cause of the high rate of dengue cases, so that it can be utilized by related agencies as the basis of the information system supporting the decision on preventive measures to combat dengue. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis Deep Dialogue Critical Thinking dengan menggunakan model Auditor Intelectually Repetition di kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September 2020 di SMA Negeri 10 Gowa Kabupaten Gowa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Gowa sebanyak 25 orang yang terdiri laki-laki sebanyak 10 orang dan perempuan sebanyak 15 orang di SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data dikumpulkan kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis deskiptif dengan pedoman acuan berupa tabel kategori hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa distribusi nilai statistik hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Gowa pada efektivitas strategi pembelajaran berbasis Deep Dialog Critical Thinking dengan menggunakan model Auditor Intelectually Repetition mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Peningkatan tersebut diperoleh dari nilai tertinggi, nilai terendah dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II. Nilai tertinggi siswa pada siklus I yaitu 80 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 95, nilai terendah siswa pada siklus I yaitu 45 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 60 dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada sikilus I yaitu 64,6 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 80,2 mencapai nilai KKM 75.Kata Kunci : Deep Dialogue, Critical Thinking dan AIRI

Abstract

Penelitian berkaitan dengan informasi peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa telah dilakukan di kelas XI SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan mekanisme pelaksanaan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, refleksi dan evaluasi pada setiap siklusnya. Subjek penelitiannya adalah 30 orang siswa kelas XI IPA tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Instrumen dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengamatan, dan lembar quisioner. Lembar pengamatan dipakai untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui aktivitas siswa. Angket (Quisioner) dipakai untuk memperoleh data peningkatan motivasi siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Simas Eric dan siswa sebagai responden memberikan tanda silang (X) pada setiap jawaban yang benar untuk mewakili jawabannya. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Pada siklus 1 memiliki tahapan-tahapan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pada tahap refleksi, peneliti mengadakan penilaian tentang beberapa kelemahan dari prosedur refleksi sebagai bahan rujukan dalam perbaikan pada siklus 2, yang dimana tahapan penelitiannya sama dengan siklus 1. Data yang didapat dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa model pembelajaran Simas Eric mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan hasil motivasi belajar yang dilakukan siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus 1 motivasi belajar siswa sekitar 61%, sedangkan pada siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan motivasi belajar sebesar 84%.This research was conducted to obtain information about the increase in learning motivation of class XI SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar. This research is a type of classroom action research which has several implementation mechanisms include planning, implementation, action, reflection, and evaluation in each cycle. The research subjects were 30 student of class XI IPA for the 2019/2020 academic year. Instruments in data collection using observation sheets and questionnaire sheets. The observation sheet is used to obtain information about increasing student motivation through student activities. The questionnaire sheets were used to obtain data on increasing student motivation in the application of the Simas Eric learning model and students as respondents gave a cross (X) on each correct answer to represent the answer. This research consisted of 2 cycles. In cycle 1, there are stages including planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. In the reflection stage, the researcher conducted an assessment of some of the weaknesses of the reflection procedure as a reference for improvement in cycle 2, where the research stage was the same as in cycle 1. The data obtained in this research were analysed using percentage analysis techniques. Based on the results of the research, the Simas Eric learning model was able to increase the learning motivation of class XI IPA students of SMA YP PGRI 1 Makassar for the 2019/2020 school year. This is evidenced by increase in the results of student learning motivation in each cycle. In cycle 1, students learning motivation was around 61%, while in cycle 2 there was an increase in learning motivation by 84%.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Bungoro yang terletak di Kabupaten Pangkep Sulawesi Selatan. Permasalahan mitra yaitu siswa SMPN 1 Bungoro Kabupaten Pangkep belum mengetahui dan memahami tentang kelainan buta warna dan siswa juga tidak mengetahui apakah penglihatan mereka normal ataukah mereka mengalami kelainan buta warna. Alternatif solusi masalah yaitu memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa tentang kelainana buta warna dan melakukan tes buta warna dengan metode Ishihara kepada siswa SMPN 1 Bungoro Kabupaten Pangkep. Adapun target luaran yang ingin dicapai yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa SMPN 1 Bungoro Kabupaten Pangkep tentang kelainan buta warna dan siswa-siswi SMPN 1 Bungoro Kabupaten Pangkep sudah mengetahui diri mereka apakah menderita kelainan buta warna atau tidak. Metode yang akan dilakukan yaitu presentasi tentang kelainan buta warna dan melakukan tes buta warna kepada siswa SMPN 1 Bungoro Kabupaten Pangkep dengan menggunakan buku Ishihara yang berisi 24 plate. Dari hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil semua siswa SMPN 1 Bungoro Kabupaten Pangkep yang telah melakukan tes buta warna sudah memahami tentang kelainan buta warna dan 100% siswa tidak mengalami buta warna (mata normal).

Abstract

This research is aimed at: (i) identifying the difference of students’ activity at grade IX of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa who were taught using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match (ii) finding the difference of  students’ response at grade IX of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa who were taught by using cooperative learning of type the power of two and type make a match (iii) discovering the difference of students’ learning outcome at grade IX of SMPN 1 Sungguminasa who were taught by using cooperative learning of type the power of two and type make a match. Type of this research is quasi experiment that was conducted at SMPN 1 Sungguminasa. There were two group of experiment involved on this research; those are group experiment I who were taught by using cooperative learning type of the power of two and group experiment II who were taught by using cooperative learning type make a match. Instrument of the research include observation sheet of activities to know the students’ activities, questionnaire to discover students’ response on the learning activities, learning outcomes test to obtain data the learning outcomes of the subject Human Survival. The data were than analyzed descriptively and inferentially (t-test with α = 0.05) by the assist of SPSS 15.0 for windows. The result indicates that: (i) there is no significant difference between activities of students who were taught by using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match, (ii) there is no significant difference between responses of students who were taught by using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match, and (iii) there is no significant difference between learning outcomes of  students who were taught by using cooperative learning type the power of two and type make a match.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop laboratory work guidance based on the jigsaw learning method combined with the probing approach. This research also aimed to analyze the characteristics and properness of the developed product. The research referred to the previous model that was designed by Borg and Gall. The research was conducted from a preliminary study to trial test empirically and carried out with the one group pre-test post-test design. The product was examined by two validators resulting in 4,59 and 4,82 in the category of very good. The product also tested restrictedly to 10 students with different competencies (high, moderate, and low). There was 83% with high competency, and 80% with both moderate and low competency. The collected data were statistically analyzed by t-Paired test in SPSS 23 version for windows showed the value of significance is 0.000 and lower than 0,05. It implies that the pre-test scores are significantly different from the post-test meaning that the product is available to use.

Abstract

The holiday in the month of Ramadan makes some parents confused about how to keep their children studying even though they are fasting. Where children sometimes only play gadgets which ultimately have no benefit for them. So, we held an activity with the theme “Interactive Worksheet to Improve Children's Literacy Ability. The purpose of this activity is for children to be able to improve children's literacy skills regarding the meaning of the holy month of Ramadan by using worksheets and increase children's activity in knowing the meaning of the month of Ramadan. One type of learning media or learning aids is student worksheets or also called worksheets. The formulation of the problem from this activity is; (1) How to improve children's literacy skills in knowing the meaning of the month of Ramadan? (2) How to increase children's activity in knowing the meaning of the month of Ramadan in using worksheets? This activity is carried out during the month of Ramadan 1443H, which is April 3 – May 2, 2022. The participants of the activity are all Indonesian children aged 5-10 years, who are committed to learning Ramadan knowledge with parental assistance. The results of this activity are from 19 participants, there are 14 participants who get the Excellent category with a score of 97% and 100%. The percentage of participants who were able to achieve the Excellent category was 74%, or most of the participants were able to follow well the entire series of Ramadan literacy activities. Students get the Deficient category are from 19 participants, there were 5 participants who got the Deficient category. The percentage of participants who get the Deficient category is 26% or a small percentage of participants are less able to take part in Ramadan literacy activities. Abstrak Libur pada bulan Ramadan membuat beberapa orang tua bingung bagaimana cara agar anak-anak mereka tetap belajar meskipun sedang berpuasa. Dimana anak-anak terkadang hanya bermain gadget yang akhirnya tidak memiliki manfaat bagi mereka. Sehingga kami mengadakan kegiatan yang bertema “Worksheet Interaktif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Anak. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu agar anak-anak mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak mengenai makna dari bulan suci Ramadan dengan menggunakan worksheet dan meningkatan keaktifan anak dalam mengetahui makna bulan Ramadan. Salah satu jenis media pembelajaran atau alat bantu pembelajaran adalah lembar kerja siswa atau disebut juga worksheet. Adapun rumusan masalah dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak dalam mengetahui makna bulan Ramadan? (2) Bagaimana meningkatkan keaktifan anak dalam mengetahui makna bulan Ramadan dalam menggunakan worksheet? Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama bulan Ramadan 1443H, yaitu 3 April – 2 Mei 2022. Peserta kegiatan adalah seluruh anak Indonesia berusia 5-10 tahun, yang berkomintmen untuk belajar ilmu Ramadan dengan pendampingan orang tua. Hasil kegiatan ini yaitu adalah dari 19 peserta, terdapat 14 peserta yang mendapatkan kategori Excellent dengan nilai 97% dan 100%. Persentase peserta yang mampu meraih kategori Excellent yaitu 74%, atau sebagian besar peserta mampu mengikuti dengan baik seluruh rangkaian kegiatan Literasi Ramadan. Siswa yang mendapatkan kategori Deficient yaitu dari 19 peserta, terdapat 5 orang peserta yang mendapatkan kategori Deficient. Persentase peserta yang mendapatkan kategori Deficient yaitu 26% atau sebagian kecil peserta kurang mampu mengikuti kegiatan Literasi Ramadan

Abstract

Biodiversitas atau keanekaragaman hayati akan selalu dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan. Faktor lingkungan dapat berupa suhu, saliitas, kelembaban, pH, kadar logam berat, dan lain-lain. Faktor lingkungan ini akan memengaruhi tumbuh kembang makhluk hidup. Kegiatan ini berupa sosialisasi mengenai biodiversitas dan faktor lingkungannya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan secara daring melalui aplikasi ZOOM dan kanal Youtube. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini merupakan dosen dan mahasiswa yang berasal dari berbagai dari kampus di Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon yang baik dari peserta karena sekitar 78,05% yang merasa puas dengan kegiatan ini dan banyak peserta menyarakan kegiatan serupa dengan tema berbeda dapat dilakukan lagi.
