Abstract

Latar Belakang: dalam 1 dekade terakhir, banjir pada awal tahun 2021 merupakan banjir terbesar di Kalimantan Selatan. Banjir ini mengakibatkan banyaknya masyarakat yang harus mengungsi, rumah yang terendam banjir, dan bahkan korban jiwa. Kabupaten yang paling banyak terdampak adalah Kabupaten Banjar dan Hulu Sungai Tengah. Bencana banjir ini berdampak besar terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, baik secara fisik maupun kejiwaan. Tujuan: menscreening diagnosis keperawatan dan etiologi yang muncul pada masyarakat pasca banjir di Kalimantan Selatan. Metode: penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik design dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan subyek penelitian dengan teknik consecutive sampling dilakukan untuk mendapatkan 423 sample. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner dalam bentuk google form yang diadaptasi dari buku NANDA-I (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association – International) edisi tahun 2018-2020 yang meliputi 85 item penilaian. Hasil: didapatkan 14 diagnosis keperawatan meliputi hambatan religiositas, ketakutan, hambatan rasa nyaman, risiko jatuh, ketidakefektifan manajemen kesehatan keluarga, kontaminasi, risiko infeksi, ansietas, ketidakefekifan koping, kerusakan integritas kulit, diare, penurunan koping keluarga, hipotermia, dan distress spiritual. Etiologi untuk masing-masing diagnosis keperawatan telah diidentifikasi berdasarkan buku NANDA-I.

Abstract

The lack of interest of nurses to used screening instruments for dysphagia at stroke centers and nerve spaces wasa strong reason for the development of the dysphagia screening website. This was to facilitate nurses in screeningpatients with dysphagia quickly. This study aimd to see the level of nurse satisfaction on the performance ofdysphagia screening websites. Quantitative research was used with total sampling techniques to 25 nurses. Itwas conducted on July to August 2019. Data collection used a nurse satisfaction level questionnaire after usingthe dysphagia screening website with results 8.0% were quite satisfied, 68.0% were satisfied and 24.0% werevery satisfied for the dysphagia screening website. As many as 88.0% chose dysphagia screening websites toscreen for stroke patients, 8.0% chose others that wanted this website to be developed into an offline applicationso that it could be used at any time and 4.0% chose to continue to screen for dysphagia by manual or check liston paper. Most respondent expressed the satisfaction in using dysphagia screening websites as seen from thelevel of satisfaction obtained.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease indicated by abnormal increase of blood glucose level. Diabetesmellitus requires long-term medical attention and treatment to prevent complication and manage the disease.The risk of complication can be reduced by self-management. The success of self-management hygieneconsiting of nutritional, pharmacology, physical training, blood sugar monitoring and foot care aspects areaffected by the motivation of diabetes mellitus patient. This research was located in Sungai Besar Village,from June to July 2019. The aim of this study was to determine the description of the motivation and selfmanagement of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. It was a descriptive observational research using nonprobability sampling method with consecutive sampling technique. The instrument was questionnaire with atotal of 101 respondents. Result the study showed that most respondents’ motivation was good (72.3%) andmost respondents’ self-management was good (92.1%). It showed that high motivation was indicated bybehaviors. The motivation of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients encouraged them to do self-management ofdiabetes mellitus. Motivation and self management of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in Sungai BesarVillage were good. Howover, only 2,0% of respondents dry between of their toes after washing and cleaningthem on the aspect of foot care. This result can be used as a reference for health workers to socialize abouthealth education related to the importance of foot care avoiding foot problems. Diabetes patient wereexpected to have great motivation doing self management.

Abstract

Background: The increasing of stroke prevalence is high year by year, and Indonesia is the number onefor cause of mortality. After three months, stroke survivors require long-term care. A stroke is a lifelongchange for both the stroke survivor and the family. Family caregiver is included in multidisciplinary thatshould provide the patients with stroke because of the unique demands on that population. There is lack ofstudy about stroke care in Indonesia.Objective: to explore the role and function of family in care of patients with stroke in community,Banjarmasin.Method: A critical ethnography design used in this study to explore and critically analyze role andfunction of family in care of patients with stroke in community. There were 15 key informants (familycaregivers) in this study using purposive sampling. Content analysis was used to answer the researchquestion.Result: Daily care activity, spiritual activity, rehabilitation and offering medicine, decision maker, andfinancial support are the role and function of family in care of patients with stroke in community setting.Conclusion: Family caregivers are playing an important role in caring for their relatives who havesuffered from strokes. They should work together with health workers to help the patient for enhancingthe quality of life of patient.

Abstract

Mortality and morbidity were caused by stroke. In ASEAN, stroke is the fourth leading andIndonesia is number one. South Kalimantan is the top four for high prevalence in Indonesia. Strokepatients require long-term care at their home and their quality of life will be good if they get theappropriate long-term care and support from caregivers. Quality of life of caregivers also need tobe considered. The purpose of study was to determine the supportive care needs of strokecaregivers when take care at home. A descriptive study used at neurological clinic, with 112caregivers, and using questionnaire. Data analysis used frequency distribution. The results showedthat the supportive care needs among stroke caregivers in the community is at a moderate level(100%, n = 112); with emotional domain (27.11 ± 8.47), psychosocial domain (26.84 ± 6.36),informational domain (23.74 ± 4.20), practice domain (16.3 ± 4.24), spiritual domain (6.43 ±1.30), and physical domain (3.06 ± 1.17). Nurses in the community need to improve the quality andthe health care system to help stroke caregivers in taking care for long term.

Abstract

Gastritis is inflammation in the mucosal layer and sub-mucosa of the stomach. The most commoncause is a bacterial infection of helicobacter pylori, autoimmune disorders and long-term use ofanti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This study aimed to describe the factors that influence theincidence of gastritis in RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura. This was a descriptive study withconsecutive sampling method. Sample of 33 respondents in hospitals Queen Zalecha Martapurawas gained. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed byunivariate. The results showed that of the total respondents, 66.7% have no good diet, 57.6% hada type of food that is not good, 63.6% frequently use anti-pain medications and antiinflammatory, 81.8% claimed to have the stress of work, 63.6% non-smokers, and 78.7% does notdrink alcohol.

Abstract

Esophageal achalasia, or also known as simple ectasia, cardiospasm, mega esophaageal, is one ofthe rare disease. In the General Hospital of Ulin Banjarmasin, this case is a rare.According toinformation that obtained from male internist ward, this case is the first time in there. The clientcomplained that he could not ate and drank since three months ago. Clientinitially complained that hefelt there was different sense in the throat. When heswallowed, he directly got vomiting. Thecharacteristics of vomiting was what he had eaten and drank. Client also complained that aftervomiting, he felt pain and sour at throat. Nursing diagnosis that appears on the client was associatedwith swallowing disorder related to (r/t)achalasia disease (disturbance / damage to the esophagus);imbalance nutrition: less than body requirements r/t biological factors: inability to have nutritionalintake (interference / damage of esophagus); risk for lack of fluid volume with risk factors: excessivefluid loss: vomit fluid / food; deficiency of knowledge r/t the lack of information exposure (esophagealachalasia), and acute pain r/t biological injury agents (disease: esophageal achalasia).

Abstract

Accurate clinical indicators are needed to validate the establishment of nursing diagnosis. Theaccuracy of clinical indicators is determined by the presence of defining characteristics and relatedfactors (etiology). A valid nursing diagnosis is essential to reduce the risk ofmisdiagnosis. The studyaimed to investigate the main defining characteristics and etiology of nursing diagnosis impairedphysical mobility that appeared in stroke patients. This was a descriptive study (documentation study)with retrospective approach. There were 26 documentation notes ofstroke patient used in this study.The results showed that the main defining characteristics that appear in stroke patients were difficultyturning (100%), limited ability to perform fine motor skills (100%), limited ability to perform grossmotor skills (100%), decrease in range of motion (26,9%), and slowed movement (3,8%). The mainetiologies that appeared in stroke patients were decreased muscle strength (92.3%), neuromuscularimpairment (80,8%), pain (19,2%), joint stiffness (3,8%), and sensoriperceptual impairment (3,8%).Nurses are expected to focus on the main defining characteristics and etiology that appear whenperforming the assessment in stroke patients with impaired physical mobility nursing diagnosis inorder to plan effective nursing actions.

Abstract

Breast milk is the best food for babies, because it contains all the nutrients the ideal amount andcomposition required by infants. One of the obstacles in the early breastfeeding is the production ofbreast milk in small quantities on the first day after birth. Ways that can be done to increase milkproduction is the treatment of breast care and massage oxytocin. This study aimed to compare thebreast care with massage oxytocin on milk production in mothers of normal post partum. Thisresearch quantitative with quasy experimental study design, 32respondents with consecutivesampling, used independent t-test. Milk production in mothers with a normal post partum breast careaction has an average number of 31.4375, while the production of milk with a massage action ofoxytocin has an average number of 24.8750. Test independent sample t test showed that the results ofthe t> t table (2.858> -2.037) and the value of p <0.05 (0.008 <0.05). Based on research carried outcan be concluded that there is a difference between the breast care with massage oxytocin on milkproduction in mothers of normal post partum.

Abstract

Stroke is a major causes of disability in the world and the main cause of death in Indonesia, so theprevention is very important to minimize the incidence of stroke. The appropriateness of strokeprevention isto control the risk factors of stroke. The purpose of this study was to analyze therelationship between risk factors and the incidence of stroke in Banjarbaru’s Hospital in 2014. Thisstudy used a descriptive analytic observational study design with case-control approach. The subjectswere 84 stroke patients (42 case group and 42 control group), consecutive sampling techniqe wasused and the tool was questionnaire. Dataanalysis used univariate and bivariate statistics. Theresultswere, for risk factor that unmodifiable was family history with p value 0.016 (OR = 3.281). Formodifiable risk factors were the total cholesterol (0.000; OR = 5.638), hypertension (0.001; OR =5.392) and LDL (0.002, OR = 8.000).
