Abstract

This study focuses on research with a phenomenological approach regarding the symbolic meaning of the ethnic Chinese Muslim identity at the Lautze 2 Mosque in Bandung City, which focuses on concluding the meaning of ethnic symbols in Chinese New Year as a means to integrate in the form of friendship and participation with the Chinese extended family; the meaning of Ethnic Symbols in Feng Shui which is still used and believed among Chinese Muslims; the meaning of the ethnic symbols in the lion dance which is still preserved as an art in various Chinese performances and endeavors; and the meaning of ethnic symbols in the Lucky Cat, which is still practiced in some Chinese Muslim circles, and is valued as part of the wisdom of the Chinese ancestor.  The study attempted to remain integrated with a more significant initial ethnic identity. For Chinese Muslims, family ties or relatives are essential in maintaining friendly relations, and believing Islam is the teachings of rahmatan lil 'alamiin. In addition, there is a reinterpretation of the symbols of Chinese ethnicity as a form of strengthening the identity of the Chinese Muslim ethnic group. This study can be used as theoretical knowledge in the form of theoretical conception to enrich the theories of the study of religions to assess the religious phenomenon associated with symbols of ethnic identity and religious identity, even acculturation between newcomers and natives. In addition, practically from the research, it is suggested to be an academic consideration for various government policies to build inter-religious harmony and harmony between ethnicities and groups, especially regarding religious conversion and belief and taboo issues in Indonesia.

Abstract

Disposal of trade waste and household waste has negative impacts, such as land shifts, floods, air pollution, and other disasters. The same thing happened in Batujaya, precisely in the hamlet of South Bakung, where the river is the most practical place for disposing of waste. The purpose of this paper is to describe the research points: 1). How is the water crisis as a form of environmental damage in the people of Batujaya Karawang; 2). How does Seyyed Hossein Nasr's analysis of environmental theology view the water crisis as environmental damage. This research is a direct field research, using qualitative descriptive method, and Seyyed Hosein Nasr's theory of environmental theology as the analytical knife. The results of this study found that first, the people of Batujaya, especially the South Bakung community, were in danger of throwing garbage into the river. Second, the lack of anticipation from the government and the sanctions given to the people of Batujaya, especially in South Bakung, for the disposal of trade waste and household waste into the river. Third, make people in Batujaya, especially in South Bakung aware, not to throw garbage into the river anymore by means of physical and spiritual socialization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the hadith dhaif and know the practice of hadith dhaif in the community, this research is a qualitative type with a description of the analysis and historical approach then collects data findings in the form of secondary and primary. The results of this study are to know the meaning of dhaif hadith both in language and terms, to know the rules that exist in the practice of dhaif hadith, to know examples of dhaif hadiths and their syarah, to know the kinds of dhaif hadiths, especially those spread in the community, to know the kinds of dhaif hadiths, and know the form of practice of dhaif hadith in society. This research results in the fact that there are hadiths that are weak in the sanad or matan, and it turns out that there are several conditions so that we can practice the dhaif hadith with certain conditions, even a lot of attention from scholars regarding this dhaif hadith. This study recommends that there be research, especially field surveys by analyzing so that it is more precise.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the hadith of the Prophet Saw. about the use of soil as purification mughallazah unclean. This research method is qualitative through the takhrij and syarah hadith approaches with chemical analysis. The results and discussion of this study is that the components contained in the soil can clean and adsorb bacteria from dog saliva. The conclusion of this research is takhrij and syarah hadith of the Prophet Saw. regarding the use of soil as a purifier for mughallazah unclean with chemical analysis it is proven that bacteria or viruses in dog saliva can be absorbed by the soil.
